Jackg...Did you get a reply to your email ?
Currently ahead of schedule, sailing through the Straight of Mallaca, due in Singapore on Saturday, should be at dry dock location the weekend after.
Lol I know, I hate it when they say that in financial services.
Past history is no indicator of future performance......err yes it is.
Yes Let's hope you are spot on with your timing but history goes towards absolutely nothing material being announced.
MacF1
Lets hope you are spot on with your purchase timings
I’m certainly hoping for some more good news next week. There is still one more week of Q1 to go, so fingers crossed!
I’ve had a little too up today. The 1m and 500k trades at 1.54p are both mine.
Seems cheap!
“Get the salt and pepper ready and your hats on standby LOL!
Absolutely shameless. Rubbing salt into the KSA wounds more like!
Only time will tell.
I'm sure Saudi will be back in the game once they get the trial data from Morocco and Morocco goes to commercial supply.
Get the salt and pepper ready and your hats on standby LOL!
Q123 is not far from over and it looks like we move all project milestones into Q223. This will be the 7th consecutive qtr they have been pushed into the next qtr.. We will get updates in the results next week but looks like no material news.
The only good news is that MSC Leandra arrives in Singapore this weekend and after a short stay she is off to china for dry docking.
...to all our friends in Morocco!
Let's hope they're kicking off the festivities having completed a successful trial and safe in the knowledge they'll soon all be breathing cleaner air.
Thats what QFI does to you matey, makes you bored.
Got as far as reading the top two posts, got bored and thought to myself its morns day again. Will try again tomorrow.
More chance of QFI keeping to a timeline - Oh no sorry went too far with that one, it's impossible.
"More chance of winning the lottery then anything from Saudi"
The e is more chance of Frank Bruno making a comeback and becoming world champion.
"To them, QFI “savings” amount to small change left at the bar."
That's not entirely true but the way things are run in Saudi and the Gulf and actually lots of other autocracies is weird and not really profit motivated. Along with their MRE food pack, Emirati soldiers are given a sticky and impractical bag of dates and I can just imagine some sheikh sticking his beak in and telling an expert "we have lots of dates, give them dates" and no one can answer back with "that's really expensive" or "that doesn't fit the nutritional profile and they're too heavy and sticky and inefficient". So now they all have a bag of dates every day, rain or shine. That's why getting things done is so hard. There's a massive risk if you fail and absolutely no risk if you don't try.
"More chance of winning the lottery then anything from Saudi"
Agreed. And it's the type of companies and countries that make up the great bulk of our eventual clients that is the primary reason for our long history of failure.
“And Government overhaul might get them seriously wanting the savings afforded by MSAR and bioMSAR.”
Ramping pants in full flow now! There’s absolutely nothing to suggest the Saudis are the least bit interested in QFI. They just posted their largest profits ever. To them, QFI “savings” amount to small change left at the bar.

P S
And Government overhaul might get them seriously wanting the savings afforded by MSAR and bioMSAR.
I just picked this up from today's KEFI RNS (not something I hold, just have them on a watchlist).
"SAUDI ARABIA
Despite making two significant discoveries in Saudi Arabia since entering the country in 2008, our progress has only progressed rapidly in the past 18 months as a result of Saudi Arabian Government regulatory overhauls. The country's prospectivity for further discovery is widely recognised and the international industry is mobilising at the invitation of the Government."
Perhaps Saudi will soon progress rapidly for QFI? Cutting Government red tape would certainly help with that.
As per that list, there's other sources of low Sulphur Crude.
As per Edison Research:
"As the amount of sulphur in MSAR depends on the composition of the residue, MSAR is potentially available in both high and low sulphur variants."
https://www.edisongroup.com/research/cleaner-fuel-cleaner-planet/30256/
I'd say it's more about availability of that low Sulphur Crude or it's residue.
Lowest Sulphur crude oil sources:

Correct, it wasn’t.
Orimulsion 2.7%.
"As with coal or oil, there are a number of trace elements which influence its environmental impact: e.g. sulphur 2.7%, vanadium 300 mg/ kg, nickel 65 mg/kg."
