Imagine for a moment you are head of an NHS Trust. You are given two choices for PPE regarding masks. One is a 3 ply mask which is essentially paper which has limited protection and collects the virus verses one which is 4ply and kills the virus....which one are you going to choose?
True, but what do you do with the billions of masks that the NHS already has in stock and is contracted to buy ?
Erm let me think about that;)
Took me a nano second that:)
Hail Emperor Cave.
Mr Merlot, short term view. Long term what would you choose when you need to refresh supplies, next outbreak etc etc ?
So you think the NHS have only signed mask contracts for the next 3 months.....ha ha ha
They will have signed a multi-year contract in all likelihood as to not risk future supplies.
The party is over, contracts are signed, everyone has gone home to make their masks and RMS have just arrived and walked through the door to an empty hall.
Agreed , just asking the question as NHS cannot just bin and replace billions of surgical masks in NHS stock and in the pipeline - people have to be realistic
Talkingsense, going by your name I thought you may have done better than that!! Masks have a reasonable shelf life don’t they? They could be left in the cupboards for now. I would think if news really got around the wards how effective these masks are and staff were told old stock had to be used first! There would be union involvement purely on safety concerns do you not concur?
Hahaha talkingsence, these shares are now going to sticky hands, new investors are buying in. Just globally licensing this technology is worth sp over 20p. The sp will not drop to these levels again. Save my post.
Do we all agree that testing is the way forward if you can get a test in seconds? OR do you feel a mask is better? Even in USA they have started to relax rules for wearing masks. It is all rapid testing now.
You decide but in my view governments would pay 100s of millions for very rapid sensitive tests. Valuation is high in my opinion. Think about contracts you have right now and how much profit are you hoping for 100s of millions?
poorinvestor…...no the masks will be constantly replenished by the new masks provided my the manufacturers who already have the multi year contracts.
there is no evidence or proof that there is a sniff of a NHS or other major contract....happy for a link to evidence to be posted to prove me wrong.
All the company has confirmed is discussions with interested parties...which to be honest is what every sales team in the world has..does not mean large orders are imminent
UXM, all three will be required to beat the virus. Testing, vaccines and masks so get back to your window licking on another board, tatty bye:)
Uxm484, so I can get on a plane or a train with out a mask?
I will take a punt in BRH when it drops to 20p.
Talkingnonsense, dont be a silly boy. NHS can never change supplier for a superior product then! doh, grow up man.
vee haf a sined contract and u canz never leavez us ! ve vill shoot you.
poorinvestor….£100 charity bet that this drops below 1.5p and not up to 10p (I'll give you 50% discount on your 20p).
Save this post and get your money ready.
Talking sense. How can you put 'They will and in the same sentence 'likelihood'?
As for contracts being signed, bear in mind that should a superior product become available the NHS to maintain its high standard will seek to improve the quality of RPE. Would you be happy with the taxes you pay towards the upkeep of the NHS be happy with them using inferior protective masks, especially with regards to any surgical, oncology or any other type of hospital care when there are far more effective masks available?
I would guess you answer would be, no. Contracts will have get out clauses for the NHS.
Regards
I agree with the fact it’s not just down to one solution. The fact that you can take a test and it would reveal wether you have Covid or not just highlights wearing a mask would help prevent contacting it in the first place!
I’m happy to see all investors succeed but please don’t spread negativity in a world that’s got too much of it right now.
All the best to RMS holders.
Talkingsense
Wtf are you here for?? Sad.... you like a child in a playground. Lol WTF ...embarrassing
We are on talkingsence, just to add BRH is quickly getting to 20p. You know what, I’m visiting BRH board again later this afternoon.
Talkingsense, at the end of the day the NHS pride themselves on safety and professionalism. If the staff got wind of these masks and told to carry on with old stock there would be union involvement and a media frenzy on the grounds of safety. Testing, vaccines and the Pro-Larva masks should do a pretty good job of ridding COVID!!
this guy must be a TB a s s licker and now realises his boss is screwing him over at BRH amd he is loosing his shirt like the rest of them - what a shame but what goes around comes around- instead he comes to RMS site to off load his woes - what sad sad person
Hi sadolgit, Hope you are well
I want a cost effective and reliable mask that meets the required safety levels to protect NHS staff (I'm guessing the existing mask are not substandard ...that would be a scandal!).
I would want these provided by a company with a track record of reliable delivery of high quantity mask orders and at a greatly reduced cost to retail......these criteria will have already been met in the current suppliers.
Why would I change form my current reliable manufacturer to a company that is 3/4 months behind on producing A mask?
3 or 4 years down the line if the mask has been reliably produced and the cost to the NHS is very minimal per mask they may have a shot....but the NHS will not swap for an upstart company at this point.
All I asked was what did people think about short term NHS existing stock and orders - its like Blur and Oasis all over again one here !
Surely all that is needed if the anti viral mask is approved by the NHS is that any future contracts/supplies will be specified to include either P2F or equivalent licensed anti viral layer regardless of mask manufacturer
MI35i. What are you on about 'like a child in a playground'?
You spend all your time watching children in playgrounds? LOL
Mr Merlot, when you throw in the hand grenade, expect an explosion:)
