Reflective reflection - laughing at my own poor word smithing. Hopefully you get the gist anyhow.
This bb is more like an agony aunt's page. The knicker wetting daily is hilarious!! Supposed investors needing their hands held every day. Get a grip will you. Oh! Because the govt haven't decided yet then don't expect them to be doing 2m by next week. Doh!!
"Oh! Because the govt haven't decided yet then don't expect them to be doing 2m by next week. Doh!!"
No, but when they wanted a good price for a crony selloff, they were quite happy to put news out on twitter that they would deliver 2M test a week, when it was clear they had no chance of doing so, now people are seeing that for just what it was a blatant ramp of the SP and nothing more.
I agree with Nelsonthedog.
There was time when i thought i knew what the plan was for ODX, step by step so ODX could start selling one or other of its covid tests. I am now more confused than ever! Are the sands behind the scenes shifting and timelines changing without PIs knowing, or are they still the same as before.
The 2 m per week production at end of month or early May is probably a given but who's tests are we manufacturing and who are we selling ? often discussed yet still not confirmed. If we have to wait for another 8-12 weeks for yet another test to be TT and CEd etc, i think ill bail and wait on the side lines. Its now end of April 21 there needs to some update on the vision and opportunity, if only to confirm to investors like me what the state of play is at this often quoted significant date in the company calendar. Its called an update.
@Vascular, @NelsontheDog et all
Anyone who feels they are being left in the dark should actively communicate that to the company, for what it will be worth !
I think Colin genuinely thought he had his strategy right, he took flak for not ramping up the £374M contract, he duly goes the other way once he thinks the Mologic TT is complete and his PR go to town resulting with
#inColinwetrust, the Omega team truly believed they had cracked it.
However the variants/ coupled with Mologic partnering with Avacta to produce a reputed 100% accurate test resulted in events outside Colin’s control.
It does look like the standalone Mologic test is not coming to the market but we will be manufacturing a test with the Mologic/ Avacta biotech for the Government - if it’s as good as claimed.
It will come through for ODX in the end but realistically we have a wait now for maybe 12 weeks including TT before we can generate any income from an Antigen LFT assuming we get confirmation from the Government in the next couple of weeks.
"I think Colin genuinely thought he had his strategy right, he took flak for not ramping up the £374M contract, "
No one asked him to ramp the rns. however if you can't deliver great news that everyone had been waiting months for in a non negative way then it questions competence in looking after shareholders interests. Sorry but the price is where it is solely because of him.
