Extremely underwhelming presentation for me. Axis is a flop, so is Zenakine at this moment in time, we’ve spent £700k to get confirmation that one figure was falsified, no mention of any further interest in our IP, the much lauded fella from Croda gone. Some were critical of the modest acquisitions, but without them where would we be? Cashflow a positive yes, but I’ve honestly come away from this very downbeat, I wish it wasn’t so. We’re years from any meaningful revenue and thus share price change. Lucky I’m on holiday and can start drinking.

Must be the platform. Have been able to buy and sell on HL all morning and was able to 10 seconds ago.

So was the £769k totally made up or ‘just’ in the wrong accounting period? Are we receiving any meaningful revenue from Croda a full 14 months after launch? Is Zenakine slow to take off or a damp squib? Unacceptable lack of clarity for me. Only good thing is all the incompetents have left the building. Remains to be seen whether the new lot are any better.

You could say they’ve been incompetent and pulling the wool over our eyes for the past 5 years (and got away with it) looking at the state of the business/share price.

Also just for the record there are thousands upon thousands of board members and non execs that are absolutely useless but still keep getting jobs. It’s the way the system works.

Pleased that she’s had the time to tout herself around and interview whilst (still) overseeing this debacle. Couldn’t be happier for her!

I hold both. I wish I didn’t. No idea which way SBTX will go when suspension is lifted, but how anyone can believe a word SOH says is truly incredible. Spat my tea out at ‘laser focused’. Hilarious.

Unfortunately I wasn’t risk averse at all. If I’d put it into Vanguard 100% equity I’d be sitting on a big profit, I didn’t, and I’m sitting on a big loss. That’s just a mistake, pure and simple. I won’t be making this mistake again.

Have to hope for the best Toyin, our hands are tied at the moment anyway. As soon as I (hopefully ) see an upturn in my investment here, I’ll be out. It has taken me far too long to realise individual stocks, especially on AIM, is a mugs game. My funds have had a barnstorming year but I am being dragged down by two big positions on AIM. I will learn!

Rebarm, I understand your concern and think those that aren’t concerned have lost their marbles. No-one is talking about pulling the plug, of course Croda are pushing it, they need to sell it, we’re talking about why there is not even a hint of one of the big boys using it? If this product is so fantastic and first mover status is so crucial and they’ve had it for three years, where are the products? Every day that passes says to me that whilst it may not exactly be a flop, it’s not going to be the blockbuster some claim. I sincerely hope I am wrong.

Why do people feel the need to tell us they bought a few shares? Who do they think is interested?

Got to admit I initially thought this must be misconduct of a ‘personal’ nature as surely no one thinks they can get away with financial impropriety in a publicly listed company (note I say get away with, not try) but with it being so close to results it’s making me reconsider.

I don’t always agree with him but Toyin adds something of substance every time he posts, you on the other hand just talk for the sake of it. A ramper with clearly no value to add. There’s only one person we should be filtering here.

I’m not sure it’s as much of a disaster as some think but obviously really difficult to get an accurate picture. The question that needs answering is why on earth did anyone think it would be a success without a single dime spent on promotion? I get we don’t have a marketing budget but surely that’s what Superdrug bring to the table? I’m not sure if people have been into one of those stores lately but it’s an assault on the senses, literally thousands of products. Almost impossible for a new product to make an impact without money spent on advertising/promotion.

It did make me laugh (or was it cry) when people were going on about ‘just let Croda do their job, they know what they’re doing’ etc. 10 year low. Yup, we’re in great hands aren’t we. Their pace is pathetic.
