"This is the beginning of the end game"
I think the above statement is bang on . How this will end for LTH is anyone's guess !
RK, doesn't it occur to you that the board has already thought about the issues you raise?
Indeed Sean
One of the biggest obstacles to M&A action has just been removed
Zoros what alternative did we have? We were hitting the buffers in weeks. The BoD had no plan or direction, tge SP was heading to 5p.
THe big boys have knocked our heads together and told us what we need to do prior to a sale. The old SOLG has run its course, up a blind alley. This is the beginning of the endgame whether we like it or not.
Well...what would I know....but is it possible that's where Matsui &Co come in, or is this nonsense?
So why would CGP support it...?
Because this way they get far more for their shares when a bid goes through...just look at their SP for the last year...they've been drifting into oblivion at a price less than half what Nick offered and a quarter what they valued the company at...
Of this transaction?
BDMinefinder- if you’re still on here this am, does CGP still foot the $400m bill they would otherwise have had to pay IF Solg went to production? Or do we as a joint enterprise now pay it (ie Solg).
Secondly someone worked out earlier that this will cost an extra 500m share dilution?
So is this a good deal guys?
Z
Theres no way I would vote for this deal.
The combined coimpany will need even more cash than before...
Miketrix thank you. I'm happy to listen to all views, right, wrong and those that are simply misguided. What isn't healthy, is posters being afraid to share views and information for fear of ridicule and those like myself, who often don't feel able to seek information and clarification for the same reason. GLA
I see a placing coming
Red don't forget all the recent buyers in at 15p getting out at a nice 20% profit. I see a strong close today as we settle in the 20s again.
100% red has been selling...
If they already have BHP's approval it doesn't make sense for BHP and it would require a RNS anyhow...
I think this is a white knight defence move to get better terms for both comoanies in a takeover...
Otherwise where on earth is SOLG going to get the cash to continue, let alone to pay out the CGP holders that elect for cash...?
My buys and sells have been proven you silly sausage... and while in never ramped once..
he's been waiting since 13 lol. Regret dripping in every post :)
What is Solgold worth though? In Cascabel you have one of the world's largest undeveloped copper mines, but also probably the biggest land package for exploration with a further pipeline of tier 1 prospects. £1 a share would be nice but is too high a multiplier from 19p. We need a bidding war with the likes of Rio and BHP slugging it out.
Don't get suckered in by the liars, they will be selling out while pumping...
BTW, it'll be interesting to see if Berry make their views public.
You waiting to re enter Ray?
RK, I'd have thought they would have already had the nod from BHP/NCM. Surely the board wouldn't risk taking this to a vote only to lose ? They'd be out on their ears pdq.
This has been done to make a transaction easier and on that basis I can't see why BHP would object.
Just talking to a friend on the phone asking who this Jezzoo person is and what's he on about.
"I can't give my friend an answer, as I have no idea."
Oh Quady ! Now we know you are lying, you couldn't possibly have any friends.
You won't let it go will you ? Obsessed !
I love a successful fishing trip.
Obvs referring to Hello Dolly!! For those that don’t have thread view on (I don’t personally so sometime makes it hard to see who replying to whom)
Take your profits imo
Most recommended post I’ve seen on here in years (been in Solg + traded it for nearly 12 years).
SP slipping back after looking like it my go to 25p, short term profit taking selling I assume from the drop 2 weeks ago?
