Could be a great Friday.. would be nice to see something beginning with an 8
Tom, your wish has come true. 8 PMDR have purchased substantial shares today. RNS out at 12:40pm. Alex Whitehouse Chief Executive Officer purchased 100,000 @ 65.0p. and SEVEN other PMDRs. Trust will have a good day tomorrow!
Im not used to a rise the day after results.and 14.93% increase. Its held up well. Looking forward to tomorrow. Maybe more of a move into the 70's. Sticking for a while, maybe along while, and news will be out abput the director buys.
this a business that has trans-formative upside and they know that only too well. Bet they were kicking themselves not being able to buy pre pensions signature, the financial update yesterday.
These brands are some of the most well known in the supermarkets and as alluded to already by a few the pricing multiples here are just too low for a business whose balance sheet is making massive leaps and whereby cash and profit generated are only set to increase - as referenced yesterday in the company presentation
Well that says it all...
Yes that's very good news, looks like they all bought at 65p with their own money, now that at last does show faith in pfd. now let us see 85p+
Vote of confidence my management - buy on test see RNS
Hold tight, looks like we are starting to move and here we go up to 75p -80p
Congratulations Peeablo, your patience and long term suffering have been well and truly tested...… good luck to all those who have kept the faith :)
Lol
Yes so many of us have been sitting on huge losses on these for years and it would be nice to at least hit 80p to recover much of that but it does seem like a bit of a dream to be this high again.
I think I must ask the wife to hit me round the head with a pan just to make sure I am not dreaming it. But then again that would be normal. !!!!
doyou have the text or link to share magasine update anyone please!

Go !!!
Is 11 years of pain worth seeing 70p broken - just now yes!
Still have to hit 89p to reach my highest paid share price, but never in a month of Sunday’s did I think I’d ever see that as potential. At one point early this year was sitting on a £60k loss with PFD, hovered over the Sell button for so long as I didn’t want to be left with nothing and haircut seemed only way out - a real flip of the coin decision to stay - thank goodness I did!
For those who got out I am genuinely sorry !
Kallumama - after yesterday's update, what do you make the new net asset (price to book) per share here? Just want to be sure I have calcs right!
Having watched that webcast yesterday evening, the international side of the business could really take off. And If it does (and you wouldn't put it past the new management) then the PE ratio is going drop even further which essentially means the price upside could look more like 4 or 5x these levels. It's all about surplus cash that's being generated and using that to ramp up marketing on tv, bring new products to market etc. All in all, extremely exciting and judging by the action here the City is all over this!!
This is the way to view - i think anyway.
If the sector and space trades around 20x and institutions see a business that's trading 7x which is rapidly sorting re-shaping itself with fantastic growth prospects then they are clearly going to be buying now especially as a dividend policy is looking more and more likely ahead too. Sorting out of the pension setup was the massive moment here. The market is forward looking, not backward and it's these profit multiples that will keep driving the price (by way of trend) higher. Have a good day all :)
Despite the overall markets having a down day ,PFD keeps pressing ahead against the tide !
Get in there my son .
Thank you nickel, whether I hold ukog now or not I don’t know what to do feel stupid for hanging onto them and not selling in the 0.4’s if I sell now! Still in decent profit though!!
Sam took out most of it on the big rise yesterday early doors as went up to quick and couldn't help myself but left around 20% in as can see the ramp possibly continuing.
As for this though , This is a fantastic long term play here and properly supported by fundamentals. PFD trades at only around 7x earnings whilst most of the sector trades around 20x. As you can see from some of the posts earlier, SHore Capital thinks this will double from here. I reckon it will do 4x longer term as profits will grow quicker as UK and international ramps and the proceeds from less interest payments mean they can spend a whole lot more on marketing and new brands or variations which essentially means more cash , more profits ahead.
Nickel have you moved from ukog to here now?
This now needs a big boost with all directors buying some shares, I don't mean taking any rights / offers etc I mean buying some shares with their own money, now that would boost the sp.
Come on guys the closed period is over buy buy buy.
Premier Foods (PFD), the maker of Mr Kipling cakes, has had a ‘transformational’ year thanks to coronavirus lockdown increasing demand, says Shore Capital.
Analyst Clive Black reiterated his ‘buy’ recommendation on the shares, which surged 14.9% to 68.5p yesterday.
He said the group had been ‘wandering around in zombie status for some years, burdened by overall indebtedness’ but underneath this ‘balance sheet millstone’ there has been ‘quite a good company seeking to show its true value for some time’.
Black said the group’s current position can ‘drive the re-rating much further still’.
‘We believe that Premier’s shares, which we placed on the “buy” roster on 1 April, have the scope to double again,’ he said.
