No RNS . No biggie, just another example of speculation induced minor disappointment.
Head over to HVO board, lse is retiring this one :)
Wishing smooth but also exciting sails under the new name everyone!
If there is some news, where the timing is under ORPH/HVO's control, then it would make sense to associate it with the new brand...
Here's hoping :-)
Name change day tomorrow - perhaps with some news to excite their shareholders
Where did that lot come from? Whole load of medium sized buys pushing price up. Someone’s got wind of impending news maybe!

I've thought that for a long time now, if OO are getting circa £50 million just for Influenza programs, then they could easily replicate that for Covid and then add Malaria and other end to end work on top..the T/O could easily accelerate over the next couple of years...
ORPH / Hvivo offer Covid Challenge Studies:
https://hvivo.com/human-challenge-models/covid-19/
Covid is expected to become part of life - in the same way that influenza is. That means there is potential for ongoing, high value, Covid work.
Take a look through previous RNSs and see how much revenue ORPH gets from influenza studies. Now imagine Covid work in addition to this.
Great, but what has that got to do with ORPH?
The following is taken from a Medscape article (link to full article below). It is US focussed but globally relevant.
The XBB subvariant, currently surging in Singapore, could be a cautionary tale for the U.S., says Eric Topol, MD, founder and director of the Scripps Research Translational Institute in La Jolla, CA, and executive editor of Medscape, WebMD's sister site for medical professionals.
For example, prior to XBB emerging, the COVID reinfection rate in Singapore was 5%. Now it is 17%. "So that means a lot of people who had an infection are going to get hit again," Topol says. Furthermore, Singapore reports 92% of their population is vaccinated and their uptake of boosters is twice the U.S. rate.
"And despite that, they have a very significant wave, which is going to be bigger than anything except the original Omicron," he says.

Thanks moni- appreciated
I've had a response from Walbrook in relation to CF distraction at Reabold Resources..Apparently he's still committed to Open Orphan.. only time will tell in the coming months once the name change is completed and maybe spin offs come back on the table???
Also a considerable amount of buys on Thursday that didn’t push the share price higher. Name change next week, hopefully we’ll see hvivo advertised all over social media and financial platforms plus a positive RNS or two and the start of a sustained upwards rise in the share price.
Suspect it will re rate to 11p or 12p on next to no volume
Relatively heavy buying for last few days and share price continues to drift - it is odd but I’m not bothered long term.

My gut was right here something not adding up - big slump coming
Can’t really be all buys if the share price is slightly south ??? Surely if there’s loads of buys then we’d see 10p+, yet we are not ….

Yes I’ve been watching that, just bought more at 9.50p.
Y
I can sell for 9.6 and buy for 9.5 with Barclays currently....
If that widens a touch then I probably will :-)
Can still sell 500k @9.7p on HL so maybe I should do that and buy them back on IG for less…
Just picked another 30k of shares for just under 9.7. All the best.

I don't think they are... I can still sell 500k at 9.7p (even after these sells) so think they are all sells but there must be a buyer picking them up in the background so expecting a good size buy at some point over the next few days... But only my opinion...
Anyone else think all these trades are buys? Based on the prices I’m being offered (9.66 just now) everything at 9.70 or above looks like buying…

The BoD confirming their proactive efforts to attract II’s and increase exposure in the markets. I’m sure Mo, Stephen Pinkerton and Prof. Openshaw will deliver a compelling presentation.
Feels like the beginning of turning tide.

So maybe not focusing on spin-outs quite as much as we thought then. lol
Cathal is one of a party of 4 asking for an EGM to take control of Reabold Resources, an oil exploration company.
Last post: shandypants2, 19 Oct 2022 12:37
yes, glad he mentioned the malaria CS amongst others as this was added about a year ago and as of yet no contracts have been announced.
Never overly impressed by Leo in presentations, so hopefully this change is a positive one, in the same way Mo has been.
A very positive interview with the new CFO...sounds very bullish on the business and new potential contracts in the pipeline...slowly slowly.....GLA

Any chance you could avoid it somewhere else.
:)
So CEO Mo puts £50k hard cash into ORPH but silverhorse is far more knowledgeable than Mo so he is avoiding it. Hmm yes think we’d all better follow the trolls on this one!
Going to avoid this at the moment not convinced this is not a de-ramp - something not adding up here

Hey HallsWorthy - was there any more detail from the Telegram group about large buys pending?
HallsWorthy
I’m not in the Telegram group, any idea if the large buys got filled or are some still outstanding moving into tomorrow?.
The telegram group has flagged some very large buys sitting with the market makers at the moment, one to watch today!

I'm just going to keep adding whenever I get free funds. Human nature to buy when the price action gets going but buying in these quiet phases is far more sensible.

Hi moniman - Am just 1 silverhorse that always wins races - I know very little about this stock - i do not see the big hit some very good database that POLB has for 20 years !
I see Stt1 has rebranded himself as Silverhorse..and bought Johnnyy and a couple of others over from ADVFN...
What could be the big hit here?
Aldebaran,
Why did you have to ask your Mum?
Pleased with this, guy was deeply unimpressive in any presentations I saw.
Last post: Rickylfc5, 18 Oct 2022 08:01
Where’s our friend Stt1 (Sikh on ADVFN) who posted endless messages about Orph being a pump and dump whilst Totally was the dogs knackers - TLY market cap has sunk below Orph’s (with a profit warning) - he’s very quiet
Last post: Johnnyy, 17 Oct 2022 17:13
Moniman you still wear a mask and socially distance lad. Dont lecture about 'knowing some tings'
Done, have a green box above my comment so I suspect it’s him typing more cr ap lol.
Unfortunately in the past few weeks we have attracted some un researched morons who have also got onto the Poolbeg board as well...just filter...
Did everyone pay 28p? Jeez
Another idiot in the filter box.

You seem tetchy. Uptight?
well, POLG are definitely are researching flu vaccines mate.
R U OK?
The universal flu vaccine is nothing to do with Polb, do you understand anything about this company at all?
What did OO 'lose' when they sold POLB. Does OO still have any attachment to the much touted 'Holy Grail' uni-flu vaccine or is that POLB's now?
Thanks Timber for sharing. Good to hear LT holders still holding on in such a material way!

Thanks Hotchip. Another vote of confidence from experienced investors who understand the markets and recognise the huge potential of both ORPH and POLB.
So we've had Directors buying shares in both OO (soon to be Hvivo) and Poolbeg..two analysts and two stock pickers who are very bullish on both companies, yet here we are near 12 month lows..looks like all the investors have tucked their cash under the mattress or bought some premium bonds..:-))...one day soon...

Is that Moni sticking up for the second hand car salesmen again? He's like a faithful hound!
What happened to Ash the troll. He's eventually right and he doesnt come back to claim his prize. Strange
That made my chuckle - good point!
Wish i had got a error message before i bought into this Turkey.
Seeing a major bargain at these prices and being less than impressed with the sad demise in the share price are not mutually exclusive sentiments.
Consistently not enough daily volume.

Don't forget Poolbeg only have 12 months of free access to our database I believe so anything after that has to be paid for along with anyone else as it would be part of DIM? Don't write off OO..there's lots going on behind the scenes...Aimho Adyor!
This day last year share price 20.5p now 9.5p great investment i must say - truth hurts, ok they will swing profits yearend 2022 but what are the asets really worth now that poolbeg got the good ones - only asking good questions but people are sitting on paper losses makes there minds cloud over !
Lol
Silverhorse, you should stick to your over enthusiastic posts on Poolbeg instead of adding to the nonsense already posted here by the likes of Johnnyy, Stt1 and Desertstar etc...we really don't need another idiot on here at the moment..why don't you just go onto 50 other boards and make up a share price you'd like to buy at..how.about Vod @10p or Tsco @ 20p...looks like your heading into the filter bin along with the other loonies!

pretty weird to be pumping poolbeg and trolling open orphan. Each to their own I guess, but just makes you sound like a total muppet
Can it hold much longer at this price 9.5p - to get some interest my need to fall 6p all agree?
Shandy..That sounds about right, so along with the £600,000 CF spent since the original Hvivo deal etc he's stumped up circa £2.5 million in total of his own cash which I think he eluded to during previous interviews. So Strictly you are way off the mark with your earlier assumptions..CF has pumped a lot of his own cash in here..
Adding to CF's purchase i think the bulk of his shares were at the time Venn acquired OO (or vice versa). The money from that was at a placing of 5.6p and CF was a main contributor - he mentioned at the time he has put a large % of his savings into the company. He then added at a later placing of 6.1p and a few more at 26.5p last year. Not saying he didn't get any free shares but the bulk was at 5.6p
Lots of Green boxes today I wonder who it is Johnnyy our new troll or Stt1 the old troll...probably the same one????

Don’t know what you are on about, read my post properly. I have been invested here for a long time, I haven’t invested based on what other investors are doing, my post was commenting on what’s happened short term (last 3 months or so) and what’s happened over the last 12/18 months.
Please read and understand the posts before hitting the keyboard ffs.
Y moni posting fake quotes? at least im filtered now. Maybe he'll stop following me.
Colin, the fact that you question a stock based on what other people do with their trades suggests you are making investment decisions on the wrong criteria
Johnnyy, you've shown your modus operandi on the FLX board, a self declared trader who is just around to cause annoyance on BB's as part of your 'day trading strategy, need I say anymore. Filtered.
