Just announced, they owe ODX around £800,000 if I recall correctly.
https://www.investegate.co.uk/abingdon-health-plc--abdx-/rns/dhsc-payment-received/202207071251347091R/
The exact number and situation is as follows, it seems ODX will now receive this sum of money.
'The Company is still owed £628k by Abingdon Health which fell due prior to February 2021 and which is expected to be received in full once Abingdon have concluded a settlement with DHSC'
There should be interest on that, yes I know that ABDX did not have the money from GOV, but that is not ODX's concern, the contract was between ABDX and ODX, and ABDX is 18 months late in paying for goods that were supplied on time at an agreed price.
Twatch- About £75,000 interest then.
Does that mean you've bought some shares here?
One would expect the CFO of ODX will be getting on the phone to Abingdon Health to chase the money that rightfully belongs to Omega, no doubt there may be late payment penalties involved.
One expects there are a number of upcoming catalysts that could restore some confidence, one thing I do know is the company is materially undervalued and when markets eventually recover there should be a re-rate to reflect ever improving events.
Management seem to be getting on with the job which is exactly what they said they would do.
If some of you think Circa £600k is going to propell the SP:Give your head a wobble(Hopefully Colin signed the agreement!!
Trader - So sale of CD4 will be a significant payment after several companies bidding. There will also be a Royalty stream payment. After the sale there will be a £300,000 a month saving from the losses. This totals £3.6million saving a year. The Alva site has been sold which is also a saving.
The remaining part of the company Health and Nutrition showed a profit. This profit will be increased as we have been told that ODX are Concentrating on this part. Win, win, win, win, win.
Trader do you know what the Food print part is? Is this the food intolerance part?
The payment from Abingdon is not that much but is enough to stop any need for the use of an overdraft especially with the savings being made and the therefore profits being made.
When the government dispute is sorted and we know for sure one way or the other about the payment.
The fact that this company will then be generating profit and not making a loss will send the share price moving upwards.
The temporary overdraft safety net facility will not be required and things will be alot better than last year before covid when the price was 7p as what you stated earlier.
Don't forget at that time there was an overdraft and things seem alot better now than what they were then.
Pumpky-Yes that payment will not increase the share price by much but collectively with the other points I have just posted puts us in a very good position I think. I think alot more people are realising this also.
Pumpky do you know if any more of the £6.3million payment Abingdon has received has to go to any other members of the consortium. Just asking, maybe someone associated with Abingdon should find out and confirm for your other shareholders
Calder the problem with buckie and others is they've sold out at great loss and bought into other aim stocks to try and recoup so have no cash to jump back into odx when a turnaround occurs. Result is they hang around here shouting and hoping it goes bust to stroke their egos they did the right thing selling out. You can sense their anger at the position they've got themselves into. Others chanced it and averaged down. This one has turned a corner with their rns on cd4, and the payment pending from abdx. Looking much better here for a re-rate.
What like Captain , don't understand him supposed to have been invested here, but instead constantly talking against his investment. Sheer stupidity really
"If some of you think Circa £600k is going to propell the SP:"
it will keep the directors in wages for a bit..............and that is all that matters
Caley2.........." You can sense their anger at the position they've got themselves into"
Caley you are a donut who is sitting here with stock worth 3p and criticising someone who got out at 12p.
Yes there is one person that should be angry at the position they are in and it ain't me you spanner. You are clinging onto the hope that this will turn around. No guarantees or certainties just pure speculation.
PS. You are correct that I do have other investments on the go at present which are doing okay at present even in this dire economic climate. I have just checked my account and due to most of my cash being tucked up in other stock, at the current price of 3.2p to buy, I can only currently afford to buy around 4 million ODX shares. I won't be buying this stock however and if it ever reaches 13p you can chirp that I was a fool to have sold (Though even that is not really a fair comparison as that recouped money has already increased in value as I have invested it in far stronger stock)
Just interested buckie why did you call yourself after the buckfast drink ? Just curious as sure you could buy better with your 12p.
You're annoyed as I called it correct with your trading position eh buckfast. Tried to make up your heavy losses on other aim stocks which I'll guess are down so you're trapped in them too and unable to take advantage of an odx re-rate. Afraid I've seen your type many times on aim. Learn the game as they say.
I sense your confusion CALEY2, I am starting to understand that you are generally confused......
1.Check your stock.
2.Check the price
3.Scratch your confused head and say (in your head not out loud)" Why am I still holding this dog sh*t share and why didn't I offload higher up"
4. I better go onto the BB and ramp it up every hour on the hour as I am desperate for this to turn.
"as I called it correct"
You are good at calling it correct Caley2.....which is why you still hold ODX at 3.1p to sell.
You sure are confused. What do you do when you are not on these boards telling better traders than you what to do..... I suppose you are teaching Ronaldo how to play football.!
Buckfast, saw through you like a window. Bet you don't sleep tonight worrying about missing the odx rise. No money left, no knowledge, still laughing at your sharedealing knowledge from earlier. 12p, priceless !!!
I will be back tomorrow to post the price whilst content in the knowledge that there is zero stress on me as I don't hold this dog sh*t stock.
You however can watch the price through squinted eyes daily and wonder why you are starting to hate the colour red so much.
"Twatch- About £75,000 interest then.
Does that mean you've bought some shares here?"
What the because I stated a fact that you liked....hardly.
Twatch- OK then trot along if your not interested in a stock which will soon be showing a decent profit.
Twatch CD4 has been sold for a significant payment.
Significant is sufficiently great or important to be worthy of attention. So the payment is sufficiently great or Important to be worthy of attention.
The days of your persistent negative points have surely stopped and the only way now is positive and forward.
Royalty stream payment as well so continual payments for sales of tests.
Demand, yes there is a demand the tests were approved by W. H. O. so you cant argue with that.
Sorry Twatch to be sold not has been sold
