Well, kind of - https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/PNPL/corporate-update/14874446
It's good to hear a bit of an update anyway and appears to have influenced a slight rise in price which is somewhat reassuring. At this point I'm planning to hold until any such aquisition
Wonder how long this process will take, piece of string question really. I wonder if the lower share price is impatience from investors or if a proposed acquisition has hit a stumbling block.
surely the company they acquire provides the green expertise?
PNPL provides the finance and financial acumen
Nor sure if this has already been posted but found this clip from a PI giving his take on the company
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6MdgLHQvTA&feature=youtu.be
Their expenses from the last 5 years show they have been travelling for R&D so I wouldn't say they have no experience or insight - 5 years is a hell of a long time.
Who knows? But I do have a perhaps minor concern that, whilst the director's CVs are admirable, none of them have any technical expertise or any experience that would give them an insight into the renewable energy landscape, especially from a technology perspective. Not bought in yet... pondering it.
Hi All,
I've been doing some research and trying to piece together the clues and inks to find out who the company will be that Pineapple will Aquire to go Public, whats your views?
474 is around £50 - again another rounded number for people to test the water
For example about 4% of the trades today are precisely 474 shares in size (5/125 trades) - nobody can tell me this in expected.
The chance of any single trade size between 1 and 1000 is 1/1000th. The chance of getting 5 of a specific number is 125 x (1/1000)^5 or one in 8 trillion. The chance of getting 5 of ANY number between 1 and 1000 is still one in 8 Billion. I just chose 474 because that immediately jumps out of the data as soon as you look at it.

Thanks, its not finally gone through, only took 2 days.. Chart on T212 has updated now too.
Yep agree, going to be suspended for a good while at some point.
Tough to call but be prepared to have your funds tied up for a few months with the inability to sell IMO
I'd say it's exactly that. Did the same thing this morning by picking up ~150 shares
Obviously a question very difficult to answer here. Just wondered if anyone had an idea guess as to when any RTO might happen? Hard to get any snippets of information about any possible things in the pipeline I guess.
Can take all day with them sometimes. i only use them for smallish buys on speculative shares, otherwise i use my HL account which is instant.
Anyone else using Trading 212? PNPL market orders don't seem to be going through.
I think it's because on free trade its listed as a popular stock so with the huge influx of new traders it would be appealing to new people with the low price. A volume of 45 is around the £5 mark so I'm looking at it logically and saying a lot of people are testing the water using this stock. It was the same thing I did.
this morning - in around 1000 trades 48 of them are a 'volume' of 45, whilst there is not a single trade of 79 or 80 in size - this does not look entirely random to me and suggests there may be some algorithmic bots gaming this stock.
not only are the very large numbers of tiny trades starting to look more than a little suspicious but so is the repeated size of some of those trade 'volumes' - this looks like it is a penny stock being pumped and dumped by bots.
Good news must definitely. Hopefully a push up this afternoon
I agree, to my mind it would suggest a proposed deal could be pretty imminent. Hope your 10-15p on top prediction would be right :-)
This can be considered good news at the very least. It basically says the directors won't make any profit on their options if the RTO they have in mind doesn't reach at least 12p. In my experience they will be expecting to be in-the-money to the tune of 10 to 15p at least which equates to a shares price of 21p to 26p minimum.
And secondly, it also means there is a high probability of a deal....you only issue Options for work done if the chance of the deal is very high or else you look a bit stupid if it fails.
it is if you are one of the people getting those options. If the price goes above 11p you can cash in an immediate profit, if not then you've lost nothing.
Is this good news? A new investment?
