ASIC UltraBoost patent already filed...
The Company has also started to implement the first set of optimisations on FPGA, expecting early
completed versions of the FPGA to be ready by the end of October 2021, while the optimisations
covered by the above-mentioned patent are due by December 2021. ASIC development work is
expected to start in parallel in October 2021.
Based on the performance achieved by the FPGA chip, it may be decided to use it as the Company’s
first mining engine.
QBT’s Quantum Computing team has now started working on the D-wave Quantum computer,
programming the quantum processor, whilst the Company completed the design of the new IT
infrastructure. This new infrastructure includes a 128 core Machine Learning workstation and an initial
one Petabyte memory expandable unit, in order to host the proprietary enriched Bitcoin mining “BTC
Large Big Data”.
When I think of my investment in QBT I am reminded of something a good friend said some years ago (former FD of Ladbrokes)
'It's not about what you've got, it's about what you could have'
Come on Jack (no sounds like a scene from Titanic Movie jokes pls :-)
Shared the ASIC UltraBoost and other optimizations QBT are working on with Jack and Jesse (Square $122B MCAP)
The stuff QBT are working on sounds like a near perfect fit for Squares BTC mining plans...
https://news.bitcoin.com/jack-dorsey-says-square-is-considering-building-bitcoin-mining-system-based-on-custom-silicon/
Come on Jack ;-)
Jack, Jack, Jack where are you Jack ? (sorry but i've been hounding Twitter Jack and it always reminds of that ship/iceberg film)
The past few weeks i've been dangling QBT's ASIC UltraBoost and other crypto innovations under the noses of some the the industries leading players like Michael Saylor (MicroStrategy), Jack (Square), Kevin O'leary, The Bitcoin Mining Council members and BTC visionaries like Pomp and Willy Woo.
Only the one reply so far from an Argo Blockchain high ranking operative but I'm hopeful that my efforts have perhaps encouraged some of the big fish to take a closer look, perhaps even take a bite...
Here's hoping and here's a link to Jacks recent tweets about Square setting up a team led by Jesse to bring new innovation to BTC mining, chip manufacture and cloud mining tech:
https://twitter.com/jack/status/1449110251882549253?s=20
You should find my tweets (DSFAT) about QBT scattered throughout Jacks and Jesse's thread
Come on Jack or MS, Kevin or anyone with a bucket load of cash to invest :-)
DSFLAT,
THOUGHTS..?
Great response:
If ARGO was working on an RnD program or owned this portfolio of work, with a myriad of expected patents including UK/ International ASIC “ultraboost” Chips patent 20% faster, 20% power saving for BTC mining - the valuation of ARB would go through the roof, double (or triple even) from current close. At least double.
It’d be sitting nearer to £2.50 and rising on BTC everyweek.
Unfortunately, for ARB investors and it’s CEO, another UK CEO and it’s company invested into aggressive ASIC/ FPGA optimisation RnD Project in 2020/21 ? having realised “BTC green-mining” was the future and BTC Chip-optimisation of 256H-algo’s on ASIC’s was only possible if you had a skilled team of technical quantum genius’s on board working as a specialised team:
QBt case:A highly skilled group of PHD graduates in Quant computing, AI, Algorithm-optimisation, deep-learning, big-data with highly skilled Physicists add to that an “International proven crypto-expert” specialisation in BTC optimisation, led by a CEO with a Quantum PHD. The white papers which you posted and thesis was written a while back and ARB missed a huge opportunity, went ahead with BTC, BTC price crashed and global regulators came in demanding “greener mining”.
The opportuniity was there...(for ARB)
Argo invested in ePIC some time ago on the understanding that ePIC could work on mining innovations and optimizations and that Argo would get first refusal on any rigs.
I think Argo invested $8M Canadian dollars but later released news that that deal had changed. I'm not sure that anyone knows what Argo and ePIC have deal wise at this time.
It has been suggested to me by someone within the industry that perhaps the three working together could be a good fit.
As I see it the ASIC UltraBoost patent is filed and the information is out there, those keeping an eye on innovation in the mining space may see an opportunity and seek to either help, join or buy QBT and their ip.
ip that QBT are working on could be extremely valuable.
I'm not interested in a crummy $8m, we should be making $100m at least a year
DS FLAT,
That is interesting, was not aware of that. Thanks
10 months ago, I recognised:
FG postponed mining, changed it’s strategy, prioritised intelligently, astute decision at the time. some scoffed, QBT raced ahead and “priortised RnD” with crypto expert. In hindsight was a very smart move market, a disruptive move and now on track to have a market disruptive “greener ASIC/ FPGA chips” to commence mining after testing. To survive in this sector: you had to be green to be accepted: “priortise saving energy resources” is a no1 priority, globally, and QBT CEO knew this. ARB missed a massive market £££ growth opportunity it seems.
The ARB valuation had crashed and has remained where it is, else it would be £2.00+ With RnD greener chips program.
ARB does not have QBT’s technical skillset, nor the know how. It is extremely difficult this program unless you fully understand Quantum/ optimisations .
QBT: greener ASICS/ FPGA chips ADD Green/faster BTC mining = MASSIVE GROWTH.
QBT will takeover ARB eventually, I don’t mean Buy-out. Smart money will end up here.
Watch this space.
Fig.
In your guys opinion Asic/fpga chips are said to be 7% efficient in bitcoin mining does this mean QBT have tested the chips and if so does that mean they are mining bitcoin in the background slowly.
Not sure to be honest Golf
News will reveal all.
Likely decisions will be made.
Reading between the lines, prioritisation means concentration on one piece before another. Not abandoning is how most read it.
Green chips before mining. Good questions though. Likely test first and if its a success. Mining can commence quietly, why not?. .Good debate this Saturday.
I bought Argo at 5.6p and it took an age for a lot of investors to see the potential it had which came mostly from holders getting the message out on chat boards and twitter.
Argo went to £3 within a few months of word getting out...
I feel the same excited expectation about where QBT could go :-)
Nice return 5.6p to £3, shot up within 3 months guess investor weren't shouting slow and steady rise then, missed out on ARB and the SP action certainly won't want to miss it on this one. Thanks for all your updates DSFLAT
Going by the number of shares the equivalent to ARB would take QBT to around £1.50 : )

Tesla CEO Elon Musk says that he will become the world’s first Dogecoin trillionaire. According to a recent prediction by a Morgan Stanley analyst, the SpaceX founder is on his way to becoming the world’s first trillionaire with his relentless amassing of wealth. A Twitter account called UberFacts tweeted this prediction. Amusingly, the Tesla CEO replied to the tweet, stating that he would be a Dogecoin trillionaire. With that reply, he sent the Dogecoin price soaring again. Indeed DS, many feel that the potential here is even greater than ARB hence why there are so many deramp crew members being sent here daily as they were certain they would be able to load up around 1.25 but it wasn’t to be sadly for them! Soon they will be paying 5p +
The ASIC UltraBoost patent filing will undoubtedly have caught the eye of many within the BTC industry.
Some simple digging into the ASIC optimization leads directly to the AsicBoost and there is plenty of reading that can be done with regard to Timo Hanke and AsicBoost.
The anonymity of QBT's Cryptographic expert is something I find interesting and perhaps the identity of the expert lies within the AsicBoost's complex story (they could make a film out of it) which to me would make sense of the anonymity.
Will QBT's UltraBoost patent be enough to gain the interest of the likes of Michael Saylor, Jack, Ebang, Square or even a large Bitcoin miner ? Who knows... imo it will
If QBT's expert is TH (i'm not saying it is btw) then that would add considerable weight to the patent imo
The background buying might suggest that QBT has caught the eye and indeed the investment from one or more of the big players.
What innovations will QBT unveil next ?
GLA
QBT is full of life again! Bulls and bears very present. Why the big jump? What's the patent worth?
Worked out on $60,000 BTC.
900 BTC per day are currently mined.
60,000 X 900 = $54,000,000 Per day
365 x $54,000,000 = $19,710,000,000 per anum
A 7% improvement in efficiency of $19.710 Billion = $1,379,700,000 in annual savings to be had.
How much is that worth to QBT should their patent prove successful. What percentage could be gained in revenue to QBT? These are not small numbers. $1.379 Billion in savings to be had per year.
Going forward, work those numbers on $100k, $200k BTC etc etc..
Huge! All speculation right now so expect volatility, take profits on the way up, buy on dips, enjoy the ride.
Thanks to Weathergeek for posting this info ( I thought it appropriate to add it to this thread for future reference )
Being offered 2.7 for my million on HL...
MM's having to walk this up because theres no stock around and everyone wants to buy
MM's have been posting the large late trades not at the end of the day but at the end of the next trading day...
Maybe they have been large filling orders with shares they don't have ?
Watch out for MM games if they need shares
Not interested in profit taking here until the sp is in the £'s, if the path here does turn out to be similar to ARB as many suspect could be the case then hopefully I may be able to slice a few here in the not too distant future!
I agree did OK with ARB did sell early before its meteoric rise but more than happy with the profit....I can see this taking a little longer but who knows....holding a nice quantity and looking at 20p target initially
Very few shares about, falling into sticky hands finally.
Tired of the chances looking for a tenner here and there.
Quantum Blockchain Technologies Plc (QBT) hit an upwards monthly price breakout.

Large trades have they shown up yet?
Likely afterclose?
Close 2.9 - 3.00p is possible

Can you tell my why Weathergeeks figures are so good when all he has done is take a bitcoin price, multiplied it by the number of coins mined per day, then multiplied it by the number of days in a year and taken 7% of this value. How does this relate to a 7% increase in miming speed or efficiency?
