'84 , thanks.
The trades were reported the same day. As I've said previously, the Stock Exchange did record them as late trades on Thursday.
Indeed Quady, could be private transactions reported late though the rules are they’re meant to report same day
Addicknt off book are the trades on SETS marked OB as opposed to AT, these would ordinarily involve market makers/brokers. They are still reported automatically on SETS
Off exchange means not on SETS. We do get a few drifting in after hours quite often
BBG on sharepad at least the blocks slotted into the 4th April at around 1930. Think qs has the same data engine so you should see them there
I am not sure that Nick M can be credited with finding Cascabel , think that was Malcolm Norris but for sure he did put Solgold on the map and was instrumental in backing and raising finance when needed .. also in his defense I think he has been involved in many a company that he has helped develop , finance and then sell and whilst the interests in Ecuador are by far the biggest and most complex I think the change of guard came about because he is a bit of a stubborn old g*t and was not going to be bamboozled by the bigger guys ..but hey ho all history now and hopefully something positive soon
Don't tell needabrain
'84, is there a difference between what I said about them being off-book and your comment?
Thank you slug, so not traded on a main exchange.
That's interesting.
They're not showing on l2 via quotestream
The £1.5m blocks
They were off exchange code (XOFF) not DMA
Hi addicknt off book trades are DMA so not too relevant to were we are, just a trade between two parties.
Jerry always good to read a balanced post devoid of emotion just clearly stating how things are. Thanks.
A black swan event on new ISA day? Be quick Monday morning!
I agree Jerry, no 1 person has the skills set to lead a company through its various stages of growth. NM has proved himself as an Explorer. It is now up to Scott to prove that he his a deal maker and not just a person who only bangs on about the rocks. He has until the 2024 agm prove himself.
Get over yourself BBG. This BB is a forum where folks debate. Last time I checked, you weren't designed as the moderator here. You boast about how many shares you own. What difference does that make to the price of fish? Your ego is boundless!! Scott hasn't made a good impression on me, yet I accept that other posters will have a different perception of the man. I don't resort to abusing others who doesn't share my view of Scott. Be humble BBG. Be gracious. No one likes a braggart 😆
Eloro, maybe NM was the right person for that time. Exploring, promoting and teasing shareholders. But I really don’t think he could do the work required atm.
Of course the market was different a few years ago. Since then miners and particularly explorers have been trashed. But there is definitely the start of an uptick in interest and it’s quite possible that “the market” will take this back to say 20p before the fun starts. Let’s hope so.
Thank you for your thoughtful response Jerry, much appreciated. I guess I have some appreciation of NM because he found the deposit and placed us on the map. Plus, the SP wasn't this bad under his watch from the time I bought solg. Plus, he knew what to say to keep the market interested.
My biggest worry with Scott is that he will drop the ball and we will end up missing the commodity bull Market! If he can deliver this year, then he would have redeemed himself in my eyes.
Exactly FTJNY, look at the rats scramble...
The question is - why do these plebs sit around all day criticising shareholders and discussing off subject topics such as climate change etc.
The answer is because they want the attention being taken off the fact that 238m shares has been traded in the last 20 sessions and new is imminent re funding and permitting progression. 238m shares!!!!!
The rats want to throw cold water on any discussing re productive or positive outlook re Solgold. Look at Quady - he instantly throws water on any takeover discussion. Look at Eloro, the muppet still calls scott caldwell a nuffy which I find quite astonishing considering how many hurdles and progression Scott has achieved in 12 months.
Scott Caldwell has achieved more in the last 12 months as our ceo than all of needalife's pseudo will ever achieve in their lifetime.
Needalife got a little bashed this morning and up pops one of his cheerleaders from PREM. You couldn't make this up. Its hilarious.
Eloro, good morning. I would like to underscore what Add has said on the subject of the CEO. NM is a geologist and an explorer, he most certainly isn’t Ceo material. He has no eye for detail nor all the work needed to take an explorer to a position where the company adds any value and is saleable. Having spent 30 mins with NM and Moller, albeit some years ago, it told me that I could neither trust the bloke nor believe in his vision. I thought him a p&d merchant. I should have sold up then, but greed got the better of me.
I think most can agree that DC was a complete and utter disaster, and galling to think we had to pay him £2m just to be shot.
SC inherited an appalling situation, where we had no money, couldn’t raise any, but had to advance projects to the point where someone might actually want to own all or part. He is ticking off the boxes as fast as he can but getting permits isn’t a five minute job. The team pulling the strings now is completely aligned with most shareholders (barring Quady) and is engaging with our major partners and potential buyers, not upsetting them as NM used to.
The sp fall on SC watch is partly because no one knew how bad the situation was, partly cos we had no money and partly cos the overall mining sector has been dire and junior explorers were worse than dire.
With the metal in the ground having a surface value of about $150billion, I would expect there to be a higher level of interest now that potential buyers are no longer in the most hated sector and will start to have a currency that can make investments.
Is SC the best ceo around? Absolutely not. Is he getting things done to make us saleable/investable in a way that NM could never do? Absolutely.
I added significantly to my holding in the mid 6s when I watched the SC interview. I think I can trust him a lot more than NM and am relatively happy to watch it all unfold.
Add you're probably right.
BBG binned me for being a de-ramper so I guess that tells you something.
You invented some great stories in your previous incarnation. Classics of their genre.
Has had a great rally this month, and continues its journey towards $2500 an ounce, SOLGOLD asset value keeps on increasing!!! the longer they delay the Bids? the higher the value, imo
Is porky pies CRS for lies? If so, I'm in the clear thanks.
Interesting that you think bbg was lying. I just though he was thick as treacle. Why do you think he lies?
HfH, they were recorded on the Stock Exchange page on Thursday. And I'm not sure how they could be connected to a finance package.
Cheers HfH, don't feel bad. I am a Muppet which is way beneath a Clown 😆
Bob labelled DC a clown over funding issues. Hence. I cannot see him making the same mistake.
Eloro as the trades were only declared late last night I've no idea. If I were to guess I'd say they weren't just market shenanigans but more likely to be connected to a finance deal which is expected to bolster SOLGs balance sheet. Hopefully find out more next week when certain people are back in Quito, allegedly..I'm guessing. What a clown I am.
SH, it's not as if you've never told any porkies, is it? Mind you, at least yours made me laugh.
