Any buyer of Shell's assets will also need to show it can deal with future damage to the oil infrastructure which has ravaged Nigeria's Delta in recent years, the sources said
and btw u2 Naibob. no need to reply.
and caniscorpus is also a fake - you agree Naibob?
Alaric - the ‘fake one’, as you put it, does not warrant mention in this thread IMO. I was only hoping to address the reasoned debate which I believe you too purport to champion. His nonsense, whilst on occasion mildly amusing, can, I believe, be seen clearly as just that.
I honestly haven’t visited the other board in ages, the reformatting was enough to confuse and old technophobe like me, but I thank you for the steer and will hold one’s nose and pay it a revisit.
Ps - I couldn’t use the BS acronym for Blackswan for fear of awakening the ghost of Brother Seven…
maybe i didn't express myself clearly enough, Naibob, but i'm not out for approbation of my honourable intentions. people who have read me over time can decide for themselves. so sorry to disappoint but no introspection about 'outbursts' or otherwise. CJ is a self admitted non holder here with a long record of trolling on this board and as for poor BS who's to know? they both have strange ideas and keep bad company. talking of which i note you didn't mention the fake one - anything i need to be aware of? btw the other board is much cleaned up now and better than this one but i think you already know that.
Nairobi, nice of you to post, I too have only been posting a short time but in that time I have read up on these trolls you seem to give time to both here and the other side .
And I can honestly say that how can anyone give a poster any cred if they hold no interest except total misleading contributions 100% of their postings.
Some of these trolls have actively sort to find investors and others have issued death threats, they are all on the other side to be read, so I take Alarics point, those invested with their hard earned should be hard on these people who are actively out to damage their investment/s.
Cj does not hold neither do afumi but every post of theirs are full of misleading information out to deceive.cj I fact lost on vec but posts nothing of the crop he posts here.. strange eh!!
Sadly Alaric I do and I readily admit this board has become a far more pleasant and informed place of worship since those dark ol’ days (The other board I long since gave up following as life is too short)
I wish not to engage in a prolonged exchange as that is precisely what I believe avoiding will benefit all concerned however, and speaking freely now I’ve popped my head above the parapet, if your intentions to create a space for free debate are as honourable as you decry then maybe a certain introspective viewing of your own outbursts of late, viewed objectively, may aid that worthy goal…? I personally believe the posts of CJ and Blackswan, for example, add to this discourse yet you shout them down. For an unwitting bystander it could be levied that it is you sir that has nefarious ends, not my view mind as I am the eternal optimist who only sees the best in people!
I will leave it there and retreat back into my comfy armchair hoping that OF and his grand African adventure pay the dividends most of us seek and help repay some of the historic damage LTHs have suffered whilst backing SLE on this glorified AIM casino we all love so much! Felicitations one and all
trouble is Naibob, you possibly don't remember when this board and the other one were completely dominated by troll posting. i don't recall seeing your name before (i make no point about that) but i and a few others were successful in cleaning up the other board (which had btw become completely toxic) and, whilst this board is better, it remains work in progress. a bit vigilante i suppose but believe me my intention is to help create a forum where there is proper discussion pro and ante. i am obviously pro and back that up with my money and stated reasoning and, if allowed, free discussion of that. as you can see, the trolls are utterly cynical barely making any pretence to cover their true aims. so while some may occasionally get caught in the crossfire unintentionally, that won't i'm afraid stop me. people should speak up more as it gets quite lonely at times but i have easily enough support here to know that the effort is worthwhile. yer pays yer money...
Wow, and to wonder why other people don’t ask innocent questions that hopefully the greater* body of LTHs, and indeed market players (less we forget the markets, and by default these message boards, aren’t just for those who want a stock to rise for long term gain) can provide opinion and/or answers.
Alaric - you do mainly provide sense in your responses but FGS man drop the smug, verging on snide, reposts.
I am a long term holder, and I am sure there are many more on the sidelines who choose not to post publicly, who welcome reasoned debate. However the so-called rampers on this board have slid into no more than petty name calling and past history reverse trolling. Pathetic
'While I appreciate the efforts of those who tried to help me on this board, I'm afraid I still do not understand this over complex company re-organisation.'
unfortunately caniscorpus you failed to mention your appreciation before to what were consummate answers. that you still fail to comprehend them, in the context of what is and will continue to be quite a complex structure operating in Nigeria and listed on AIM (for now anyway), is more an indication that you shouldn't be invested here in the first place than your veiled insinuation that there might be something afoot with Eroton (whom you may have read just completed a $750m financing with Afreximbank). another long sentence i know and it may be that you are just collateral damage in a troll infested board but there is low tolerance here for people who ask dumbass questions, particularly when they don't acknowledge complete responses posted by their betters
While I appreciate the efforts of those who tried to help me on this board, I'm afraid I still do not understand this over complex company re-organisation. The message I am getting is that don't worry all will be OK once we have our increased stake in Eroton and OML 18. We are always told DYOR so I looked up Eroton's website. All I find is boasts that production has been boosted sixfold. There are no published accounts. Where is the evidence of the current revenues one would expect? I realise these comments will excite the members of the Caniscorpus knockers club of which Alaric seems to be a prominent member. Let's hear more as such comments always give me a laugh and we all need a bit of humour these days.
indeed, this shower share one major attribute - they have more sore toes between them than the now extinct greater sore-toed millipede (mind quite good fun going out of one's way to tread on them :-)). hopefully most here now understand the AIM rules on reverse takeover that require trading in San Leon shares to be suspended. if this RTO happens as I believe it will, it will be the single most value accretive event for the company since Oisin put us into OML18 with huge support from Martin Hughes in 2016. aside from anything else it will imo coincide with the opening of the new dedicated ACOES at a time when the likes of JP Morgan and Goldmans are predicting an era of $100++ oil. it is little wonder the trolls are desperately insinuating negatively at every turn - i'd be worried in their shoes ha ha.
dont try paint me black samalarik. evryone now i not shareholdur you fool. i tell them. i lern how to trade the red lion because i notice over two year thats what it good for.

this uncertainty in turn impacts the value of the Group’s investment in MLPL and the recoverability of the Group and Company’s loans due from MLPL. The consequences of the significant uncertainty in relation to the Group and Company’s Loan Notes due from MLPL, impact on the Group and Company’s assessment of their ability to continue as a going concern.
fact 2
this was shouted down by rampurs
uncertainty relating to valuation of investment in and Loan Notes from Midwestern Leon Petroleum Limited (“MLPL”) We draw attention to note 13(i) and 17(i) to the financial statements concerning the uncertainty associated with the assessment of the Group’s investment in and related Loan Notes due from MLPL. The Group’s investment in and related Loan Notes due from MLPL are underpinned by the OML 18 oil field in Nigeria. Notwithstanding the performance of the Loan Notes in the year, there remains significant uncertainty in relation to the quantum and timing of future cash flows,

Afamefuna - Yes and we shouldn't forget those bully posters who in the main are given to rather lengthy posts overlaid with sarcasm and elements of narcism.
cometh the hour...
'Further to the announcement on 1 December 2021, San Leon has agreed with MLPL, Midwestern and Martwestern (as defined below) to a further extension of the Conditional Payment Waiver to 31 January 2022 or, if sooner, the termination of discussions or the signing of an agreement to effect the Potential Transaction...
As at 31 December 2021, the Extended Conditional Payment Waiver relates to US$99.3 million, being a principal amount due of US$82.2 million and total accrued interest due of US$17.1 million, which will be payable 90 days after such expiry, save for, inter alia, if there is an event of default.'
hilarious how you guys never debate on the facts, let alone attempt to refute them. it's difficult i guess as the facts do rather speak for themselves?
Where's Echo?
ah there you are again, junkie, with your not so bons mots. since you're on the wires, do you remember your prediction that Sun Trust would bring San Leon down? it was all to do with the assignor of their shares having to give notice of assignment and you got terribly muddled up and thought San Leon was the assignor and had guffed up. it was all very funny as it turned out it was you who had guffed up, since of course San Leon were the assignee. how we all laughed and here we all are still with San Leon still in business, no debt, money in hand with hugely valuable assets in the Niger Delta. on reflection now, junkie, honestly do you feel a bit of a chump?
Narcissus and Echo
as usual Sam, more blah blah but no substance and looks like dogsbody has scarpered. as i thought - another complete waste of space.
