I’ll save my Christmas messages for tomorrow, there’s a whole ‘nother day of trading to be had! Well half a day anyway.
Haha happy Christmas to the lot of you, hope it’s fun/peaceful/merry/ whatever you want it to be :)
Happy Christmas to you all. Thanks to Kaeren, Exmex, Larry and others for some brilliant research. Particular thanks to Wilson for attending the AGM. Onwards and upwards I hope.
Well he won't be pregnant;) but perhaps that is wrong too ;) happy Christmas Exmex x and Harchris x
I seem to have been selective ( not intentionally )
Hi Kaeren, there's a new job for a product development engineer with Yourgene health Canada that has been posted this week .It looks like they are aiming to develop additional features with the Ranger Tech and new assays as well .

Hope this post doesn't get removed by some sensitive soul.
Merry Christmas Kaeren and all the positive regulars...
Bah Humbug to the rest :)
And a "Merry Xmas" to you too Kaeren, and thanks to all you have mentioned for all the valued posts during the past year.
I've enjoyed reading them all and really haven't been able to add any valued comments, so I've been quiet.
Let's hope 2024 will be the year we are all hoping for.
'Any money due to Yourgene is money Novacyt won't have to invest in Yourgene products.'
Novacyt won't be limited by waiting for that deal to complete , it is irrelevant , they have sufficient cash to progress plans re Yourgene in any way they so desire , their is no correlation between the two imo.
Lynn Rees will be knocking down doors to increase Ygens footprint ... good.
Happy Christmas

Whilst I was a bit disappointed at the time it was made clear by James McCarthy that we shouldn’t be expecting any sort of update til January, so we’ve not been misled at least.
I’m fairly comfortable that the sort of figure needed cash-wise will be modest and inline with the sort of sums YG had been raising prior to the acquisition. You don’t pay such a premium to market price if you believe that company needs the same amount again just to reach positive cash generation.
Agreed though, Jan’s an important update.
Any money due to Yourgene is money Novacyt won't have to invest in Yourgene products.
I'm uncomfortable not knowing how much Novacyt have had to find to invest in Yourgene since acquisition on 08.09.2023.
In the new year, the sp will be partly dependent on the drop in Novacyt funds due to funding the Yourgene business.
I sincerely hope that we see that SLS will have markedly increased sales of Primerdesign / Genesig products since August.

I did. Like with most of these things they tend to take longer than expected but the restructure is complete and they are now just waiting for the relevant approvals. Seeing as NCYT are in absolutely no rush to receive that sort of money what with their cash position I see the update as nothing but a reminder that it'll be received at some point in 2024.
Anyway, not the rns anyone was waiting for.
No - a significant proportion is contingent - read the original RNS
Alan, it's something I've been talking about for a month. I'm also no chartist but it's obvious to any observant long term holder that Novacyt hasn't previously seen this sort of slow and steady climb before, and without any news to help maintain the momentum. For the first time it feels like each support is well won before the next move up.
And as no-one's mentioned it yet here's today's rns: https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/NCYT/update-on-taiwan-laboratory-disposal-ok280bnsm848uvk.html
It appears the transaction hasn't quite gone through yet but good to be reminded of this ~£3.2m cash that will be received in the new year.
Alandale welcome to the club , enjoy your day, I'm hoping I'm wrong but think we will have our day in court.
Not a big chart fan but i did look at the 3 month chart and looks quite good with the rise from Oct 25 40p region and bouncing off supports but keeps rising( must be a name for all that) but i am sure if you look you will understand
I do like tea leaves in my tea but yet to make any sense of what they tell me
