Its a sell. Not saying that won't be cancelled but two net off and one sale remaining.
Van V - I do like that analogy to hitting a six off last ball :)
Troublesome, haha wasn’t aware of that version, don’t think that would have gone down too well at my old school during poetry recital, got in enough trouble selling mice from my desk!!
Dont believe google, official lse website showing 440. Should open around there tomorrow.
Remember Spike Milligan:
I must go down to the sea gain
To the lonely sea and sky.
I left my vest and socks there.
I wonder if they're dry.
Well well now look at the Sp , what a surprise.
My favourite poem, Sea Fever by John Masefield
I must down to the sea again:)
Wilson63 - I only came across this poet recently but her words resonated with me. I found this poem quite moving coming from a seafaring background. Enjoy!
Very in fashion Troublesome especially Rose Gold and in interiors , perhaps I will find some homely touches for my tent.
You beat me to it Wilson I too screen shot it, thank you. I might be camping at this rate but that's a happy place also. The finest things in life can't be bought. Love my country. Will print that Naewise very uplifting. K
Two of them net off, so there is only one actual trade. £530k though, bit of a whopper. I'm inclined to think its been worked through the day, and is probably a buy. It would explain the strong price over the last hour and a half.
Rose coloured glasses are never made in bifocals.
Nobody wants to read the small print in dreams.
121,700 @ 437p has to be a buy.
Porky, for a start when the SP plummeted to its lowest level for ten months you would have seen TR1s flying through the stable doors while you were snouting a take over? That hasn’t materialised so far!!
As far as the piggy going to market snouting out out to newbies that this is going to £54? Why did you choose that particular figure? Pigs might fly!!!
And rubbishing GM the way you have? Contracts run into problems at some point, you must be aware of this if you really are a director of two companies.
I did admire your enthusiasm initially but more for the entertainment value with pig in the sky valuations.
Take a moment to reflect what you write, put that curly tail between your legs and simmer down and be a bit more constructive with facts. We all know this was oversold, has fantastic fundamentals and a vision for the future to be not just mid cap, also active in the focus on aquisitions rather than hold all the cash in the bank!!
Anyone seen the 3 x late trades? Buys or sells, I think one is cancelled.
VanV my legs have been done also but it certainly wasn't by Porky. The majority of this responsible have disappeared under the cover of darkness.
Naewise I have screen shot your poem and going to seek it out later frankly it's another version of high road/low road to me and deeply relevant to me, Thank you.
We choose our own investments.
I’d rather be uplifted by posts than depressed by them.
We separate real helpful info from froth.
Or we should not invest.
I for one never invest because of something someone I’ve never met says on a chatboard!!
@JokerDC,
I think the world needs both and especially this board.
Everyone is an individual and has much to add.
Its totally unrealistic and can be quite harmful, leaving one open to abuse to be looking at the world through rose tinted glasses all the time.
I don’t have Porks down as a Walter Mitty type character Van V - more of a ‘that bloke you love down the cricket club who chants “we’re gonna win the league” when his team only loses by 9 wickets. It’s infinitely preferable to your condesending, turning pages on a thesaurus for words that weren’t needed in order to sound clever approach.
Firmly in camp porks. The world needs more porks than they do Van V’s
There were plenty of others that led people down to the cliff edge. The twitter gang being a fine example. Most here enjoy the enthusiasm of Porky and anyone that took heed of any of his predictions shouldn't be dabbling in the market.
The constant picking on Porky by VanV is quite concerning. Not sure which way it is going but things like this can escalate to something more serious if they are not nipped in the bud!
@Kaeren. I know the feeling well! ''Oh tell me what was on your road, ye roarin’ norlan’ Wind,
As ye cam’ blawin’ frae the land that’s niver frae my mind?
My feet they traivel England, but I’m deein’ for the north.
My man, I heard the siller tides rin up the Firth o Forth” From Norlan Wind by Angus poet Violet Jacob as most NCYT shareholders will have known :)
Love the sea , when I retire it will be somewhere adjacent to it , with a superb view. The coast is my happy place, going back to my roots.
old boilers tend lose efficiency over time however not as much so if they are well maintained. We are talking about gas boilers right?
@Kaeren - so true.
In addition, the wind and the waves are always on the side of the ablest navigator.
Bon Voyage.
