What a contract will be “worth” depends entirely on the volumes of fuel.
Given the changes required to roll out our fuel, new fuel pumps and engineering works, it’s pretty obvious it’s a staged process, ie a few vessels at a time.
My guess is that, based on a successful lono, MSC agree to run a modest number of vessels on biomsar, maybe 10 maximum. Not a massive contract but very significant to us as a company.
The real prize is the least discussed, MSAR! It may be they can expedite an msar lono due to the existing interim lono with Maersk. Time will tell but the process with MSC will be gradual not massive overnight.
