Governments got together and agreed to build a huge test reactor called ITER (in France). It started construction about 10 years ago I think and has probably about another 10 before it’s ready to fire up.

What’s your point about private industry? It’s the private sector which is pushing the envelope right now with massive inflows of investment and brainpower. Sometimes current technology is just not up to the job, so it may take a break through in several areas to make the leap to a practical fusion power reactor.

Unfortunately it’s pretty hard trying to replicate the forces that create fusion within a star, the only working fusion reactors we know of.
They do work, briefly, but can’t be sustained for a meaningful duration and energy out versus energy in is a big weakness.
Probably needs another major breakthrough in technology to make it happen. At the moment there is massive investment in that area, mostly private sector who see a huge return of they can get a viable reactor over the line.

QFI have allowed all of Q4 for commercial discussions. I think that’s more to do with the supply side of the fuel than Morocco wanting it. Obviously there can’t be a contract without a supplier. If they’ve allowed Q4 to sign a deal then I would expect them to use all of it or maybe more if history is anything to go by. I’m also sure “site A” will play a part in the suppliers decision, so they’d want that test completed and evaluated before any agreement is worked out. Higher consumption volumes makes the decision easier for them.

What are you whining about now, oh wait it’s the same as yesterday, and just as pathetic. If you think these “posters” got it right then join them, get out and give us peace.

PoC will “commence” before end of this year, not completed.
So in theory it could be well into January/February before they conclude and lono gets underway.

“Lack of tangible progress”

It’s barely been 4 weeks since the MSC announcement which came on top of the Morocco trial announcement.
What exactly are you expecting Wonga?

Trial burn to complete in Q3 as planned, and as we stand it’s end of august, so what’s with the despair about news?

We’re not going to get a running commentary, Jason told us that. I’ve no doubt tangible progress is being made quietly behind the scenes which will eventually lead to a meaningful announcement. That’s the deal so we have to wait.

Interesting development DoN, and it does sound like a bunkering location for MSAR/biomsar. I note Byles says “we” are starting a trial on “first next year”. He’s maybe stretching it a bit with that comment but it does sound like QFI technology could be a major part of their business plan there.

The imminent quote above is in relation to the trial starting (in July) not the release of results.
QFI went on to explain the delay was due to unavailability of testing parts and personnel. They hoped to be quicker this time around in announcing but there would be a lot of data to process before final results would be ready for publication. HF 14 has a history of misquoting and getting it wrong, this is another one of these moments.

The final stage testing is outsourced to others and not something QFI has direct control over. As I recall final test results were due in Q3 and would help inform LONO preparations, they are not a go no go situation.

The reason for our SP is indeed mainly due to large sellers offloading and nothing to do with company progress. It’s just not quick enough for you so you feel the need to whine about it everyday. I couldn’t give a toss now what you think of QFI or it’s prospects. You shouldn't be invested in the AIM from what I can see.

Then when the rns dropped you bought more shares, clearly you got your belief back in the company? Well, for a few days at least.
You’ve stayed your average is around 5/6p so well ahead of most long term holders.

The SP didn’t boom as you expected so your mood swung back to its default victor meldrew position. The share price right now is nothing to do with company performance which you should understand but it. If we all whined like you on this board there’d be f’all worth reading. Het over it, either wait for developments or sell up and give us peace.

Multi-bagging from 5p is one thing, from 1p it’s not as appealing given the time and risk many holders have endured.

It’s not surprising holders have reacted negatively to a share price that went down just when we received our biggest news in years. It’s perverse despite knowing the probable cause were ii’s selling.
