Yep sorry Don , I agree with that about Utah, however I am very very interested in the results of the green brother in particular if they can get towards that 30% reduction of CO2. The governing bodies around the globe seem to have a fixation on these carbon things and what it is doing so for Qfi another big tick in the box could just be round the corner for publicity and promotion. Many future areas especially for shipping may get further restrictions in the future. I have seen my aviation career go through the noise and pollution changes and carbon banks etc come along. If shipping gets a bad name because it’s high in the league table of naughty culprits then Quadrise has an answer with wow a potential 30% saving. Again yes it’s so far away down the line but you have to start somewhere and these test results could be just that.
Thanks, Tuckman - I personally consider the bioMSAR lab/bench/generator trial report and results to be a fait accompli, and I don't expect it to result in any major re-ratings. I could be wrong!
I was talking in terms of project development roadmap.
It will be very interesting to read, though.
When investors believe QFI going commercial is likely, that`s when I think the SP will burst upward. You cant struggle for 10 years producing nothing but disappointment and still expect the market to bounce up on potential, been there and done that. Contracts to commence sea trials with MSC will likely be that major moment, and we should have these agreements probably late Q2 according to Jason`s video. Thereafter trial outcomes should be positive, we know it works very well, they are a keen partner and our fuel fits with their future fuels strategy, so it`s game on this year I would say for sure. Add in Morocco later in the year and Christmas 2021 could be rather special. I see Utah as a later development into 2022 by the time they organise and fund a new 10k bpd facility. An end-user is still far from clear.
Don, Utah before trial results of green brother? I am hoping for them next week!
Yep, the next likely source of news is Utah and testing their bitumen samples at QRF, and then hopefully sending the MMU over for testing. As outlined in the recent video that was published on Proactive, Greenfield are making excellent progress -- albeit slightly behind schedule due to Covid and other uncertainties.
Going by the interview, it appears they have all of the technical acumen and experience to make this work, and they want to work out the issues before introducing those improvements into the FEED and finalising everything.
46Gillingham QFI Selling Price I think will leap at the most un expected time -just when you dont expect it. Remember the big boys including B.P will be watching this share and I would not be to suprised if one of these trys a takerover once we have a decent P.E etc I could be wrong but we will see.
Boyporche.
I really hope they can generate plenty of positivity over the next 3 months to put the history of close calls and disappointments behind us. Plus that signing of at least one contract this year. Its hard too imagine any SP but with the potential available and the current perfect storm of green and shipping if all goes well this year then a 3 figure SP is certainly not out of the question next year! Let’s hope all jigsaw pieces fit and all trials run smoothly
TechyRob..However I prefer your scenario :)
The markets are forward looking though and the closer we get to commercialisation, the more aware the market will become to our potential and the SP will rise to reflect that. So should everything continue as planned Im personally expecting to see significant and relatively short term SP rises. I can’t see how any commercial deal that demonstrates our market viability and makes us self sufficient puts us below 50p, even with the smallest of customers (not even considering giants like MSC).
BP I agree cant wait to see which RNS we get next. What do you think will happen re the SP on the current batch of RNS's we are waiting for assuming they are positive. For myself I not expecting great gains in the share price in the near future I think that will come when commercials are agreed and commercialisation start, or when a few institution take a position in QFI. What are your thoughts.
Its quiet at the moment can wait for another RNS. Crystal Ball suggests to me we will get one next few days so fingers crossed everyone.
