" diligent investors often seek information from a variety of sources to stay informed about the potential outcomes for their TRADES" (my caps) 🤣
"You might be reconsidering your stance now. "
Nope, I notice you're avoiding the issue of the CEO putting in £15k, even though he has plenty of options as well

The Company is also announcing the commencement of drilling activities on the Asphalt Ridge project in Uintah County, UT. A rig is scheduled to be on site this Sunday, and to drill and complete the Company’s first well on this asset in the next two weeks. Drilling results are expected to be readily available shortly after the well is drilled to a total estimated depth of 1,200 feet. The project targets a highly promising heavy-oil tar sand field that is expected to be densely developed at scale, with as low as 2.5 acre spacing for future wells. Through existing working interests and option agreements, the Company has the ability to take up to a 20% working interest in this project.
“These are positive next milestones for our Company,” commented Michael Peterson, CEO of Trio Petroleum Corp. “It is very encouraging to see these next steps happen in the transition from the exploration and de-risking of these promising oil and gas assets into potentially scalable cash-flowing resources. We look forward to providing further updates as we drill our first well on the Asphalt Ridge Asset and restart production on additional wells and selling of oil produced from both the McCool Ranch and Presidents Fields in the months ahead.”

Valkor not Valcor.
Valcor is a completely different engineering company.
"The open offer was oversubscribed, the CEO put £15k into subscription shares, and Valkor have approval to drill a well. I'd say that's news enough to prompt buying and hence the SP rise"
You might be reconsidering your stance now. The post in question was created when the value was at 1.86, its now 1.625. It's probable that Valcor's position has already been factored in. Recall the anticipation around Christmasof funds from Valcor that failed to come to fruition, which is now projected for later this year. The drilling permits were approved in August, and Valcor disclosed their timeline in November 2023. The report here came five months subsequent, thus it wasn't exactly prompt. While you might be content to wait for news updates here, diligent investors often seek information from a variety of sources to stay informed about the potential outcomes for their current or prospective investments.
It almost sounds "imminent"....!
Sounds good!!
I'm looking forward to this drilling kicking off. I can see both Valkor and QED keeping us appraised of the progress at important steps. Valkor showing that is likely to be the case already.
Lets see how the updates go, it might be something like:
Drill rig is on site
Drilling commenced
Drilling has reached total depth - summary of visible results
Samples taken and sent for analysis, processing
Samples shipped to QED
Samples received at QED
Sample analysis at QED and results of that

"the man who posed as a woman"
Also this is literally hate speech. Hope you don't live in Scotland lol
"I don't need to, I can see the good news coming in from the QED RNS's"
Correct, Quadrise will release all the information that's relevant to us. Certainly not following Tomco anyway, not a fan.
[And The Valkor Group more broadly*]
I personally do not find TomCo credible any more after their antics with "funding by Easter" for 3-odd years, and brutally diluting shareholders on a regular basis.
I think Heavy Sweet Oil are the company to pay attention to.
Clearly not such a 'simple investor' as they like to make out!
LSE are very hot on folks posting L2 data as it can impact their business. Pity they aren't so hot on those with multiplee logins / usernames and hundreds of posts a week to acheive some aim or another!
"If you want to stay informed about Valkor, it's essential to follow both Tomco and the Valkor Group's website in addition to this platform."
I don't need to, I can see the good news coming in from the QED RNS's. I was merely pointing out that that there has been news recently, and it is causing the SP to rise (not necessarily in a straight line)
I retract that statement; it's down 6.70% at 1.698. I'm certain it will keep fluctuating for the foreseeable future.
Says 2.09% up on my screen @1.858
"Oh that`s rich coming from you, the man who posed as a woman, who claimed 2 x 500k trades that weren`t his etc etc. He would have got away with it if it weren`t for those pesky kids!"
I'm not sure if you're using the word "rich" correctly. As a person who was subject to a Preparation H struggle session, I know about that which I speak.
Does it matter who said what. How about commenting on SP slipping back a bit.
"Sigh. These investigations into people are tiresome"
Oh that`s rich coming from you, the man who posed as a woman, who claimed 2 x 500k trades that weren`t his etc etc. He would have got away with it if it weren`t for those pesky kids!
An easy way to resolve this is for asimpleinvestor to post a screenshot from his own L2 history showing the "Halt"?
Sigh. These investigations into people are tiresome
There's no need to fabricate anything, mate. I simply posted a heads up that a 'halt' order had been put in place in case someone was trying to execute a trade and couldn't or if it was delayed. If you haven't seen it, check your history; it might be in there. I'm not interested in arguing; you can either accept that it happened or not, either way it doesn't matter as it only lasted half an hour. Ultimately, someone took offense and requested the post be removed, it was, and so it has become history. End of story
I was watching level 2 at the same time .and there was no mention of suspension. So i suspect he just made it up ,the why, i do not know.
Ah, ok. Fingers in ears approach.
If any other L2 customers noticed a suspension to QED trading yesterday around 2.30 pm, let us know if you would, though I suspect we’d know about it by now. Speaks for itself I’d say.
Valkor received approval to drill three test wells last year and their intention was to start drilling in Spring 2024. Voodoo attempted to halt the process during the hearing when Valkor sought permission for ten or more wells. However, the hearing board granted permission for three wells, with the stipulation that the test results must be submitted to the board before any further wells are approved. If you want to stay informed about Valkor, it's essential to follow both Tomco and the Valkor Group's website in addition to this platform.
