The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
They’ve nowhere to hide really. The vessel will be ready for LONO soon, that just leaves fuel supply for trials to commence.
If they can’t get a deal in place over the next 4/6 months then I’d question if they ever will.
I think they will do it, but more likely to be a later announcement than earlier for reasons we won’t know. My hope is that we have it done and trials underway or close to it by agm time. That and a Morocco commercial contract in place would be a welcome change of atmosphere at the meeting and beyond.
We were all right about the direction of the SP, that’s everyone else’s point. You don’t need a chart to read what’s happening if there’s no news, thats what makes you the idiot you are. You said 1p and it’s still relatively a long way from that point, so you’re wrong. If it ever hits 1p, come back and tell us you were right, until then you’re still, wrong.
“The company has the clearest view,…”
Completely agree which is why I quoted from the interim report. If you don’t take cognisance of what it says simply because you don’t like it or dont want to believe it, we’ll that’s a different matter. Head in the sands stuff!
From the interims “outlook” section.
“Quadrise expects to complete the site trial in Morocco, conclude a Licence Agreement with Valkor, complete a HAZOP for marine bioMSAR™ use and progress tripartite discussions with MSC and a feedstock supplier during Q2 2023.”
It’s clear to me at least, that in the above sentence Jason is saying he expects to complete Morocco trial, Utah licence agreement and Hazop assessment during Q2, but will only progress discussions around the fuel supply and manufacture.
So, if you take what Jason says at face value, it’s Q3 earliest for a tripartite agreement. That could be July or as easily September or beyond, then factor in production setup and commissioning, also QED habit of taking way longer than first thought, and you can see why late Q4 is a very reasonable prediction of fuel availability.
Do I want fuel available in Q2 for Leandra? Hell yes, but what I want has nothing to do with what’s actually happening on the ground!
“I was merely picking you up on making a "statement of fact" rather than a hypothesis.”
I did not state in my post that what I said was “fact”, I leave that rubbish to HF14.
I honestly didn’t think I had to spell it out to you, fuel supply IS many months away. Jason has already told us that in the interims, you just have to read what he says, it’s there as I explained earlier. You might not want to believe it but that’s up to the reader.
How many months it ends up taking is an open question. I expressed my opinion that it would “probably” end up in late Q4.
You don’t think it’s obvious Wonga?
Jason told the market that “discussions would continue during Q2” with fuel suppliers (interim update in March), at the same time he expects other areas (Morocco trial, Utah agreement) to be completed in Q2. Jason makes the distinction between discussions continuing and what’s expected to conclude in Q2.
That makes Q3 earliest possible period for agreements to be signed. From there you have planning approvals/logistical arrangements to produce the fuel, commissioning and testing. We are then “probably” into Q4 before supply is in place for PoC then LONO.
What part of the above is unreasonable based on Jason’s own statements, our knowledge of what’s required to set up production and QED history of never getting anything done on time let alone early. If first fuel is available in September (which I very much doubt) I’d describe that as “many months” from now, wouldn’t you?
What’s your version of it Wonga? Surely not Haggis’s waffle about fuel supplied to the dockyard in China?
Have you challenged them at an AGM HF14? Didn’t think so. Probably another scenario where you thought “someone else” was going to do it.
I guarantee when/if we get positive news, you’ll be up there shouting about how great things are looking.
I understand the frustrations we all feel, but your posts are simply boring HF, they offer nothing that hasn’t been spewed out a 100 times. Be original, shock me and say something intelligent.
Not a great history for sure, and any further delay would be shambolic tbh. Can only hope the trial has started/completed and news of progress awaited.
I didnt expect confirmation of trial start, it’s just not how QED have operated.
The role of this new broker is to access funds from within the ESG sector, and you know that too Haggis.
To quote a knowledgeable poster I know, “If Jason sh*t on Haggis’ head he’d say it was good news”. I tend to agree with his assessment.
“OCP must be very interested in bioMSAR.”
There is zero evidence to support this statement.
OCP have, for the past 3 years, insisted their name is not publicly linked to QFI trials in Morocco. Hardly an indication of excitement or interest for that matter.
British Bulls? Why do you care if you’re long term and never sell any shares? What possible interest can you have in their advice?
