WBAFC, I have said it before and will say it again you are either delusional or smoking something, as much as I would like £5.00.
What do you think the share price will be after the court case WBA?
The very tests rejected by DHSC were then given to WHO to use , which means the DHSC have absolutely no chance of winning the case, because the WHO do not take any tests that are not scientifically credible . Novacyt want to go to court , to clear their reputation, and demand full payment with interest. I am looking at £5+ / share following court case.
The tests were returned to WHO , which means the DHSC have of absolutely no chance of winning the case. That's why Novacyt what to go to court , clear their reputation and demand full payment with interest. I am looking at £5 / share following court case
It will be interesting when Ajun Rejinald takes the stand.
@neil, I agree
The returned tests were given to the WHO if I remember correctly.
The whole thing stinks tbh.
These tests had a shelf life, at what point, conveniently, did the government decide that these tests were not fit for purpose. Not that it was possible for the tests to be returned, not as if NCYT could have sold the tests on to another organisation, did the DHSC follow the agreed process for resolving an issue and within the agreed timeline.
It would appear that it was many months into the contract, before the DHSC raised a flag.
OK, I'd love to see the evidence of that from DHSC.
Maybe they have it,maybe they don't but if I were the defence barrister for Nova, I would be asking very probing questions.
I get the impression now that Gov is looking for sacrificial lambs to try to claw back money.
Considering the utter profligacy the gov was guilty of at the time, esp PPE, they should be going after them, not a company that actually helped in a real and tangible way.
Tbh I've no idea which way this will go, I know what I know, based on first hand experience.
I share my experiences on here, I think its terrible what the gov/DHSC are doing, but then, I've got a vested interest.
Nothing this shabby government does anymore will surprise me.
Novacyt were called and responded in good faith to the pandemic.
DHSC approved it, now reneging.
I still maintain that this is on DHSC/Government.
If they now state it wasn't fit for purpose, why was it approved?
DHSC knew everything about it, they had the IFU, they knew how exacting the preparation process was, its written in black and white.
Nothing was hidden from them,
They knew all this and distributed it.
Soo they were fully furnished with all the info.
It's a bit rich now to come back and say it didn't work. It did, DHSC/TVG said so.
All that said, who knows how the court case will go.
Fair and equitable doesn't seem to be a core tenent of our legal system anymore.
They will need to unequivocally prove that it's a faulty test.
Considering its passed TVG and CDTA assessment, how can they now say it doesn't work.
Makes no sense, at all, to me.
But what do I know 🤔
Not suggesting that they were faulty.....just emphasising what's written into the contract, clearly the DHSC is suggesting that the tests were faulty.
They weren't faulty
The question really is would it be actually worth acquiring Genedrive? Would they actually bring any big contracts ?
Supplier’s maximum liability with any Authority claim under this warranty shall be to replace the faulty Goods free of charge or refund to the Authority the full costs for such faulty Goods paid by the Authority to the Supplier if replacement is not possible.
Promate was developed and later coprep, to make it easier to use.
They didn't change how the test worked, they just made it a little more idiot proof
Hi poidster ...they would give me a paddle and I would be happy ....until a wave .....the paddle is then ...........Asked ......the legal right of return changes if you ask .....60/40
@giz,
If you bought a canoe, but you used a spoon instead of a paddle like you were told to, what would the shop do if you took it back saying it didn't work 🤔
*** packet calculations of £7 - £10 million
Hi neilrich....if you purchase anything that doesn't quite do what you hoped and was sold as being able too.. what would you do? ...primerdesign ltd were ...ASKED !!!!
HC , hypothetically how much would it cost Novacyt to takeover Genedrive , assuming they fail to raise the cash to survive ?
I suspect NCYT are too close to the dispute resolution to be actively pursuing m&a however I'm sure Lyn has at least half an eye on developments at Genedrive and if that funding falls through / GDR end up in the same place six months further down the line re cash but with NICE approval progress (expected July) they'll be a potential target.
Gizmo, not sure about you're analogy, signing a legally binding contract, a government organisation agreeing to purchase £150 million worth of tests......not same as an individual on the high street purchasing a canoe.
Genedrive and Yourgene are both based in Manchester and is this just a coincidence. Should we be thinking Yourgene directors and Genedrive directors are collaborating for Novacyt to take over if GDR fails to raise enough cash to sustain existence ? I think Dr Joanne Mason must know the technology of Genedrive very well and their commercial prospects. Would this be a good move for Novacyt ? Is this takeover planned after winning DHSC case ? It just seems too suspicious to me ?

Hi poidster hope your well ....I brought a canoe ..it don't work well in the sea ....bloody salesman ...least I can change it for a kayak.. and not sink ....50/50 ....
I hope you've loaded up Poidster at these low prices.
It should be printing money .
Poidster I will send you a post card, but only after Ive sold my shares at a figure I feel is obtainable….
A clue to obtainable figure is the destination ending in… B B dos :)
Haha.. I have to agree with Val on this one.
Unfortunately aim seems to attract far too many lifestyle directors ..who gets paid for poor performances if any at all.
When they burn out the company money ...they place..until that is no longer possible
Looking at ftse100 ..the market does not seem broken
I just think it is getting more discerning
Too many piggies in troughs have soured aim...it is losing its punters as they no longer have faith in the ability of a lot of the piggies.
