You're an imbecile Slug.
We are doing well but we are nowhere near leading the world.
Publish the link to the Dutch scientists.
You won't because you're lying again.
Agree mathers but without a world war we will be a long time dead before the dollar is not the worlds reserve currency
And you’ve just shown why you’re a prat Quady. The U.K. is the “world leader” in net zero and has the most oppressive (and unrealistic) targets. And it’s failing badly!
And for the triple crown of interesting news today, check the front page of the telegraph. Dutch scientists are claiming the vaccines are responsible for the millions of excess deaths in western nations since 2021 and want an inquiry as well as a pause of their use
Everything always comes exactly as I predict. Including a buyout of solgold (much!) sooner than you think!
1984,
You have your beliefs and I have mine, one of us will be right, we shall see

They’re refinancing Mathers
Totally agree printing will not end well but it’s some way off and it’s not out of step with the rest of the west. Don’t forget China is a manipulator of current a be debt too. To think it is only a US problem is naive
My personal hunch for what it’s worth is that there is a globalist coup to crash fiat and replace it with programmable digital money for ultimate control over the populace
This is why you are not only the most unintelligent poster on here, but a complete pratt.
The BBC article refers to the UK market, and is more to do with the UK economy.
The article I posted is about worldwide sales.
You really are a pratt.
1984,
Do your own research as you need to update your perspective, USA keeps printing money knowing they cannot pay it down, 34 trillion+ and going up all the time.
Why do you think so many countries are selling the bonds they held with the USA, why is USA offering better loan notes with higher interest rates because they know not many want them.
Gold is becoming the world's safety net to back countries own currencies, look at the gold being repatriated and gold buying for the last few years, do research you’ll be surprised

As a side note Quady, today the advertising standards agency forced the guardian to take down their article “Clean energy myths: is it really too expensive and not reliable” which was blatant pro net misery propaganda
The lying is being called out more and more. Even a few common garden idiots who i thought were beyond the pale are finally seeing a penny drop
T-bill demand still huge Mathers
The reserve currency will remain the dollar until a world war installs a new world order as happened previously with the guilder and the British pound
Dollars are accepted everywhere. Western countries are still the place to invest. Would you buy a property in China for investment knowing a basket case dictator could and would take it off you overnight?
That’s why the dollar will survive for some time yet
Here’s your own gospel, the bbc, even admitting it
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cnl745dg550o.amp
Also, 8 in 10 sales are fleet owing to the subsidies being handed out with our taxes
Like I said, rig the market all you like, you will never make people buy something they don’t want. And the vast majority of people in this country do not want one!
1984,
You are wrong about the dollar, it’s being dropped by many countries to deal direct using their own currencies. Another 30+ countries linning up to join Brics, so no dollar is not safe anymore as a safe bet.

As usual Slug talks rubbish.
EV sales and forecasts below.
I also see DBW was posting some gibberish today.
But that's no big surprise either, as Slugs acolyte.

Mathers don’t believe the anti US propaganda out there, demand for the greenback is stronger than ever
Canada cutting rates tomorrow. ECB Thursday. They’re starting realise
Most of the west back to 0% before you can say busted green flush
I called this all along, there are only so many Willy wavers who want an EV
Even with the market rigging that has gone on, you cannot make people buy something they don’t want
Ford have realised this. Toyota realises it. The intriguing part is are they trying to destroy China or are they trying to destroy the western car market? It’s one of the two
You’d have to be a compete and utter moron to think EVs will get anything over about 30% market share
You cannot ignore the transformation of the worlds so called order being turned on its head, the financial situation in USA is hitting it hard, family’s that where comfortable and secure a few years ago are now struggling even with the basic costs of life.
The Euro is not in a good place, Germany a leading light has dropped down big time, so all in all it’s not the same as it was. However, electrification is necessary and while keep moving on, we desperately need to clean the environment for many reasons, it comes at a cost and disruption to all, even the financial markets will take hits but its all part of life.
The USA are hurting bad do to the dedollarization by BRICS, but they shouldn’t have kept sanctioning everyone for anything, it has all turned and bit them on the backside, depended too long on on free money from the dollar reserve, abused its meaning and now paying the price, their answer is to promote wars to gain back control, ain’t going to work this time.
Well that’s my take on why the world is on a loose footing at the moment, you can’t ignore what’s happening as it affects all forms of finance, lets hope some sense comes back to all involved

You say it's obvious vehicle uptake isn't meeting expectations, but it depends what you've read. Lots of companies (GS and Deloitte for example) accurately predicted the current plateau. They suggested as early as 2017 that 2024/25 would be very slow, but that price drops in the coming 2 years will make EVs more mass market.
If they are right (and I trust them a bit more than the 'research' some on here fall for!) then there will be a significant period of low sales, before another ramp up.
I assume the author of this article wasn't paying attention at the PDAC conference. And I guess he's missed all the other favorable references to the project from various government sources.
In any case, how big will any copper supply gap be? Greening and especially transport was to be the great white hope. But Lithium is still bumping along the bottom, despite pundits’ hopes it would have started a recovery by now. It’s obvious that electric vehicle uptake, at least in the West, isn’t meeting expectations, and that will impact copper demand.
Even so, as one of the largest undeveloped copper (and almost as much gold) resources still out of the hands of the majors, the spotlight must still be on Solgold’s Cascabel project where I said something has to give, so the shares are up from 6p to 9.5p in three months. But they look stuck now as the interest the company says is being shown in acquiring or financing Cascabel grinds on. While the original block on the project – too high a capital cost and a shorter economic life than the 30 years the majors expect for a ‘tier one’ mine – has been partly remedied with a revised plan, there are still worries about the Ecuador central and local Government’s commitment to it. They would be foolish to turn down the economic benefits.

If a white supremacist hates you because you keep dismantling his nonsense, you're on the right side of history 👍
A thread started by the biggest twat to walk the planet? Must be a nice positive one then
All those 3% swings add up over the week.
I'm sure the big Boyz know, how to play it.
While others sit and wait on hopefully positive news .
Jeez …. It seems that way but can all change very quickly
I don't see much difference really, every day is a shi te day with SOLG isn't it ?
Nobody capable of bigger buys expecting any action here for a while. What happened to all of the positivity/certainty from posters earlier in the week? Where are they on a red day?
Shameful
“I will always be a better person than you !!”
Ha CMG …… not setting the bar very high there matey
