Flogging now
DBW - I am certain a deal has been reached. Its inevitable.
Its now up to BHP and Newmont to decide whether they want to make a suitable offer or not.
BHP making a bid for Solgold after we have announced a funding package makes them look terribly stupid.
If we even need a funding deal…
Red …. From another point of view the funding delay could be down to Scott cherry picking the right deal
So...copper over $4...
Gold going up again...
Solgold gloing nowhere...
How long before the 10 parties that are "extremely interested" face a perfect storm and regret not having started the bidding earlier...
Anyone know where I can find 14mt of cu?
4-point harness fully buckled up. Bring it on.
Well, it keeps the traders on their toes.
Rodeo movements
Those in for the inevitable news... will be well strapped in.
Raid, snatch and grab
News must be close if they're triggering stops
Look at that trading algo go
absolutely no shame whoever it is.
So it would appear! We should start seeing more sensible and useful posts on the CEO. CA solgold board in Canada soon. They have a fair but firm moderation policy.
In the last two weeks we've had the most important and significant announcements the company has produced for a very long time.
Sorry...I didn't mean to interrupt.
Grizzle, they're both very ignorant to the fact that they've virtually destroyed this platform!
Thank you Quady. Please keep it Solg related. If you and 1984 wish to continue your discussion, please take it elsewhere.
You’re trying to twist your complete misunderstanding of the process to fit how you now understand it to work (having been educated by me on the topic)
Everybody sees you for what you are.
When the first bid lands for solgold you’ll use a process of about half a dozen posts to claim it was your stance on the most likely outcome all along
In other words you’re a sneaky liar
Grizzle you are correct, I will stop posting.
Mods.. Enough!! These guys are just jamming up the whole board with spam...Its become unusable!!
So Slug are you saying that buys and sells are not matched in auction.
Trust me that's what happens.
I just used the term balancing. To make it simple.
So you don't believe buys and sells are not matched in auction.
You are a little bit more than confused.
I’ve not forgotten the strike in fact I recently watched a documentary on how the formidable thatcher beat the strikers. She didn’t give in to wage demands like the current lot do
But how is it relevant to my comment that we were a net exporter of energy in the 80s?
Do you understand what the term net means?
Slug have you forgotten the 1984/1985 miners strike.
We imported coal from south America for less than the wage bill of British miners, that's excluding the cost of extraction and transport.
How is that a viable proposition?
You’ve got a real problem admitting being wrong havent you?
You said it’s nothing more than balancing the buys and sells today
It’s nothing of the sort, it is the result of a (usually sometimes more) twice daily auction to improve liquidity
It hasn’t got anything whatsoever to do with balancing anything for that day
Slug you know I am correct.
The point I was trying to get across that it was a balancing.
The person I was speaking too wanted to understand it.
Supposing I had said that these were matched trades as buys and sells in a single transaction, I would have just complicated the situation.
You know that and I know that
I doubt DBW knows that.
We were a net exporter of energy in the 80s
Cheap and desirable has, coal and oil of which we have hundreds of years worth of supplies still remaining
Imagine unlocking all that wealth (and creating jobs)
Lastly today food and energy security is important for every country.
We are lucky as our environment gives us the ability to do both.
Imagine in our lifetime instead of importing electricity that we actually export it
We are making all the right decisions on renewables and France are reducing the percentage of their mix on nuclear.
I know that in 2022 that they are building more, but this is to replace current capacity, and reducing it at the same time.
