The Ecuador government has signed an IOA fir Cascabel...
No DFS for any project...weve never got past PFS(2) for Allala and PEA for Porvenir...
Best you can do is go on the website and look at the March 2023 Presentation, which has a page of summary numbers from PFS2...
Haha of course BHP wont vote against Scott now, look how great a job he did decimating the share price for them.
If nothing coming soon, this might be nationalised. Forget the investment protection stuff cause there are always justifications.
Am also interested but struggling to find DFS for the various projects - can anyone link those for me or provide the NPV/rate/Cu/Ag price and sensitivity analysis if possible?
Roxi, please be cautious putting a time line regarding a bid. Last year this time, it was predicted that we wouldn't see the 2023 agm. Yet here we are. I have a nagging feeling that we will still be here for the 2024 agm still waiting and guessing. I do hope that I am wrong and that Scott will deliver and not kick things into the long grass.
Next concern, when will the raise land?
Just need that first bid Roxi...
PFS3 by end of January?
Bit of profit taking today before we move up again...?
All systems go for a RIP roaring Junior Miner Bull Market...
LordWM, the production argument has been put to bed and the board is focussed on moving towards an exit. This has been confirmed in the AFR article relating to DC's court case, which is well worth reading.
There's a way to go yet, but the AGM results have given our guys the mandate to continue the pursuit of delivering a good shareholder return.
Now we have a settled BOD, we can continue our discussions with the interested parties, lets hope the Chinese are nearing the completion of DD, and make a bold bid for the Company , 2024 could be a very exciting time for shareholders
Hi all, I'm a new holder (read about Solgold in MoneyWeek). This is a very active board and there seems to be lots of debate about Directors & strategy (develop vs sale). Would someone have time to summarise the situation in laymans terms pls for new PIs? Thanks in advance.
Very pleased with that.
:)
GLA
It just goes to show how little effect PIs have on here...
Even if all those who threatened voted against Scott, he still got 99.22%.
In fact those who voted against everything cant have been more than 8.7 million shares because that was the vote against PWC.
For the record I voted against the Directirs Remuneration. I always do, because there is an obscene disconnect between FTSE Directors and their employees...top CEOs earn on average 388 times the NMW.?
Personally I am very pleased because I think the guy is genuinely working in our interests.
Cuzzubbo would have driven us into oblivion and we should remember he was ex BHP...a leopard diexnt change his spots...
Okay I am out of here for a while, as no Christmas shopping done and also friends to see.
So will wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Rcgl, good point and I think you're right.
The CGP shares have already been issued. They are outstanding and just being held by the Canadian subsidiary. So they aren't covered by the resolutions I don't think. Can be sold at any time. They also aren't technically treasury shares according to the Companies Act definition as they weren't bought back out of profits.
I think the Colonel has just got his marching orders……
Not quite everyone got what they wanted.
Fort (absolute joke of a ramper-turned-pessimist with predictably terrible timing) wanted SC out. How did that go, Fort? Let me just check that vote tally again...
Well according to the court documents, Nick Mather has for some time wanted to stop further spending at Cascabel and sell it. Which is what we are doing.
Good morning addicknt as you know I have always supported Nicks view.
If we are sold it will be for fair value.
I have stated many times how various defence strategies and the diverse book makes this hard to achieve.
We still have PFS3 and the strategic review.
Hopefully they'll be less confusion after these are published.
I have never been against a sale if it's fair value.
I just believe in order to achieve fair value we have to construct Cascabel.
Agree Add.
I suppose the positive of the special being rejected is that it makes the SolGold Canada shares less likely to be issued and anyone who had their eye on them now has to either start buying on the open market or twist Scott's arm into print some brand new paper.
Interesting dynamic emerging there.
So everyone got what they wanted. Main resolutions past and protests made over share numbers.
SC you have until the end of the 1st quarter to get this logjam moving or you are toast.
Great result AGM, now we can focus on the year ahead, looks like a couple of big voters, still enjoy throwing their toys out of the pram, we still have a great team of Directors at the helm, to get the job done
Bozi, fair point.
Over time BHP's strategy became crystal clear (perhaps it always was and the board fell for assurances that they were there to help the company) and anyone who effectively voted to support them seemingly had no idea of the consequences. Anyway, we've been spared that and hopefully we can ignore BHP's whingeing and move towards the exit. If they don't like it, they can make an offer.
Q, surely the DC deposition has made it perfectly clear what's happening? And it ain't production.
Hey Fort - are you getting that whiff of Caldwell toast this morning?
No it would appear not. Just the 99.22% for. Ha!
