Crocqman, there's also the Generation Space podcast on Spotify and probably other platforms.
Yes, and Spire Global, one of the public companies that SSIT invested in (NYSE), was up 12,50% yesterday which also bodes well. My guess is that this shows how sensitive the valuations are to forecasted interest rates.
Let's hope so. A good update this morning.
I bought in at the IPO and cannot justify adding further even at the low. One for the long term, for sure, so although disappointing to date, not a huge concern.
I must confess to not paying too much attention here of late and did not even know that they had started releasing a monthly newsletter. Plenty of reading for later now I have seen these going back 5 months!
Good luck
Has to be good news for long-suffering holders, as this morning's 20% rise attests.
Coincidentally, an RNS this morning!
It looks promising, however, I'd like to see how (just indication) all this activity and money flow impacts the value of the SSIT's investments.
Just added more at 27.4p to bring my average to 64p, I'm expecting this to be a 3-5 year investment and would be happy to get out at 100p so a 40% gain. Part of a well-diversified and hedged portfolio.
Been wondering when the right time is to average down myself. Would like to hear some news from the board, been a bit quiet
Discount to current NAV must be around 70%.
When interest rates ease surely we'll see a significant SP move up to close the gap to NAV but that would get us probably to 80p-ish, so a multi=bagger from 26p??
Another ThisisMoney article with some commentary from the SSIT CEO.
SP is down a further 16% since the last article just 6 weeks ago.

It was always a risky investment. The interest rate rise certainly hasn’t helped, the pre tax loss of 17.3 million was definitely an eyebrow raiser and the fact that virgin orbit has recently collapsed wouldn’t have helped either. My average is £1.10 and I do not want to put any more into this stock to average down. I guess it’s just a waiting game.
Anyone seen any news articles or anything recently?
We've gone from around 120p to 36p in 12 months.....what's been the big problem?
minus 67% since launch...
Do we have Klingons on our starboard bow?
Another ThisisMoney article.
I wonder if this agreement means RR is with the scope for investment for the fund?
Still languishing at all time lows since launch. Maybe adding a company like RR would be a good move?

Some commentary from the Fund on Virgin Orbit and Britain's space industry.
Not a great amount of content, but some exposure for the fund

With about 20p cash per share, surely the SP should be higher???
This is my pension pot long hold. Can't cash it fo20 yrs years so il either be living the life of luxury or working like a dog til I drop. Promising the figures Spire posted yesterday , step in the right direction
Tks Troajan
This was always a long term hold (10 years plus), just disappointing that it has dropped so far.
Even after selling the IPO position for a decent return profit due to circumstances at the time, buying back in close to the original issue price has proven to be poor timing.
Re-investing now compared to 9 months ago would have been much better.
Hindsight!
croq....yeah,the instituitions,like backing this
and long term, its all looking very good
he reckons in 10 years time,it'll be a billion pound comp.
Anything of interest said?
This is looking like a very long term hold....
So when does the bleed end then? We've lost the 50p mark.
Usually with this is money it has a short impact then does down. Their success rate on smaller caps / unusual ITs is about 10%, but God do they yap on about those and forget about the 90%.
Hardly informative, but it will reach a wide audience nonetheless.....
