Looks like they've burned through all the money without striking a deal. They're going to need more cash soon.
They look like very strong appointments, hopefully this is a sign of the viability of the RTO with Ilios.

At least it's some sort of news today.
In the news article it states 'Pineapple Power shares were flat at 2.74 pence each in London on Thursday afternoon'.
What else would they be when they've been suspended for ages?
Dear BoD,
Your last RNS was 6 November 2023, respectfully five months’ silence is too long, please update your shareholders - thank you in anticipation.
Yours sincerely,
-TM

Anyone heard anything yet?!
I know RTO take time. But PNPL seem to have a track record of taking their time over things including failed RTO's Element 2
I'm only a small investor 6000 shares on Trading212 which seem to be permantley suspended! Due to the cylce of the above mentioned.

Supposed to conclude H2 2023 so in the next few months hopefully.
I've had a position with pineapple for over 2 years.
Only just stumbled across this group.
Checked my trading app to see suspension of shares due to unfavourable execution.
I've emailed their investors page and nothing back as yet.
Very frustrating.
They launch SPAC shell and just sitting on shareholders moolah.
I get they have to make the right decisions and due diligence...
Where's the se se of urgency and delivering for us?

I'm not sure.
I'm also trying to get an idea of how long we are likely to be in stasis.
Might try emailing the company directly, see if they can give an indication of progress without saying anything market sensitive
Is there any information as to the state of due diligence activity? Can the company continue the suspension indefinitely, or is there an updating requirement by FCA?
Anyone seen any updates or news?
Has anyone seen any news on how the RTO is going, whether terms are near to being agreed, or timescales?
Thanks

Well done to PNPL and its shareholders, and fingers crossed that this deal completes for you.
If it does, it will be good not just for PNPL, but the shells sector as a whole.
It's certainly encouraging for another shell that could potentially be a play on this area:-
Aura Renewable Acquisitions (ARA) 5p Market cap. £525k. Cash c. £800K.
https://www.lse.co.uk/SharePrice.asp?shareprice=ARA&share=Aura-Renew-Acq
From a 19.4.23 ARA video interview:-
"... The sectors that we're particularly interested in are in energy storage generally, but particularly in battery technologies. ..."
https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/1012600/aura-renewable-acquisitions-very-hopeful-of-making-a-transaction-this-year-1012600.html
Hope this deal comes off!

Patience young Jedi!
"Ammo for M&A costs " "A director and former director subscribing" - there is no deal in play then as a Director is subscribing otherwise there should have been an RNS. As I said joke of a SPAC.
A director and former director subscribing - turkeys voting for Christmas? I think not.
"Ammo for M&A costs" - for another non deal prior to the next placing!! Joke of a SPAC
Bargepole
Ammo for M&A costs - V +ve news.

Very interesting link, I'm holding into suspension, could make a huge move when it comes back.
Could h2green.co.uk eventually slide into PNPL?

There have been issues with Octopus buying out 'Bulb' - delays etc. Maybe they are interested in buying PNPL !

Hufc1908,
Wise words from Zak Mir.
The new FCA rules increasing the minimum market fund raise and capitalisation threshold for standard listing from £700k to £30m, is a decision very much in favour of existing listed cash shells such as PNPL.
Feels very positive here …
Best wishes,

Pineapple Power (PNPL), and perhaps one of the mysteries here is why the stock has not been flying for some months now? This is for much of 2022 we have been in a cash crunch on the London market. Therefore, it would be logical to assume that cash shells should be amongst the most sought after and valuable vehicles on the market. That Pineapple Energy news release was just yesterday though. A lot of bigger trades have gone in before that was released.
It could be people buying the wrong share after reading the news, it happens quite a lot. I've even seen it written about as a strategy.
Sorry different companies
Yes, it makes a change from the usual tiny trades.

I was wondering when a more recent comment would emerge and, like buses, there's two! My stockbroker required me to fill in a form before I'm allowed to invest in this high-risk entity. It remains in my Watchlist.
No chance. Until this shower of sh@t company give us something we can believe in it will keep dropping. I have no
Idea what they are doing. Communication is zero. Al. We ever see is some recycled tweets.
Given their cash position and cash flow we're looking at another raise soon right?

It’s all to do with the method LSE employs to work it out based on price. They aren’t fed the buy/sells just unit and price. Industry standard method. Sometimes it doesn’t get it right. Who knew?
It’s posting buys as sells. Not helpful.
For some reason buys aren’t showing on here

Hi. For anyone that uses Trading 212 a number of small cap stocks, including Pineapple Power PLC, have been placed in close only mode, quote "Due to significant risks of volatility, price slippage and delays in order execution, several small-cap stocks per placed in a "Close-only" mode. Existing holdings won't be affected, however, no BUY orders can be placed."

“…But investors prepared to exercise due diligence, and looking to get in early before the market tide turns once again towards more speculative ventures, might want to have a look at the some of the UK’s smaller SPACs. It is important to note that such companies can apply for exemptions from the FCA rules requiring that SPACs list with a minimum market capitalisation of £30m…”

Quite simply, M&A is an expensive business.
It’s certainly reassuring to read they are receiving interest.
Without revenues they do need more money to keep going, get ready for another round of share printing, report says:
"...Having considered forecasts, the Directors consider that there will be a need to raise further funds so that
sufficient funds are available for the Company to continue in operational existence for at least 12 months
from the date of approval of these accounts. Accordingly, the Board believes it appropriate to adopt the
going concern basis in the approval of the financial statements..."
As for "how did they manage that?" - expenses are clearly outlined on page 31.
Third of it was because of reverse takeover.
How the **** did they manage that?

Some wider liquidity issues across the mkt today.
PNPL was born to RTO: it’s just a question of time before its ducks are in a row …
Stuff continues to brew... but no one seems to have a clue what...very very weird the past few months
I know that I know nothing.
Think we do know.

It's still chump change though so unless someone has an algorithm to buy up small lots of shares, it's not going to be your RH, 212 or other mass sharedealing site who has the inside nod.
It's peculiar to say the least but I'm in so I don't actually care, it can continue on this trend ;)
Something’s brewing …
From 3.50 on April 6th to 5.75 less than 2 weeks later, without any news... O_o... still need it over 8 personally but still..
