As ever boys and girls...dont get carried away by a 29% rise in the sp...unless your a short term trader..then good luck to you. Maybe some info is leaking out pre EGM.. who really knows? My advice for what it's worth is hold for the long term...that's 5 from now! If that time frame is too long for you best cut and run if your not prepared to accept a loss or at best break even. The South London investors are in for c 2.5m+ more shares since the crash on 22/8. As I understand it all these shares will be excluded from the 'vote' so why all the sudden interest ahead of EGM tomorrow?
it's been great taking this journey with you but it ends for me , wishing your all the best , here with Sphere , at the races , last man standing and chasing the nurses around the wards .
Something must be going on. Price shooting up.
Bought... no worries if it actually delists because they will get funds at a premium.. sure the money would come back eventually. But I expect it to go a lot a higher... in the 2s

Got my average down to less than the offer. Largely on trust that woody and Wales would damage their reputations for little reward if they shaft us hangers on.
Even more now....over 11 million. I am guessing that there are investors who are good/ok with a company going private....It is not something I have ever held, so it was a bit of a shock when I heard it was happening... However after much thought and consideration...I am a lot more comfortable with the thoughts of holding shares in a private company....would prefare if I know there would be management changes...however I accept the current position doesn't allow for it at THIS PRESENT TIME. Back in November 2011 I bought in on day one, when the company went from private to public @ 95.5p because I believe 100% in the product along with its market potential...Today, as it now stands on the brink of returning to a private company...I still believe 100% in the product and it is hugely down the line then back then.... So I decided to decline the cps offer and buy in the market instead........got 1 million early this morning after much thought. I must admit that it felt more like a gamble bet ...then an investment stake order...:-) Anyway.....thats me done and dusted.....cant even figure if the vote yes would be good or bad as JL can testify to as well as myself...each time we buy the sp falls...LOL... Good luck all.....
9.2m buy traded...shares still available at 0.64...very very smelly!
Jeez 5.6m all buys and the sp ain't budged surely it should have tanked! Ain't gonna say it but are the barrow boys .....? You know where I'm going!
BP......Only limited if it's all one way! It aint, lots will be looking for a small touch of a £100+ in this chaotic market which is no more than a roll of the dice or the turn of a card. What does 0.65 represent? Oh yea the cleaners wages no doubt! Whether Mr Market is being overly pessimistic or not is for you to judge. We are where we are and imo the sp is out of kilter to the fundamentals of the long term prospects and I might add nobody suggested this was a quick fire return. I factored in 4 years and I was out by 2 ish years. Cancellation of our quote caused the drop, panicking investors to run for the hills, fearing more bad news. Understandable for sure. So ask yourself what as a public Co can Sphere achieve they cannot as a private entity? Answers on a postage stamp! Let's get over the vote, delist (unless an offer appears out of the blue?) and relists in 5 years at (multiples of the head cleaner wages)....... and that ain't a given is it? A million shares when I started buying Sphere would have cost not far short of £350k!
A couple of what look like large buys have gone through, yet I can't even buy 50K on a FOK!
Hopefully, someone's got wind of management and BoD changes. As soon as I do I'll consider...
A million buy today ...there is a limited float. Added a few myself. Vote is tomorrow I think.
Can't agree Del....its small potatoes for him in cash terms but his % is large and I think he knows a lot about Sphere. Remember it was his first investment in WPCT. Has he slung in £12M on a whim?
Considering the hammering he has taken with the big companies...his losses presently are around £12M here so far before he puts in another £4M.....small stuff really. No wonder he knows probably nothing about SPHR....
I hear Maesteg RFC are looking for a loose head prop!
It does reiterate his patient capital approach and I suppose his putting more into Sphere does support that. Not sure about the rugby analogy, unless he kicks Renken and his team mates into touch!
This was an interview on video can't find on U Tube or Proactive....but will surface somewhere no doubt.
I would say to his fund holders but he did mention Provident in particular....no mention of Sphere...of course. Nevertheless I'd take it as a wide ranging apology to investors but certainly not to Sphere per se.
JL.....is he talking specially to SPHR shareholders or investors in his fund?
Daily Torygraph & D.Mail carry the article also on video (U Tube?).
Given Woodford's comments to shareholders to ignore the 'chatter' the 'hysterics' of the market and focus on the long game will he pull the plug on Sphere? Think not. Not sure about the sales team going but for sure slimmed down. We must cont to sell P if orders are being taken....the more the better! Interesting comment he makes...."it may surprise investors but it's a fact of life that regulatory environment that sits around public markets ensures that I can't know all the things that I would want to know" Make of that what you will!
Link please John
Morning all. They may continue to supply any hospitals already using Proxima...and use the data gathered. But I suspect the direct sales team will be no more. I think the selling and collapse in spite has been the vote....we will know tomorrow around 12 midday. Tim from advfn is attending if I remember..
