I was listening again to the investor call and notice that when results of a drill hole are complete they are released to OMI. That does not impact on news flow as in any event they cannot announce results from a hole which has not been fully completed. The limited access to data which is released quarterly is the geochemistry data and geophysics. Drilling results should drop anytime now with the number of samples which have been submitted to the Lab.
RP - Go to Orosur website, go to investor centre - presentations and then listen to the January investor call. Listen around 29 mins.
Looking at the share price and remembering when people were outraged that they had not been allowed to participate in the placing at 17p. With some milestones after that time it is mad to be at 11.28p, but it was in the past a good area to build positions. It is clear that the rich news period is about to start. With the problems at the lab sorted, the backlog of assays at the lab and three rigs drilling, we should start to get drilling results much more often. Hopefully next Tuesday is the first. It will be three weeks next week since investor’s call so we could receive some news about new JVS too. Watch this space
Should be next Tuesday we will get a juicy RNS and seeing Brad has gone to look at our lovely new sites wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t buy 200,000 shares at this price.
Hi Webbs. Hopefully next week. We didn't get our two monthly Colombia update last month. Expecting this next one could be special. I've got everything crossed that it is. Should be quite a lot of information in next update, what with them doing the rounds in South America. Surprised not seeing a bit of a rise in price in anticipation for this yet.
Yes, I’m also expecting / hoping this is a pivotal one for the company and us shareholders. As you say it should have plenty of information to say the least. Not sure when it will drop, maybe after the meeting with Agnico at Anza when he will be in possession of more in depth info in regards to sampling, licenses, drilling, assays, expectations and future planning.
You would of thought the rinse and repeat crew would be buying back in today. Let’s see.
Another little chunk bought today while still possible at this level. Things are likely to get lively here very soon
It is coming to two weeks since Brad and Louise are venturing in South America. I knew, Tin deal was as good as done long before it was officially confirmed. At the same time, from the AGM, I know they're working on at the advance stage with other venture in Argentina (don't have the detail).
Brad to have a special meeting in Colombia to negotiate "news rights" with Agnico as what's material news to them may not be the same for OMI shareholders and it is important to grab some rights back in tune with our expectations. Let's see how that unfolds.
Dec 23rd AGM stated that the permit for other licences may still take months although Agnico is keen to get it going ASAP and they're pressing hard to get it through, however for any reason if it does take longer than anticipate, they'll execute plan B to explore 15kms of rugged Pupino and Pepas territories having seen attractive sample results (I assume). In the meantime, 3 rigs has been drilling around 100 samples each days since December and lab's scenario has significantly improved to near normal (so they say). And they'll continue to expand Apta and Aragon fault.
Lets see, some news or update is expected in a week or so(?).
Brad to organise another meeting with in Feb, I think (based on what he said earlier through emails).
I remain optimistic and hope to add more...now and till 50p.
Gl.
RP- As long as I remember (either email, AGM or Webinar), he did mentioned that he'll organize a meeting in Jan soon after he's in London on his way to SA and back in Feb. And Louise also said- new website and presentations, once the things are bit more clearer after their visit to Brazil, Argentina and Colombia.
Let's see.
