@bramers. I use T212 for small buys when i have loose change so to speak and then transfer too HL once a fund gets over £500. With T212, just put in loads of £10buys and they seem to go through really quickly. Same applies to selling with them. Some shares are worse/better than other ie ARB is instant, but SYME takes an age. Try the £10 method and let us know how you get on
Not easy sometimes sitting on a paper loss. The few times i've sold on a loss, the share has grown legs and flown a few months later! Stopped doing it now and learnt to just forget about them, and research the next share i'll be adding to my portfolio. If you are in SYME or EUA you really have to learn patience
@Tyslee. IMO this is always a high risk, but also potentially a high reward. I hold 5000 shares and i am prepared to speculate and possibly lose this amount (would rather not) however theres a good chance of making some decent profit here. No reason that it won't surpass your price. Not easy, but i'd just sit on your hands for now or have a top up to bring your average down.
