Yeah, papucel “ I just make it up as you do along.”
shatter before you make your comments do you ever look to the wider UK market and the international one, or you just make it up as you do along?
Just looked in and saw the sp. Looks grim. If Oxb don’t get another Astra contract I fear that this is only the start of the drop. Cash burn is scary and they appear to have bought a pig in a poke with very few other revenue streams.
Yes, I agree the markets are in turmoil and could be for a considerable time so where does that leave Oxb?
kernowlad have a look to the rest of the SP even the shares with the best results reported today dropped 4% -7%
It is just hysteria, don't try to rationalise
What has caused this today?
It's a laugh that consolidation was supposed to reduce volatility (they are saying the same over at SAR where it did a same 50:1 on Monday) when we have had many days like this and a steady fall from the recent high.
I haven't heard anything from them about the vaccine so can only assume it is bad news otherwise they could surely have said something along the lines that things were going according to plan without giving any details.
Feel as if this is now not a good bet any more.
The AZ contract is notable by its silence. I previously thought that this was merely a formality but perhaps not! Time will tell but it’s not helping the sp.
I had a very pleasant email response from Sonia which didn't say anything different to Hawkander so I have emailed back stating that other companies do put something out when they think sp movement is unwarranted so when OXB says nothing it can be a cause for concern.
In her response she listed the good things OXB were doing (as per Hawkander) but made no mention of vaccines and AZ so I asked for clarification on the state of the contract as it is now and going forward.
Given the nature of the first response I am hopeful of getting another one and perhaps one that might shed a bit of light.
Will keep this board posted.
Only Oxb could practically break even on a day like today !
Indeed.
All biotech shares being hit though this is one of the heaviest apart from Angle which for some completely inexplicable reason is down over 13% - a FDA leak perhaps that it isn't going to be approved???
Obviously it doesn`t make anything clearer but it`s something to get a response.
They haven't replied to me!
At least they took the time to reply..
Thank you for your email and support.
We don’t tend to comment on share price/valuation however I appreciate the concern, it has been a tough market and OXB has not been left unscathed.
Management remains absolutely focused on achieving goals. Over the past few months we have signed new deals (Arcellx, Cabaletta Bio) as well as announced a significant new transaction with Homology Medicines, which we expect to allow us to expand into the fast-growing area of AAV and build a presence in the US.
The company would not be where it is today without the support of our long term shareholders, it is very much appreciated.
Amazing the difference a day makes. Gl all.
Blue ,Less shares blue , Ukraine concerns number investors returning to cash ,gold .
A nightmare what else can anyone say .
there's market turbulence but there must be
Thanks for that, I will let the BB know if I get a response.

Which email address are you using and I will send one off also and see if they react?
Down nearly 10% at one point. Unbelievable for a company of this size with no news. Good luck with your email..
I have emailed the corporate people so let's see if I get a response and how uninformative it will be if I do.
#metoo!
Sorry to see regulars getting pounded. I sold some time ago but now tempted to buy back in but need to find out why the sp is down here?
I am now well in the red which is something I never expected. Nor did I expect to lose £3 a share after my recent purchase. Perhaps we should all email OXB and ask what is going on or perhaps they are all looking to do a runner as well!
Not a good day for AGL and still waiting on news from FDA, which seems crazy, considering what`s on offer, it`s as if they are playing with people`s lives. OXB has been slaughtered in the past few months and disappointed with the lack of news from the company. GLA
