I'm expecting Hargreaves Lansdown to have a button to show the Corporate action next the the Holding = Along with the Buy/Sell and Alert Button. You have to go thru Investment,SIPP. ISA if you have them.
At Barclays I expect it on the Corporate Actions Tab for your Investment/Sipp/ISA Account.
I have other shares undergoing Corporate Actions so that's what I have for them.
On both it gave the option to specify number of shares. So would expect the same here, I think they will show on or after the 28th Oct
Slate you, where? The only thing I clarified for you which you took umbrage at was pointing out that you sold shares yesterday believing incorrectly your rights were secured. I genuinely wished you well with your trades and avoided personal insults you like to throw around.
You know this to be true and your defence mechanism that you do not care kicks in. Your insecurities and bile filled posts impress noone.
If you have nothing good to say, at least be kind and truthful.

Goodnight all.
Be fair, I posted by FSJ trades earlier so you know that your post is false.
even though i actually have a below zero average if i use her methodology having cashed out a large profit here in June!
Mary's lost half her cash in James Fisher in last 3 days. She won't tell anyone that though. but will slate me because i'm 15p below my average here!
Oh, and you're more reliable than all these Brokers and other experts, of course, MaryBr190! Can you get your head through the door still? Fancy ****ging off Goldman Sachs, ha! You're a joker!
r7632, if you're not happy with the initial advice you're getting or got from your Broker then raise a formal Complaint.
MaryBr190 swears by Hargreaves Lansdown but I can't count the number of times that HL has given me duff advice and I've had to recheck and recheck it. But that's still better than taking advice from anonymous nobodies on here, who you haven't got a hope in knowing their true background and credentials.
The guys did ask the brokers and they provided duff info which people willingly accepted as fact.
Don't ask on here, r7632, ask your Broker!!! You'll only get conflicting answers on here. MaryBr190 & Pokerchips on one side and a couple of others on the other side. You'll just get yourself confused. If it's important to you and you genuinely want to do it, ASK YOUR BROKER!
Pendantic & puerile trolling Tony, I expected more as I assumed you had a better grasp of English.
Can (present tense) not "could I have" implies that it has not happened yet.
So now being ex entitlement of course you part sell your shares your shares to cover your right purchase. The settlement will play out before the monies for the entitlement are due.
Perhaps I should run my posts by you to check they reach your high expectations.

your broker will email you... and all the details will be in a message in your broker account
They do most of the work and they tell you what you have to do...
It is actually quite straight forward ..you basically have to just tell them that you intend to buy the Offer shares and have the cash ready by the date they ask ...that is about it on your part ....they do the rest
They will set up the unpaid offer shares in your account ..which you cant sell yet of course ..it just sits there for now
And you wait until mid Nov and if the vote goes through..you will be credited them into your account ..
just wait for the message tomorrow or next few days ...
Hi Mary and others, never been through this process before, will my share trading platform email me with the offer or will I have to be proactive, thanks in advance, GLA..
Nice one Tony!
Misleading. Depends when they bought them.
Yes you can.
Say I have 100 shares. And accept the off of 25 new shares at £1.15 = £28.75
Can I sell 23 shares @ £1.30 = £29.9 before settlement day to pay for these new shares .
Or do I have to a sell some other shares?
Or dip into savings?
There may be some with no savings or other shares that could pay for the new ones. Or me who doesn't want to sell my other Shares.
