Surprise surprise, British Bulls say BUY!!

How does it not rhyme?
Dozi Bozi , make it rhythm ffs
There once was an eejit called CovGaz
He got bored holding SolGold
Instead he wanted to buy Evraz
Cards in Ecuador he would fold.
Friends he made with our esteemed Slug
And many holes they both dug
But as Solgold gets it's latest plug
Maybe it's time we have a collective LSE group hug.
Regardless of whether this is the end game or otherwise, we should see some decent price action tomorrow. I've got a core holding that stays intact to the bitter end, however might deploy a cheeky trade first thing tomorrow as this rumor should lift the sp well NORTH of where we currently are. A few quid to be made regaedless ladies & gentlefolkers. C
Irwin has called corporate action many times in the last 5 years, but now all of a sudden we should take him seriously...
Never before have i seen someone's prior record conveniently forgotten. Ha.
Come and save us Mr Minefinder.
Yawn, Sean.
Do you want to have a go at refuting the point I made? Oh, wait a minute, you can't.
The thing is Bozi, the imminence of a Mitsui JV/investment , if done without BHP involvement , will surely provoke a bid. If not then DCs plans of cabs off the rank will come true . Either way , as Irwin says, it’s good news. And he’ll know more than us....telling that he only tweeted the two words...
Sean,
Have to admit i had to google “Chrystal palace Glasgow”
Turns out one of Glasgow’s best buildings (which will always be the Gardeners warehouse to me ) , is now a Spoons pub.
when i studied Architecture way back on 1982 this was Gardiner’s furniture warehouse - and our lecturers were proud to tell us Spotty youths something like ‘ first commercial use of cast iron facade in UK ‘ with lessons learned from London Chrystal Palace.
Happy to buy you a celebration cider and a single malt for me - before Christmas.
Reasons to be cheerful. …….1……..2………3……
skint
Is it Dozy Bozi? You don't seen too clever , dyslexia maybe?
More than interested. Who wouldn't be when a tier 1 world class asset like Cascabel is being discussed. Question is... is this a 'meet the parents' event or a prequel to meeting the new in laws? Eitherway... any deals on ENSA need Ecuadorian 'official' consent. Partners in cascabel are partners of Ecuador.
Irwin breaking his silence says it all. Mather and Irwin both said expect corporate activity in Q4 (end of the year).
Tick tock
Did you sell out at 13p hoping to buy back in again lower Bozi?
No bank will lend a non-revenue generating company multi millions of pounds on a takover offer that may or may not happen.
I think it's much more likely that Mitsui gets involved at Cascabel and actually dispels the notion of a near term takeover. Not sure how that will be received by the PI base.
Agreed
But it doesn't matter how long it takes for a takeover...there's no problem getting some cahs if thats happening...even a bridging loan from the bank...
RK - a takeover proposal could land tomorrow and it would be a push to get it completed for the end of the calendar year, so either way we're going to need money.
The tweet clearly references involvement at Cascabel rather than at a corporate level. As I've said, we need clarification and we need colour.
The company should really be releasing a "response to media speculation" RNS in the morning. Companies have done so on much less.
One way or another we won't have to worry about funding any more...
Time to let the brake off...funding or the lack is what has been holding us back...
You might have to change that Chinese for some sushi and sake wine bubble. You know what they say about when in Rome lol
I'll celebrate tomorrow monte with fizz Friday and a nice Chinese if this news arrives tomorrow morning indeed we been waiting for this moment for many years
Ditto Paul
Thanks for repost
Or rather the lack of it.
That's how I see it too Monte.
Investment, of whatever kind is what sank us into the 13s, after all!
Whether they are investing in us or taking over, either way it's a win win, rejoice dear fellow shareholders our day in the sun is a coming!
It's also great news, because it might mean an end to the lack of money that has consumed everyone for weeks?
Don't get me wrong, there may well be a takeover, but I don't believe Solg want that and it's not the only possible way forward.
It seems Mitsui are happy to take a slice and given the way things are going, they might want a fairly big fat one.
The only thing is, if Mitsui do say, buy Cornerstone, do NCM and BHP get offered a bigger chunk too. This would mean dilution but lots of funding.
There's still loads of routes we can take, imo.
Red, it may just be that Mitsui want incentives . Or just want to know how the land lies from the horse's mouth, in what the government is planning/thinking.
I'd be surprised if Solg gave then short shrift. Why would they, when they need funding?
The Japs are honourable, in my experience and while they want the best deals, they're not shysters who would stitch other companies up, imo.
Irwin clearly thinks it's news.
Obviously a promising development if you ask me.
These guys look to be sitting around a table in Equador with the minister talking about investing in Cascabel.
How can anyone put a negative spin on that? Maybe they have become institutionalised in fear following this company.
Could even be a takeover of Cascabel, or all northern concessions. May suit all parties if price is right. Would leave Solgold in a very strong position to concentrate on all other developements, exploration concessions, including "next cab off the block". All speculative of course, but interesting!
