In last Interview - Graham suggested significant news update for shareholders in Autumn.
Last day of Autumn is 30th November.
Can news be delivered on time and within this timeframe I wonder + I am also wondering and worried what the SP could be by end of this period??!
Transformational news is required here ASAP
Oh dear, what's happening here. Could be nearly time for a top up. They do say no news is good news...but who said that & what was it about? They obviously werent a trader of stocks or they wouldnt have uttered that BS! News is what we want & it better be good! No news is driving the stock into the ground!
Other than that, etc & so on........
Crude
Sods law, back to work and the weather is glorious in my part of the world!
I see the bashers, moaners and out right nutters are still about.
why go though life so negatively? maskes no sense to me.
if you don't like sound as an investment move on.
if it goes t!ts up, so what, it's only an investment.
personally I am looking forward to thw day we get the final go ahead on the financing and Phase 2 FID.
This makes sense ;
Morocco is well positioned to become a major gas exporter in Africa. Its current reserves are around 39 billion cubic metres of gas, reveals the US-based NGO Global Energy Monitor.2023.
Sound Gas ; Buy Buy Buy
So are you sent from above to protect everyone Kylie.
Millions of posts and also onADVN.
Have you done your gonads and are bitter?
What’s your story morning glory?
I don’t get your angle.
The article is in share then followed by prophets. This is just a repeating pattern and repeating mgt behaviour. Why? Because the investment case doesn’t nor has it ever made sense.
ktf, educate yourself, there’s an article on ************* dated yesterday on exactly this point. i’d sit down before you read it, it makes a grim but oh so predictable point. the obvious.
Another thought on why this bond holder has opted to partially convert to shares.
If the reason was to generate cash, surely he would be better advised just trade the bond rather than convert and realise a loss!
The bond has a good interest rate and would command a decent price after only two months from issue.
Whilst I’m at it kylie, your continued banging on about Sound being fcuked because the SP is low also makes absolutely no sense.
By inference you are saying that if the SP were higher Sound would be a successful company.
So, also by inference you are saying Sound under Parsons et al. with no cash and no plan was a better company. Utter tripe!
and despite your bleeting your's is not an objective view!
Kylie, you have not countered a single one of my points!
All you do is post unfounded negative opinion and point to a lower share price as justification.
Presumably you are new to AIM and have never seen a stock drop between news?
Please provide a counter argument to the points below.
1: there is no evidence that the converter is selling.
2: for the converter to sell now would not make sense as it would lock in an immediate loss that they don’t need to take.
3: if the converter kept all the CB instead of converting they would be better protected should the company go under – so fear of that is not a logical reason to convert
4: all deals are still on going or we would have been told via RNS.
Those with an objective view get shouted down, when in reality it’s all the baseless bullish twaddle posted on this bb that act like Sirens to other investors. The investment black hole that has been SOU since the wheels fell off in 2016. That’s the scandal.

You lot have no shame. The share price almost traded sun-1p on Friday, sub-1p. Think on that. Anyone listening to the seemingly better informed minority here could have saved themselves a lot of money by exiting months back. But still you go on and on in your ill informed, dreamland postings there bare no resemblance to reality at all. Just look at all the carp posted on here even since just June, let alone before then and think about how that played out!! But still you’re at it. My god, no wonder aim is known in professional circles and the black hole for retail investors and their cash. Good luck next week and those afterwards, at some point the light bulb might just turn on for some of you, either that or GL will run out of cash to keep the lights on. He’s got zero accountability and has zero inclination to treat existing sh with any respect or do what’s in their best interests. It’s like a 7yr slow mo train crash where you’re all picking the bottom time after time at 50p, 20p, 8p, 5p, 3p and now 1p and can’t see the pattern. Just wow.
Yes I agree…..
Southmead Your Sound , so on Monday everyone Buy Buy Buy.
We are all agreed then.....this conversion is great news for Sound shareholders and in all probability signals a huge uplift in the SP :)
I won't. Seemed like a sensible contribution.
And because I'm sure some will try to twist this, in black and white :
IF Sound were in trouble it would be safer to keep holding the convertible bonds than convert them to stock.
Only problem with your view here kylie is that you seem to have missed the point that convertible notes take priority over other debt that the company may have issued, as well as over equity holders. This means that, if the company fails, the owners of convertible notes are more likely to recoup their losses.
hope this helps :)
The convert buyer will not have changed their view on Sound in such a short period of time and in the absence of any negative news. These are institutional buyers not prone to the panic attacks of private aim gamblers.
The only difference between holding the CB (convertible to stock) and holding the converted stock is that the CB holder can't vote with their potential holding (as if converted) whereas once converted the holder has the same voting rights as any other holder per share.
Some (kylie et al.) imply that the converter is selling, there is no evidence of this. Sure, there has been selling, but this is AIM and in the absence of news people always sell. Sound is between news, ergo there are sells!
Any price sensitive news (good or bad) MUST be reported via RNS. We have had no news RNS therefore there is no bad news and things are proceeding as we have been told in previous RNS.
To imply the CB buyer is selling because they think Sound is doomed or because they need the money implies that the CB buyer did no due diligence before buying and are hopeless at their own cash management. Both of which seem rather unlikely to me.
Which leads me to think that there may be a big vote coming that they want to make sure passes. I made this point directly to Sound a few weeks back and unusually received no reply. Make of that what you will, but the negative posters saying this means Sound is doomed etc. is just wishful thinking on the part of some very strange individuals.
Good point Shrek.
I was only thinking about the first two points, desperate for money and thinking that business is doomed.
Either way, the lender would convert and sell shares into the market and realise a little cash at least.
They would also forego their interest payments!!!
This loan was only put in place in JUne wasn't it?
How could a lender mis-judge things so badly in such a short time scale?
It baffled me, but your last point is valid and makes sense of it.
Lender converts and retains the shares because he has a very recent, reliable evaluation of the prospects for the business and believes that the SP will go substantially higher.
He cannot wait for conversion as he will miss the boat, so convert and now and keep them and wait for the big rise.
Well done that man.
It’s pretty hard not to think that last months huge conversion is all the selling that’s been sitting on sp recently. Same can be expected from Monday onwards then, but new starting point is 1.05p so all time lows are in sight next week or two, for me. For me option 2 is most likely. Why would they lend 4.5m to SOU then two months later realise they’re short of cash? Seems extremely unlikely to me.
Only reasons i can see you would do this are
1) you desperately need the cash
2) you think co about to go belly up so get out with something
3) you think news is imminent that will push shares higher (although why not just wait until above the strike price)
A lender that must really need the money badly and is prepared to discount their loan by 60%.
Incredible or stupid or what?
Theories please?
With the SP @1p. What, how ???
Conversion of 22m shares @ 2.25p - strange!
