Stackhouse is an “insider” and it would be a criminal offence to trade in shares of SOLG if he was aware of unpublished price sensitive information. I assume therefore that there is nothing imminent.
Stackhouse is part of the Bob crew. He was involved with the chinese discussions on Guyana Goldfields. And we know the latter got sold in 2020.
So he's well aware of the technicalties around buying shares in open market and especially in or around takeover or finance discussions. Equally he's going to be well conversed on how to circumnavigate them or play close to the red line.
At end of the day... buying an extra 100k shares is smallfry but I guess it suggests that all involved are OUT of a closed period for the moment. Perhaps they are about to go into another closed period so the window of opportunity is small.
Guyana Goldfields is perhaps the benchmark example for Bob and SOLG... but at a better price on assumesthat reflects the better assets.
They weren’t in a CLOSE (not closed) period
This is the 30 or 60 days before interim or annual results are announced to market
They were claiming to be in a blackout period. How can anybody be so thick to be told they’re wrong about 20 times and yet still continue to make the same error?
No wonder this country has had it. It’s people are stupid
It can be closed or closed period it's the same thing.
See below.
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/closeperiod.asp
Also Slug asks who could be so stupid.
Well they are not stupid, because they are correct.
The truly stupid on this earth are those that don't understand that a close or closed period is the same thing.
Those that don't understand climate change is real.
Those that believe white supremacy is a good thing.
Those that show hatred for women and don't even understand that they hate women.
Those that don't believe in democracy and think an uprising is coming because they don't agree with their idiotic beliefs.
Those that think Toyota have developed a car that runs on water.
I recently showed a Toyota dealership his insane post.
It gave them more than a good laugh.
Lots of responses.
The best was this guy is a complete loon.
Yes closed and closed are the same 🤪
It’s about correct use, those who know for example would understand that a picture is hung but a person is hanged
Have a look at your investopedia definition and tell me which financial period we are expecting results from and when. How can he (or you) be right?
I’ll ignore your other ridiculous accusations. Did you show Toyota their own media page?!
There’s also a plan to run planes on fuel made from faeces (it’s on bbc woke news so you can trust it 100%). If they ever get that tech into cars you could have perpetual motion personal transportation given the amount of effluent that comes out of you
PS….climate change wheels are coming off fast now, there was some goon at a conference teeming us we all had two years to save the world (ie same
Rubbish as the last 59 years)
Ah well, two years? We tried our best. Best not bother any more seeing as india and China aren’t 😜
Also aston Martin have stuck two fingers up to the lunatics. They’re going to carry on developing new petrol cars
It’s all falling apart and you still can’t/won’t see it
No I was just passing, didn't show Toyota their own page because it doesn't exist.
You have constantly refused to put up a link
This as the guy pointed out makes you a complete loon.
But feel free to prove me wrong on this one point.
Put up a link to the Toyota page that shows a car that runs on water.
As I have constantly said you are the most unintelligent poster on here by some incredible margin.
This is what you do Slug.
You believe idiots.
And then either use them for evidence for what you say or against what you say.
You only believe idiots.
This makes you extremely unintelligent on every front.
Again more lies from our most unintelligent poster on here and the biggest loon.
I have a friend who is an Aston Martin nutter.
Knows the history and has owned some and is always talking about the future.
Also owns shares.
Not his greatest investment.
The electric car is being delayed, it's a joint venture with a company called lucid.
If you knew anything about EVs you would know who lucid were.
They are an incredible company, who have some of the best engineers in the world.
This is going to be an incredible piece of engineering when it's released.
Release date is 2027, but may be subject to a further delay.
As for electric cars they are selling more than ever and Toyota sells are declining.
Just in some countries that ev sales have declined, but as the industry says, this is just a glitch.
Again you prove yourself to be the most unintelligent poster on here.
I would really love you to post the link for the Toyota water powered car, as I am sure a lot of people would want one.
Still waiting.
You can tell it’s the weekend….. 💤
Interesting watch about the challenges as well as the potential for miners in Ecuador….. from about 7minutes in

I'm beginning to wonder if Stackhouse jumped the gun and should have bought in Toronto on FRIDAY...
Maybe this is why the tweet was rushed out...
But if he can buy so can all the other insiders...
They’re listening to their customers. The people want petrol cars. If you don’t make what people want, then they won’t buy them
How do you explain the latest car sales data in the U.K.? EV lost a percentage point market share and petrol/diesel vehicles surged to a 9% greater share
It’s really basic, all the subsidies have dried up and all the willy wavers who spent £120k on a Porsche taycan are now crying that a two year old one is worth only 40
Again Slug you show yourself to be the most unintelligent poster on here or as a Toyota salesman put it a complete loon.
Lots of car companies will continue to make ice vehicles, but they will all change over or die out.
That's the choice.
Also you don't seem to mention that last year ev sales went up on a worldwide basis.
Funny how you select stories to suit your world view, but then again maybe not as that's what unintelligent people do.
You’re making a white absurd assumption that net zero won’t die out first! 100% it will be kicked into the long grass and manufacturers will give consumers what they want. That’s simple supply and demand economics. Vanishingly few people want an electric car
The water engine is on Toyotas own website, are they laughing at their own colleagues work?! Guess how hydrogen is made to power things, go on….have a go!
Very simple post the link on Toyota's website.
You cannot because you are a liar.
If it's easy to find why doesn't DBW post it and prove me wrong.
Even he must know that you are a liar.
I think I understand how our most unintelligent poster on here is trying to pretend he never said Toyota has a car that runs on water.
He is slowly changing the outlook.
It was me that said water vapour is a by product of a hydrogen cell.
Now that is on Toyota's website.
But that's what I said.
Slug said they had a car that runs on water and they don't.
So sluggy you're not getting away with your fake news.
Afternoon all alot of knowledgeable posters on here unfortunately I'm not one of them although I hold a sizable holding and now with a tiny profit as added in the seven's question and quady who if im honest has turned out to be more right than wrong as others kept saying this would be all done and dusted a few years ago so are we going into production or are selling the assets as I'm totally lost what's going to happen in next 6 months
Good afternoon Steve, although I have never said production is certain, I have repeatedly said that the evidence shows we proceed towards production.
The same is true today.
Why do I think this?
Recently Solgold has announced that it is raising 3.2 billion to advance Cascabel.
To be fair it was the Ecuadorian government that announced this.
Just a few weeks before we took on two finance guys.
We wouldn't have done that if selling.
We seem to have some other activity on other tenements and we await announcements on what is happening.
The strategic review is open ended, but is progressing, one idiot on here doesn't believe that, but then again he is the most unintelligent poster on here.
So I reckon financing is the announcement we all await.
On a time scale. Still some time to go, as these things require time.
Very interesting tks DBW - what a beautiful country.
Mather & Solgold deserve full credit for keeping the locals & politicians on side, which as the commentator has stated (not suggested) is critical for a mining company to succeed in Ecuador.
"Recently Solgold has announced that it is raising 3.2 billion to advance Cascabel."
Can you provide a link to this transformational news? I must have missed it.
SharketMare what are you on about.
We were discussing this for over a week after the announcement by the Ecuadorian government.
Can you just point me to where Solgold announced that it's going to raise $3.2bn?
Ok everyone else knows this, but just for SharketMare.
https://www.miningfeeds.com/solgold-tsxsolg-announces-historic-3-2-billion-investment-in-cascabel-project-ecuador/
"Plans to invest" does not equal "plans to raise". Just as when we signed the first IPA with a spending commitment of $430m at Cascabel by end '23 (which we have not met), it didn't mean we planned to raise $430m.
Very different things.
