If "Ingo" was close to the 'hub' so to speak @ Solg, he would definitely know where the company was going.
And yet Ingo's 'mate': RedKnight (who was someone he communicated with), hasn't a clue about any of it. How strange is that, one asks.......
With so much money invested in this stock RK, you would definitely be looking for any leads as to where Solg is going and it would show in how and what you write.
But your 'mate' has told you the square root of FO, hasn't he. Great mate eh?

Red thats a easy one to many

ET...how man years have we been "on the cusp of great things..."?
In either of the latter cases I would have asked him to 'clear his desk's....
When employees get put on garden leave it's because the Company no longer wants them out of the office and no longer working for them for what ever reason. You get full pay and usually gardening leave is applied while you are serving out your notice period. Usually gets applied when the employee goes to work for a competitor and the company may want to safeguard confidential information or has concerns that the employee may not act in the employers best interests.
Your right who would leave a company on the cusps of great things
RK, do you know if he had a raft of options? And I assume he's being classified as a "good leaver" - does that mean he can keep any options he does have? If the answer to the questions is "yes" and "no", it seems a strange time to be leaving.
Are you referring to the rumour about Peel Hunt...?
Iwill pass on all these good wishes, but...
He has not been fired, otherwise why is he on 'gardening leave's until September?
I guess his stint as CFO and with all the institutional investor roadshows and the various fundraising engagements to potentially fund Cascabel, his exposure has increased massively.
He is a talented professional who has been in the shop window.
With Darryl and Aytens appointments the locus has firmly moved to Brisbane (where BHP are based...Newcrest are in Melbourne).
I wouldn't blame him if he got an offer that allowed him and his family to stay in Europe or even Toronto, which is rapidly becoming the epicentre of mining finance...
So a company like Agnico Eagle, or Equinox Gold...he originally came from Hannam Partners and they're in London.
I will follow his career with interest and stay in touch because he is one of the good guys...and with integrity...
The new CFO is likely looking at deals and mining with people that Ingo would not get near. Different calibre entirely. SOLG is maturing and moving toward being a very strong and professional outfit. Majority of the earlier management team is being replaced and that's understandable as big investors want big experience behind the wheel. Ingo was right for SOLG some years ago but the new lady is the one that will get the 'major' deals done. Thus Ingo must feel like a spare part and has moved on likely looking for another smaller company that he can begin to build and move forwards which is better suited to his skill set. He's not going to Barrick or BHP as CFO is he! Also, as the AGM nears in Dec, I suspect there will be a few other 'old' management players moving on and certainly some big names being voted off 'should' a monetised deal on Alpala not materialise. The clock is ticking and you can feel the squeeze coming into the sharp end.
Hearing rumours of brokerages terminating SOLG coverage?! Can anyone confirm?
Ingo was only their to define a conditional funding package and any raisings were coordinated by CITI.
If existing shareholders or investors are willing to cover the cost of any future monetary requirement, he’s job is not required.
Ingo leaving is the biggest hint yet that corporate action is upon us very soon.
Ingo leaving the company is a serious blow and my worst fears of 7 weeks ago come true: believe me, when it comes to raising capital for a small cap, a trusted, experienced veteran counts 100x more than a hastily inserted "Deal specialist". What a sham! Does the share price reaction not toll you everything you need to know about the real motivation of the "management" team. To me, the case is clear: Big egos: long vanity, short common sense. Ingo needed to be supported, he was bond to creste value. A man of honour. I wish him well and he will continue contributing to shareholders' value creation somewhere else. SOLG is going nowhere, mark my words.
I think ingo has left under his own stem
Surely you wouldn't let him go until the ink is dry on any deal being done.
I think he had reservations about the way the company was moving and didant want it on his cv AIMO
BNC don't disagree there comon!!!,hi Pinot hope your well nice to hear from you cc x
Hi wine gum..........
Well if they're disposing of the chap brought in to secure financing options, thus implying they're no longer looking for alternative financing options....that would suggest that the co is setting a clear signal in this regard now...........
Still think these shysters BHP are playing the long game and trying to push us down in value and try n get us for fo-ok all...........
Then again we could wake up one morning to news of an offer/deal anytime............
Then again at this rate we could still be sitting here waiting writing the same guff in 10yrs time.........for pity's sake........
For heavens sake......stop messing us about.............put up or bu-gg-er off.............u shytsers!
Nite

RK, did he get fired for telling you they had drilled the best hole in Latin American history - or similar…:-)
There is still the faintest glimmer of hope of a takeover bid before we are diluted into the stone age. Good luck everyone.
He said corporate action...in my book that's a clue.
ICGAF. We've just got nothing to talk about.
Evening all .....if my memory serves me correctly he stepped up as interim when Priyanka Jaysurya resigned with imediate
Effect.... I wish him all the best too

:0)
Does this co not release key business updates via RNS any more?
We have to find out a person in a key position has departed via their personal linkedin account?!?!?
Also AT interview found elsewhere and not on the co website - with insights into negotiations well underway it would appear re several tenements specifically + others implied.........
wtf
unimpressed!
RK,
Please send my regards & best wishes to Ingo and thanks for his contributions!

Endgame.
it is clear there is a redundency issue. Not a sustainable position in this case.
