Who sponsors the American ADR ? And why
"... a fair price would be about £6.60 a share."
Looks like a decent view.. Thoughts?
I'm holding. Sold out just enough once it hit 350 to get back my initial investment at 90p but kept the rest invested. I think £5+ is quite realistic once dividends get going again.

Can we push a vote for a listing on American’s Primary Exchange. Why not do this and that
London now listen America hit 5$ and closed. Mutual and the 5$ Threshold has been hit. If it wasn’t for American Liquidity your ARM PLC would not be triple digit billion cap by now, This is an easy 50-60 Billion Cap without Dividends even on the FTSE exchange primarily. The namesake alone is a buy to the retail market
So like Volta Trucks then?
It’s been in work for at least 4 years. It’s not got the market size to cover the costs of a new engine development programme, so they will have to use existing product, it suggests it would exclusively be one supplier and four engines per aircraft. Needs to be over powered to land and take off from shorter, temporary type runways… Just try to conceive the size of it compared to the 747 shown on the website!
LOL
I read about this.
Has it produced anything yet? Or is it another scheme to get investment whilst producing nothing?
Honest question.
So who is going to power this beast?

The immediate common sense question for anyone invested or not is:
“What’s happening to narrow body aircraft at the moment?”
The recent talk of IAG booming has been held back due to Boeing/GE issues.
RR at their CMD suggested a re-entry to narrow body aircraft in the mid term.
So we have a whistleblower who died prior to giving evidence, talk of substandard parts being used to “speed things up”, and a therefore a massive opportunity for Airbus/RR to get the contracts as they next appear.
Boeing is dying. Once IAG recognise the potential input from RR, it becomes another game changer for RR shareholders.
Now I’m a cat. I either lick my balls, or pretend I’m dead in front of a lovely fire.
I’m sure you guys could have worked that out yourselves?
There used to be a saying in the nineties that every time RR won an engine bid over GE they just made more light bulbs to gain back the loss!
GE GENERALLY EVERYTHING
Lloyds? Never. They’ve got a huge equivalent to the PPI scandal coming up where they offered finance for cars.
EasyJet? No. I don’t like the business model.
Ryanair? Absolutely no way. Far too diluted.
I do get your point about the fact that holdings in the same sector shouldn’t be a bad thing but in my humble opinion, with what RR gains in years to come, GE will suffer from it.
So why hold both?
I agree retirement, only have a lowly 911 Carrera 2010 vintage but love it, brings a little bit of happiness every time I turn the key, unfortunately my gains will pay off the mortgage first and fun second 🙃
I hold around 18 shares in my Pawtfolio, all rather diverse.
I personally wouldn’t entertain GE, but that’s my personal opinion.
Hope that helps.
Never been into Porsche's, I got ripped off (only time) once by a clown who loved Porsche convertible's, so I always hated them lol.
But I would look daft in one, being 6.3 tall and gorgeous looking.
I have 3 Porkers so will be staying to see my £4.20 targets come August.
I might buy a GT4 RS next week to add to the fleet now it's track day season.
Never talked about a £4 target !
What can I say I like Porsche's and how they drive after owning 100+ cars now, Porsche imo make the best cars.
One thing the Yanks have over Brits is promotion and the Brits could use a little more of that.
Speaking from my home base at the Vancouver stock exchange.
I'm not sure you'll have many RR holders also holding GE though mate.
History suggests the ability for RR to overtake GE very soon (yes, I know it's GE is 185bln MCap) but that really is the case.
''Looking likely £4.20 will be hit next week''.
That will be so so sweet.
"GO RAMP ELSEWHERE!"
Always good to see what the 'competition' is doing but we (RR) have a golden opportunity here to pick up the spare parts.
We just need the cogs in Tufan's machine to realise his expectations.
No thanks.
Remain on track for closing out this week with 20 higher closing lows and the combined average estimate from analysts is £ 413.13 only 20p away could be jumping up there by easter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzYplxl_RAc
