@Red - I hear you, I suppose we're all left waiting to see what happens in time - I'm with you on the spike then drift on news - it's often the way when people over-value something that doesn't lead directly (or immediately) to performance.
Hi 30silver - my patent comment was refers to the value of the patent being limited until a full size, commercial product is up, running (a full trial period) and works; along with the economics working to ensure it has a market..
There's plenty of great patents that haven't translated in to sellable products, leaving them worthless and the company going under.
I'm sure there will be a spike on patent news, but can see it drifting back down until proof of a full scale working product, along with orders.
Can't beat Hargreaves Landsdown to be fair. I also have an ISA with interactive investor, but sometimes you have to wait a while before you can reuse the sale funds to reinvest; which is very frustrating if you're trying to take advantages of price fluctuations.
Hi pat... and any one else concerned about the kilm manufacturing checking to make sure its what we want and not a box of oranges ..
I had a lovely email (letter from PHE signed by another Paul.. a fast response I know !!
Might be a bit of a hydrogen buzz next month with the FT Live hydrogen summit (June 12th)
Never had a problem with x-o. Had looked at using 212 but read something about their interest paying account that spooked me a bit. Can't remember exactly what it was but was to do with fsa protection or something. Could be mistaken so anyone concerned check for yourself, do not assume that I'm 100% correct, maybe I have misunderstood something and there is nothing to be concerned about.
From the recent rns folks. Sure on delivery there could well be teething problems (in my experience with projects of such scale it would be no surprise) but I'm not concerned.
AGICO was chosen to provide the kiln after much research, and an independent verification of their facilities, processes, and workmanship by SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA (SGS). The Company also utilised the services of SGS to oversee packing and preparation for shipment. Shipping is expected to take approximately 45 days to reach the Technical Centre, following which installation will occur.
I always find it pretty hit and miss getting orders processed on Trading212 where I have my ISA. Sometimes they just don't get processed and other times they take ages meaning you can't take advantages in price fluctuation to buy in more or cash out some. Are any other platforms more reliable for this stock?
According to the last RNS SGS had inspected the firms workmanship and facilities etc and also oversaw packing for shipment. So hopefully there should be no problems. If there are we should hopefully be able to hold SGS responsible.

27 Days to go for the kilm to arrive...
Happy Days
Good point patxaran!
I have emailed just PHE with your concerns..
Let's see there response!
Castle
I hope this unit has been well inspected otherwise there’ll be 6 months going through the snagging list. Does anyone know if PHE sent anyone to monitor the build if not there may be problems speaking from experience.
Not denying that castle's posts are sometimes/a lot of ramping, but he is right that the patent news is important.
Sure a full scale working unit is (at least) as important, but the patent is the first next step in a robust business model.
@Red I think you're looking at the patent thing from the wrong angle, we're not looking at it from a royalties perspective which is what your post seemed to suggest (apologies if I've got the wrong end of the stick).
As I see it the patent relevance here would be a defensive mechanism against others copying whatever novel element of the process makes it better / more reliable / more saleable than the competition.
Red you post below ,,, quote patents only have value if " customers want to buy multiples of the product "
What do you think PHE are doing baking cakes ?
No we are selling our technology many times to our customers !
Castle
I think the next RNS needs to be a very positive one to stop the slide.
Red By the way I post fact not fiction and certainly not pessimistic stuff like some .
🥛🍷🥛🍷🍻🍻
Red , are you invested?
Are you going to see for yourself the Technology Centre in full operation in Wales?
If so , meat meet me there you can drink your milk and I can drink beer to toast our company success 🥛🍷
Castle, are you old enough to drink or maybe you drink too much and that’s why your messages / thoughts don’t hold much water.
Patents only have a value if the full scale product works to an efficient level and customers want to buy multiples of the product; otherwise they not worth the paper they’re printed on, so to speak!
Also the title of this thread needs to be changed!
Grate!!! Hahaha 🤣🤣🤣 a feeling now familiar with most
Hi silver thanks for your knowledge.
There was a small scale at the university that was running in perfectly good order , the kilm was worked on by scientists by funding from the Gov
( grant) creating a more efficient kilm self supportive free running after start up by its own syngas produced .
We have a grate team of Engineering at Engsolve who crate plants and commission them for a living , we are in good hands .
Any problems will be resolved further more its my understanding most of the appliances are fitted in the Technology Centre already ,, awaiting a few parts from Germany ie the cleaning chamber and the kilm from china , hoping them pesky chines have not been peaking under the blanky on the deck !!
Castle
@Castle, whilst I understand the value of patents, I think with this particular technology the bigger prize is having systems that can be seen to work consistently, at expected output levels, on the types of fuels / feedstocks that will be economically viable. Being effective and efficient is the goal, as opposed to having something novel / unique in the process. If the "secret sauce" that makes the system work is something that can be patented (and that patent can be defended from infringement - make sure nobody from China is let too close to a full system / allowed to buy one) then you've hit the jackpot.
I like the use of SGS to help select and oversee the process with Agico - having spent time in Henan province (not Anyang where Agile are, but just east of Zhengzhou) with manufacturers previously, there are some diamonds to be found within the rough, you need a trusted partner (we had a state-owned Civils Company with us, including a CCP member) to make sure of quality.
I'll be certain to keep an eye on this, but the move from a 2.5tpd test unit (100kg/hr for continuous running) to something that will be economically viable is a long, and difficult journey. If you are dealing with Hazardous waste, then 250-400kg/hr is about the level and if non-hazardous then it needs to be minimum 1,000kg/hr.
The test runs have to be for at least a week nonstop, I've been to test plants that run for a couple of hours and then they switch off, it proves virtually nothing.
Back to the point ,,
Next news is patents
Castle
Dusty I'm in poland , it's very expensive here ,, brilliant infrastructure , no pot holes ,, PHE tec will fit in nicely ,,
Happy days
Ha ha alkin I'm dyslexic,, most pi know that on here thanks for reminding me
