Probably the fact they shouldn’t have sold their QFI stock.
They’ve either sold out or halted their selling and retained some below 3% level to hedge their bets longer term.

It would only require comment from the company if there were no reason for the sudden rise in SP.
A cursory examination of the circumstances would suggest there is ample reason for the SP to rerate given recent news, PR and the ii investors stopping their fire sale.

I think we’re safe from such an announcement until well over 5p I should think but even then I doubt it would come.

Your always up against QFI elastic timelines, but if they deliver the two main projects even close to schedule, then this time next year the share price could be anywhere tbh depending on how the market views MSC and their desire to use our fuels.
A huge factor for me is whether, or not, they can begin a second lono for msar on another vessel. This will expedite potential fuel sales way beyond what biomsar can provide in the short to medium term.

Truly is an exciting period now for QFI, long overdue.

If it wasn’t a f*ck up, why did they need to “learn lessons”?

They’ve obviously done something that could've been done better or didn’t do something they should have done. Weeks were lost in this process and it’s pretty clear QFI are accepting much of the responsibility for it. Why that is so is unclear and only they can explain, but if they say they needed to learn lessons after what happened, then I believe their account rather than the version spouted below by Rampy McRampface.

In what way was it “crucial” and how do you think it’s been addressed by your comment?

It’s a dreadful market right now so I can’t see the SP doing what it did before. I do expect decent rises on confirmed commercial contracts, the huge speculative surges may well be a thing of the past. More likely to get steady incremental growth over the next year or so, but who knows for sure, just get over the line in Morocco and get lono going and we shall see what comes of it.

Very encouraging IMC this morning, seems like it’s set up to be delivered now, with Marine set to expand into billers hopefully.

Morocco also looks like expanding into a third site if all goes well. Should improve the economics for us.

Lightjaw my post was not directed at you in particular. There is a small core of posters who wake up every day and repeat the same whinging points. They seem to think they have the monopoly in frustration, or that regardless what anyone thinks, you will listen to my cr*p everyday.
We all have a moan about QFI now and again, but some of it is just for the sake of hearing their own unhappy voices.

Funny how the vast majority of frustrated holders dont feel the need to vent all day, every day on LSE. You’ve made your points 100 times, why do you think it’s any more interesting on the 101st occasion?
