Here comes the dump then.
3.3m revenue in 6 months.
Wilson, no probs, it's certainly better than having a bloody great needle stuck into you belly, and all the dangers that come along with amnio.
Davand even better ten weeks

Tks for your input again helps navigate round things.
They can test for this at around 12 weeks I believe. It's not a pregnancy test kit.
Nipt is a simple blood test that does away with the dangerous amnio centesis method.
They are producing a pregnancy test that is an advancement on peeing on a stick. Definitely preferable but not comparable.
Not sure what Israel has to do with it?
Giz, totally different type of test. Ygens Iona Nipt tests for things like down syndrome.
Hi davand....haven't Abbingdon gone into production of pregnancy test ... Sold off shelf through superdrug ....Israel always a srtep ahead .....rock scissors paper ..context
Kaeren, Ncyt will already have a slice, and this will only get better, especially if/ when the Ranger technology gets more traction. It was only soft launched last year and it's already pulling in multi millions. I'm sure you'll hear the term "size selection" plenty more when you take over.
According to Rees, a lot of the bigger boys are or have left the Nipt scene. Some patent litigation with one or two companies, not ygen though.
Tks Davand, for those interested here is the original agreement Rns from 2018 note that it is using Yourgenes previous name but still with LR at the helm

Wilson, he won't want to rock the boat. He has his preferred deal with Ncyt. Doesn't want other potential suitors to come sniffing.
Also they have Ambry genetics in the USA who are selling Ygens Nipt tests. Big company Ambry. Should do well.
Eye-watering, a slice would be nice.

Exmex that's an interesting read Tks
Davand, do you know why(as yet?)
Iona is not available in USA? as it seems a really good product.
Hi KT, it's worth having a look at the Vantage Market Research report into the prenatal genetic testing market.
For a bit if clarity Ygen make a Nipt test that works on the Illumina and Thermo Fischer sequencing platforms. Those two massive companies control over 90% of the globe and Ygen have a product that works on both platforms, unique to Ygen, nobody else has this.
Kilkenny, it's more about the next five years. Nipt income must be pushing £9/10M, and growing. Not sure about the actual figure but Ygen make a specific Nipt test that only goes on Illumina machines. As Illumina has in place the majority of the global market rgds these sequencing machines then there is plenty of scope to grow too. So bottom line is this contract will be worth multi millions imo.
He's got what he wants rgds a deal that suits him. Won't want to rock the boat with good contracts that might get other suitors interested maybe.
It's been radio silence for a long time, even when there has been occasions he could and should put out an rns he didn't. He didn't want the sp any higher so he could get this lowball through imo.
It's good news for Ncyt though.
Davand. Any idea of the values involved? How much revenue has this deal brought in over the past 5 years?
Morning Davand you said
"Nice contract extension with Illumina though. I bet he hated having to announce it."
Why?
Saint, spot in there about Rees. He can't be trusted on top of being useless. There's a shareholder ( Andyken) who's in the process of getting a legal action against Rees and the BOD.
Nice contract extension with Illumina though. I bet he hated having to announce it.
Saint -
If Lynn Rees stays longer than a few months, JM will be watching his budget spend like a hawk.
Another positive start in France. Good to see airline boy and a few old timers back posting, a bit of positivity in the air?
It wasnt as dig, just a factual reply Miln.... no offence meant.
