The China recovery will come, as Stokready says. Pru will be much higher again.
For now I am content that my racking has already got me on the right side of the trade and into 4 figure profit on it. All only after a couple of days.
The buffer will give a basis to now to add / trim. Range 700 to 880.
Expect to build a sub £5 average holding and expand it from there.

Goodness, just popped in to see the Pru chat and thought it best to start a positive thread.
Guys ... get a room... preferably a freezer and close the door when you are inside.
Chill.
Of course not. . . we'd only been chatting daily on here and via both email groups and on discord similarly for a number of years . . . . . DOH.

Thanks mate
You said
but I think the money is sitting in higher yield stocks/gilts/treasuries for now...
Can you elaborate what you mean by that and exactly what are those higher yield stocks? At what risks compare to this one ?
All game of risks and rewards....
If this is due to give you over 30-40% increase by the end of the year, please tell me where else I go for higher yield than this ? This is what I think will happen here by the year end and I will just add at current levels and will keep adding.
As with China, I can send you some linos when I get time but this is the current consensus at the moment.
Happy trading mate and let me know where I can get 40% yield within 7 months without CFD of course.
?!?
Thanks

"China is due for massive recovery towards end of this year"
stockready1
"massive" ......maybe you could add some depth to that opinion , as to where it is going to come from ....
Stockready1
It is definitely a game of patience, but I think the money is sitting in higher yield stocks/gilts/treasuries for now , rather than adding to shares like here ...
Probably be volatile as data/geo politics remains volatile , but if indeed the FED start to peddle back in June then by end of the year and a clearer picture with the US election , then things could look better
however I still feel there are bumps in the road between now as then as you suggest
Mary
Id take no notice of KP tbh, he got booted off the private groupchat for pretty much doing what he does on everyboard on here, whining on about things like 'gold plated pensions' cussing others for making money, when he just repeatedly loses it with panic buys and sells daily, making snide remarks im sure you het the picture. All on the group got sick of him ignoring good advice then moaning on time after time, he got the heave ho in the end, hence why he stalks me now. Not one to try and learn that one im afraid.
I just can tell you this much
This will be played a bit so it is not for weak hearted.
Those who stay put will be rewarded massively and I mean massively
Been doing this for 25 years and I know my game so well.
This is the stock I add more and more and more and wait.
This is not a over night win or stright line rise
But by the end of the year expect massive rewards here.
I will average down and average up here at these sort of bargain prices
China is due for massive recovery towards end of this year
Stay put

Just watching Narcos at the moment - glad PRU was not in Columbia in the 70s.
" Vietnam seemed to be the downer this year..2
They are in political turmoil....2nd President just resigned within 14 months....political arrests on corruption charges, big fraud charges on bank embezzlements....all sorts going on
Foreign investors gone very cautious on investing there
PRU's response.. (that should have read)
Has $2 Billion of exposure to Chinese property debt
and local government debt (the $2 bn is the combined number).
PRU us response say ..their Chinese property exposure is..
well diversfied.
Thanks jatw, always interested in your measured comments. gl.
Thank goodness I filled my boots with Jackson when they demerged from pru at a paltry $25 if I remember correctly. Jackson up $3.48 today and now at $66 all time high. More than offsets my losses on this garbage.
Warriers lol
It makes me smile when I read about keyboard barriers in their echo chambers.
Always be positive and courteous to others, even those who disagree.
What I post is usually fairly live info to inform, spotting some things before others are aware. Many others do the same. When someones asks a question, I respond when I notice it. Anything posted is never advice, but what is posted is honest.
My snooker racking works on the whole well. If others choose to pick holes then it does not really matter.
Why don't other make trading suggestions if they are so sure and successful? The Boards would be interested and could ignore the post quite easily.
Above all the abuse of others on forum threads can sometimes surprise me by the venom.
I do not do spats.
As always, take care and gl with you positions.

Unfortunately the economic clouds which have hung over the likes of China more recently have had a detrimental effect on the share price for Prudential, if not for its long term prospects. The shares have fallen by 23% over the last year, as compared to a rise of 4.5% for the wider FTSE100 and have now dropped by some 49% over the last three years in a painful reminder of the ground which needs to be recovered. Nonetheless, this lag in the share price has seemingly strengthened the resolve of bulls of the stock, who remain highly confident of the group’s longer term prospects, as evidenced by a market consensus which continues to come in as a strong buy.
Ok how so? 🤔
