impala in talks to acquire royal bakofeng, creating plat giant
possibly helping us firm while ex div
she should be strong .....The dip was totally expected ex div, but I expect alot more from SLP what a cash cow .... when is that special dividend announced?
To put it in context, cash position in 2020 55.7m, 2021 107m, 1st quarter 2022 130m + ca 50m receivables.
That special Divi will be interesting.
So, who wants to cash-adjust the EV on this one? Do it.
Insanely ridiculous.
That's a strong looking SP if you ask me - today being what it is :)
EggScotch
Yup. That's what it means.
R I D I C O L O U S
64% of the time you're right, every time? Got you :)
Cheddar. Even when I'm wrong, I'm right :)
Luna - are Liberium saying SLP are owed c50million?
According to Liberum "The company still sits on another c.$50m of trade receivables."
I am now adding ridiculous to the earlier insane.
Hi stoodio
I certainly hope you're right on points 2-4, and can't disagree with the others.
Updated cash balance won't be available until late Jan though, here's hoping for somewhere in that tasty spread!
OK. Shakeout passed. Profit taking passed. Golden cross coming. Its looking good for a breakout out of current base any day now.
Loggy :)
"Money Mayweather - pound for pound best fighter."
Does that goes along with other money phrases
"Make Haye while the sun shines"
"Money Khant by you happiness"
and, erm, "The Eubank that like to say yes"
Money Mayweather - pound for pound best fighter.
Luna - insane would be the key word. I expect this to bounce hard back towards something resembling 'cheap' in the £1.20 region soon.
“Mayweather of resource stocks” surely you meant bellweather??
Obviously a boxing fan or have you invented a new analogy
Jut look at the increase of the cash position this quarter. Insane.
I also would not be surprised one bit if we had a 10%+ day at some point within the next 4 weeks.
That's why we have banter boards boy.
Happy to fall on the sword.
I think your timelines are optimistic, but I'm happy to be proven wrong.
Hi Cheddar,
The catalyst? Simples.
1. Another $30 million banked. End of year cash balance what? $150-$170 million? You're having a giraffe :)
2. Global chip shortage straightening itself out. Global Foundries are a client of mine in the branding space :)
3. Car production and sales / demand picking up heavily. There's an untold amount of pent up demand for new vehicles due to global accrued savings due to covid. Cars are literally flying out of the showrooms all over the middle east, for example.
4. A sustained, continued rise in the price of PGMs. IMO.
5. The SLP story reads like a good quality jazz mag - balance sheet gold standard and we're cheap. Predatory interest? Internal interest? Taken private?
6. Not matter the price of PGMs (to a point) we print money and ain't owe nobody nuttin - the holy grail of business. And I've run a few...
7. Savvy PI's and the PR machine synching up further, encouraging more and more interest in this gold standard company that takes top spot on AIM (and quite frankly is the Mayweather of resource stocks - pound for pound one of the best companies across all indices?)
8. Read 1 through 7 again.
9. Read 8 again.
10. Yes, we're a perfect 10 :)
@stoodio
NYE not far away now (scarily)........what do you see as being the catalyst to your nailed-on 140 ?
So the divi should be approx $15m, which I believe still leaves cash at around 30% of market cap, and that's without taking October into account.
Lovely stuff.
Well today was a whole lotta fun! To a freakin' "t" !!!
IYKYK.
December 31st ladies.... :)
A third of market cap then is cash.
(For the benefit of any idiots who spend time trawling through my posts (Christ have you got nothing better to do?? get a fkn life) get this, things change lol but as of today, that is the position.)
