I wonder how he reaches the conclusion that 'BHP are very interested'?
As they are not a passive investor, and own 10% of the company
Wonder why they haven't corrected their dilution down from higher %?
Seems a bit passive.
Lol apart from the fact they have shown zero interest in the last 6 years and have been passive since their original investment.
Poor old byronrampybaygold, still as clueless as he was whilst ramping this in the 30s….he must be sittings so uncomfortable with such a high average
🤡🤣
BBG, it could be argued that because they have allowed themselves to be diluted they have become passive.
As much as I wish it did, this article provides no evidence to support the assertion.
Will we get a Wednesday wow in a few minutes !!!
Thanks for sharing schlemiel
“And that is also why investors across the globe are taking a much closer interest in just what this £288m capitalised group is doing”
“It (BHP) could well make an outright bid for the company.”
Padmaster. I must of missed the link that said worldwide investers are showing interest in solg.
I wonder if you could post it on here.
Otherwise I might think your posting the same wishful thinking you have fot the last 8 years.
Good to see you pop up chippy.
Nothing to add, but chip, chip, chip
Be careful, the big boys your trying to impress will smack your wrists again
Morning addicknt, I posted Schlemiel's post yesterday.
I thought it was interesting as it say's everything I have been saying for years.
We have a diverse book, as such BHP may not take up their options, but make a direct bid.
However as I have constantly said, production seems the most likely course, because an agreed bid, would have to offer full or near to full value.
If this is not the case then it's a hostile bid and we both know what that means.
I posted the story as I thought it was interesting.
However I still believe the next announcement of any value will be funding.
Hold tight massive interest building

Yes, I realised it was a repeat of your post and of course I'm fully aware of your production argument. Where we disagree is your reference to 'full value'. This is such a nebulous concept as to be completely irrelevant.
If there is a bid it will be an agreed deal which may, or may not, lead to other parties entering the fray.
I also believe that the revelation of a funding package doesn't necessarily imply we'll end up producing and there remain no circumstances in which I can see us it doing so on our own. It's just not going to happen.
I think a funding package would be part of Caldwell's strategy of providing a turnkey project for other parties who may, or may not, decide to leave the funding in place, or they can refinance the whole thing with their own resources, which I'm pretty sure any of the majors would do.
Not long now for all to be revealed.
The train will definitely be leaving single digit station today and departing for the teens station imminently
55p someday soon
Aw novice, so cute that you still get involved every day 🥰
Guessing you can't see level 2?
Thanks SH simple things …,
A new mode from Quady, rather than the gradual post pivot when he’s been proven wrong, he is now pre pivoting away from the fact it’s going to production and will be bought out
What a weasel!
Slug not only are you the weasel you once again post rubbish and prove yourself to be the most unintelligent poster on here.
Check my previous posts.
I have always said that the most likely course is that Solgold will take is to construction.
My thinking is this.
Because of the diverse book, anyone who bids for Solgold would not get agreement from enough parties involved with Solgold and thus inflate the price.
So a bid would be a hostile bid. Increasing the price.
If you had a functioning brain cell, you would understand my logic.
I posted the article because it said just that.
It talks about the only way to get Solgold is a full on bid.
Now let's say Solgold are talking to BHP.
Then we are not selling for anything less than close to full price, or indeed maybe at a premium.
However if we cannot obtain this.
Then we carry on with the next step, which is obtaining the funding, which I believe is happening in the background.
Everything I have said over the years is consistent with what Solgold has said.
However you, your lacky DBW and Redknight, have been wrong on countless occasions when you have all declared countless times that a bid is imminent.
You should really grow up and educate yourself on practically everything.
Solgold won't outperform bitcoin!
I don't know about that... Even when Bitcoin has dropped it has generally only lost 60% of its value. Solgold can outperform that- it can lose 75%!
No, you’ve always said listen to the company we are going to production
Want me to dig out all the times you’ve said it with my python script?
Spoke too soon Novice...
Now...I aint as clever as some on here but...
It seems to me that if somebody wanted tp hold down the SP they would simply programme the Autobots to sell at6 the lowest bid and buy at the lowest offer...
Because after all MMs are in it to make money and why wouldn't hety be delighted tp buy in stock at the cheapest price possible...
Oops...QED?
You’re right, you’re not. In fact quite the opposite, stupid, arrogant and misinformed
Easy, water engine... People in glass houses etc.
Aw, poor slug is clearly embarrassed again. He always falls back to the same tired lines when he is cornered. And in case anyone was in any doubt why he lives alone, he neatly demonstrates that he thinks calling someone female undermines them.
Anyway, a drop in SP today. One wonders where we'll be by Friday. Obviously novice thinks 13p+ (can novice think? That's a separate debate), but there's certainly no sign in the market of any belief that BHP or any other deep-pocketed institution is interested in Solg at the moment. To be very clear: if this was likely it would be price in to an extent that saw the SP over its current levels.
There there SH as long as you're happy that you are right and the rest of the world is wrong then crack on, but you do need to lose that spare tyre buddy 😘
