Everyone is talking about this commodities bull market. What kicks it off ?
The last paragraph of a post from bbg on hot copper.
"My SOLG position has cost me circa A$260k and I am of the belief that it will be 12x current price when taken over. I believe that is a conservative opinion because if we source capital from regional asset deals and a big NSR deal, this will allow us to start developing and so it will force the majors hands to move on us"
He's now got £260000 tied up, and is expecting a 12 bagger from here.
What are your thoughts on that adikt
The question would be how long will we be waiting for? for this monetisation event?
How much dilution do we have to take to keep going while we wait?
If there is no near term monetisation what is our plan B here?
Do we just keep raising to to pay Scott and his friends salaries and fees until it happens? or do we go back to to being an explorer whilst trying to progress Alpala? if monetisation isnt happening any time soon? AKA Cazzubo's plan? That would require more of a funding raise.
That would also have to see Scott and his mates eat an enormous humble pie.. and resign
Worryingly I see no plan B to us simply hoping the PFS numbers impress and a major wants to do a deal very soon.
HFH
Thanks, watched yesterday and he was indeed talking specifically about the top 100 discoveries. I think we can safely say Cascabel falls easily into that category.
As for the insults…. Just ignore
At the risk of being called a twat, muppet, moron, clown, mentally unstable etc etc etc, I still believe, hope, expect (sorry if I've missed one out NAL) thar we'll receive positive news with the revised PFS this month. However, it's not overly important to me as my strategy is very much as outlined in the attached interview.
Q what's your exit strategy?
A it's very simple, the top discoveries will always be taken out by a major, so we wait for the buy out.

they will rip the sh??t out of you and your waccy posts.
just how desperate are you
Mather seems to be creating a reputation for being a bit of a Jonah.
Had a good mention regarding a stock on page 15 '' Best of the brokers''

I have been watching events over at DGR for the last few weeks... what a mess Mather has got them in.. investors over on the Hotcopper board are rightly furious with the details in regard to how it has all unfolded...
But the valuation of DGR against their remaining underlying assets (Solgold shares) is still at a huge discount... as long as Solgolds value doesn't fall further.
It will be interesting to see how DGR raise funds this year to continue.. which just also happens to coincide with Solgold needing to raise funds later this year to continue.. Mather paddling his own canoe.. he's got lost and been going round in circles... and now he's found a big leak..

Gino73 well the is an awful lot of hot air spoken on here so a few logs and squeaks probably not out of place.
Hoorah for Dixie, BBG appear to taken his meds this morning and is actually sounding lucid!!
He is focusing on DGR rather than asking folks to show him theirs so he can see if his wrinkled prune measures up 😆
Sound points Fort, one thing for sure, things are about to get interesting for NM!!
BHP paid 45p for their entry into SOLG. Do groups like BHP do DD prior to investing into juniors?
They seem very content where todays SP is - why would that be?
Bob and Citi will be keeping tabs of what is happening at DGR. There is no chance Mather would do a placing at 0.018c.
DGR won't go bust however they are forcing an asset sale
Aquinaga - plaudits for expressing 'squeaky bum' and 'logjam' into the one post.
Your literary talents are admirable. ROFL
Fort, as a matter of discussion, have BHP shown any sign of interest? Have they topped up to pre-dilution percentages at a discount to their original investment? Excuse the pun but I think they have their own dam problems. A £250m tiddler like us is not going to get any attention anytime soon. Sorry.
Whole of DGR valued at approximately 9.6m , their stake in Solgold valued at 15.9m. Almost 40% discount.
Cheap way in to Solgold for stake building.
Not advising anyone to buy shares in DGR for themselves as that would be quite high risk. Do your own research.
One thing's for sure - he has to raise money from somewhere. So, will he be able to get a placing away, or will he be forced to sell some of the assets?
If he fails, he'll be looking at administration/receivership, and that isn't necessarily good news for us as the the administrator will dump the holdings without much regard to the price, or who buys them.
I'm not sure Mather will sell DGRs full position but i can certainly envisage him releasing 12 months worth of cash.
I know who my idea of the acquirer would be...
Fort, this could be the "Googley" we need to watch for! LOL!
Would get this Tier 1 deposit back on the right footing and limelight!
Buggerthebanks, I want out! But at a profit, LOL!
From Willem Middelkoop and others, they are all expecting a step change up in PM's.
Just a matter of when? Black Swan, like war in the Red Sea?
Yep up 38% in 2 days.
Very possible the future of this 6.8% stake will be key to how the bidding will eventually get underway for Solgold.
Mather bet the house to sort out DGR and he just lost the court case. He could appeal I guess but it looks like squeaky bum time over there. Key to DGRs future is for Solgold to get sold.
Is the logjam finally starting to move?
Certainly one to watch espcially when you take into account the other stock that might be on the table soon too. Lets take a look...
1. CGP shares circa 5.5%
2. DGR shares circa 6.8%
3. Newmont shares circa 10.2%
The chinese currently hold circa 6% so we are told. If they were to acquire the above, they would hold 28.5%!!!!
If BHP were to acquire that lot, then they would have 32.6%! And that requires a formal bid.
Bob and co would be in big big trouble if any one entity bagged anywhere near 29% level.
A$1.5m costs (admin and staff) for the last quarter. Cash balance at end of the reported period A$961k.
I'd say he has his work cut-out.
DGR up a bit more today.
DGR's current situation may force Mathers hand sooner than he intended.
Eloro. You're assuming bbg actually holds the shares he boasts of.
His track record for telling porkies is not to good.
But I do agree, he must be having some sort of medical episode. His posts get more bizzare by the day.
I believe the stress of having more than he can afford to lose tied up in solg, has caused some issues with his mental health.
Maybe that's why no clappers ever question his posts
It is sad to witness an elder mental decline. One can only extend sympathies to BBG'S loved ones who are no doubt currently in emotional turmoil.
BBG has clearly lost the plot. What bearing does mine and others share ownership got to do with the current dismal state of Solg's SP performance which is down to our incompetent ceo dozing at the wheel? Willy waving one's share ownership is a crass display one upmanship! I would have thought that the repercussions of the turmoil at DGR would be of greater importance than bragging about an asset which is losing value every day Scott The Rocks Caldwell wakes up!
Perhaps BBG's true intention is to steal posters financial information! Why else would he, in the age of phising, be requesting folks to provide proof of their share ownership? He is indeed a Maroon😆
Copperpot, as promised, I've had a little peep back to see if I can learn anything from your
well researched posts.
I found this corker, posted by you just before we nearly had a civil war in Ecuador.
not to sure where you did your research, please enlighten me, so as to help me on my journey to
posting informative information.
"I've just informed (by telephone) the Chinese Embassy in Quito of all this unruly behaviour by those Albanian chaps! I can honestly say that they were horrified by the reports from this bulletin board. They are looking at rescinding the 'Trade Agreement' promptly! Phew Cor Brimey, who took my call at the Embassy is still reeling from this breaking news! Mr Brimey commented......."how could we have been so dumb to sign a trade agreement"?
in fairness I can't be bothered to look any further. there is a limit to how many times I want to read about
your cattle station/farm, and your constant abuse of others.
