Five-year contract extension with Illumina
Manchester, UK - 26 July 2023: Yourgene (AIM: YGEN), a leading international molecular diagnostic group, announces that it has signed a five-year contract extension with Illumina Inc. ("Illumina"). The contract is a restated licence and supply agreement for Yourgene's sequencing based NIPT IVD products, which will now run until September 2028.
The restated licence provides seamless continuity for existing customers and allows Yourgene to continue its product development roadmaps for NIPT and other future applications in the field of precision medicine, as the Company looks to further penetrate key international markets such as Americas, UK, Europe and Australia.
Lyn Rees, Chief Executive Officer of Yourgene, commented: "We are delighted to continue our partnership with Illumina following a successful five years of working together to date. This provides us with a good opportunity to further develop exciting market opportunities in NIPT across many key markets."

Err, thanks ValJu the reason I post is to share my experience, is it negative, positive? It's just to stay aware, look around. Stay woke might be misinterpreted.
No one is I doubt, but what keeps me going, is the likes of Poidster, Kaeren, HarChris, Larrry, with down to earth researched factual posts, plus a few who plod on like myself, waiting for dhsc conclusion!
Whether you paid 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1, or indeed down to 30’s pence or up to 90’s pence you have only to keep patient (difficult as we all have off days) & believe, & hold until recovery / profit, or sell & take any loss on chin.
The ONE thing above all else is make your OWN decision, dont listen to negative or positive posters on here, as they will all have a reason why they post as such!

I expect the positivity will continue tomorrow as more buyers will be attracted to the FOMO and expecting news to drop on Thursday - if there is any news to deliver!!

Spread has always been sporadic - it’s all about timing and supply/demand.
As if by magic it has now reduced to 3.12%. Still too high....
Is it just me or is the spread just ridiculous here. Over 6% is a real put off.

I'm a lTH and quite frankly Gizzmo don't believe a word , a single word P100 writes. Each to their own. Don't believe he holds or has ever held.
The DHSC dispute and bear mkt has enabled him/her to push their agenda out relentlessly.
To me a colossal change in so far as money not ring fenced , Ncyt have finally opened the coffers and personally think we may well see further acquisitions to supplement organic growth.
This is reflective imo of their confidence re concluding the dispute in a manner which enables Novacyt to continue trading ( which is a worst case scenario )
I suspect we may see information flowing on a much more regular basis once any planned acquisitions are concluded.
Re recent sp movements , those I chat to believe a reason for the rise , I think the reason is simply sentiment changing , the known acquisition and what that means re cash being Novacyt 's to spend as they so desire , the fact it will accelerate organic growth and the possibility there may well now be further acquisitions in the very near future.
All looking a lot more positive then a month ago. As ever DYOR.

Hi mostin ...what is the share rise based on ...and what news will keep at this level or push higher .....more speculators have invested which is good for long term holders who are smart and cautious and absorb all information or opinions to make gains and avoid biases towards people

No plan here, just devastating losses. I won’t apologise for calling out the appalling performance of the company and the board over the past two years. Acquisition aside, don’t forget we are 7/12 through the year and have no idea what the 2023 forecast looks like. All we have to go on is Q1 figures which ended 4 months ago, which is appalling.

Indeed HC, which is what makes me super sceptical. The last 100%+ rise we had ended with the price being below where it started. But agreed that a nice steady rise and consolidation is needed. A boom like yesterday and a settling as appears to be happening now, levelled out a bit today but still +10% so can’t argue. I expected serious red today.
You get hammered 10PI100 because you have hammered this share with over 2000 posts of negativity over the past 19 months with your sneaky agenda
It's certainly the case that we've seen 100% rises over a matter of trading days on more than a handful of occasions and it's possible we see that again.
I'll be happy if the share price settles around this level now, anywhere between 60p and 70p for a little while until the acquisition goes through and further progress / updates are released. No rush to get back above a pound and would rather simply see a higher trading range and a floor put in around here vs wild daily swings.
