That was a weird old week, let’s see what next week brings, hopefully another update.
Have a good weekend all :0)
Lots of buys going through as sells on Aquis exchange
Just topped up but went through as a sell (as did my last top up).
lol madness isn't it...
I think people are overestimated how long it will take things to pan out here.
I think this level is offering a great value entry.
It was good of Nigel to update with an RNS. Is it actually price sensitive news? apparently not, but it is progress and potentially at least as, if not more encouraging than the patents which are very necessary but more of a formality. If you heard the last podcast about the complexity of different possible outcomes of research work Nigel went to some length to explain you will understand the difficulty in how to proceed with so many perspective partners. Maybe it is this negotiation that will require as much diligence in the final best partner selection as the research itself to get N4p the best possible outcome. The options are stacking up. No point in rushing anything now
I think we’ve all been too used to seeing N4 move up very quickly but sadly yesterday a few felt the Evotec update was adding delays, it’s ‘possibly’ going into Q3, which is only 6 weeks away!
mRNA is now proven to be an absolute game changer, but the developers still want better, they have far fewer delivery options so the delivery system companies that can produce protection of the plasmid, safety and scalability will be naming their price.
It’s simple business, you have a potential product that can help improve someone’s chances of getting to market, why wouldn’t they try it?
I’ll never advise anyone to buy or hold, but, this is now further than it’s previously been and agglomeration appears to be in control. AZ (Medlmmune) walked away years ago and EUNCL quickly spotted this issue too.. if it’s sorted will this reignite interest with Astra Zeneca?
This is not a share to get heavily involved in yet. Too many unknowns. Build up slowly over the next few months. I don't think there'll be many RNS's over summer so sp could drop to half what it is now IMHO.
I do expect nice Chrismas presents at the end of the year though. :-)
Good points Cidermaker.
I think what happened with the share price yesterday was day traders. They brought in early doors looking for 30-40% gains, as has happened previously, didn't get them so sold in the afternoon.
So having slept on it I am still of the same opinion as when I read the RNS yesterday .....slightly underwhelmed
Whilst the news is good it is not amazing. It is the least what we should have expected for what has been 6 months in waiting.
News from Evotec is now going to be delayed. Not great!
Maybe we will have more news shortly but the share price does tell the story
* Am I impatience - Yes!
* Do I know exactly the ins and out of MTA's - No!
* Leister please go easy on me ;-)
European Patent Office may grant this anytime soon. With other jurisdictions following too.
We will finish today blue, and then that's another blue day, can't ask for much more than a rise in SP daily/weekly. Just a thought.
Based on past sp moves after RNSs and now Mr Market knows there will be no game changing RNS in the near term I suspect a drift towards 7p is more likely than a rise to 10p unfortunately
On good news like we had yesterday n4 always moves up fast. We are finally teaming up with interested parties which paves the way to royalties from them, makes me feel nuvec is on the homeward stretch now? Am I being over optimistic? do we still have years before we see any royalties?
What else could be holding the share price back?
After yesterday's update I thought we would peak at 12p before dropping back to 10 or 11p.
We will certainly be burning our money much faster as so much more is going on are people worried about another placing coming?
Or is it just that too many people have been spiked in the past with n4 and are staying clear? I would have thought now was the time to get in. We have 2 serious pharma companies interested more should follow, surely its only a matter of time before n4 is being used in products?
Looking at the speed vaccines have got to market recently I can see the vaccine company being able to get us to market within a year? What do people think?
More like 8p i think....so i can buy a few more, the market does not see the potenial at the moment..
Be good to get above 10p today
After such a great update I’d have hope for a slightly better increase than 4%. Echo what others have said about not a huge spike to get the sheep in, but I can’t see this growing by small %’s daily to counter the steady decline over the last few months. I hope I’m wrong mind, I’m currently showing a double digit loss and weighing up if to average down.
GLA all.
Ah Del I knew he'd come back.. we know DanBaker's real identity from his private zoom call with Nigel. Personally I've always been of the opinion that a significant shareholder shouldn't be lurking about using a false name, what do you think?
Great Update today, just what we needed.
Nigel - see what positive news brings! Investors are happy again and will no doubt be more positive going forward, so thank you and what your team are doing.
GLA and we all look forward to more positive news in the not to distant future.
Yes Dan it certainly was. Thanks Del.
Looking forward to the next one, whoever it comes from...
Already have :)
Del, it would be worth your while approaching Nigel to do another podcast as the last one was well received and much appreciated.
Should I dust off the mic Dan...?
If the Covid-19 MTA is with who I think it is, I'd be very pleased
JOHN, you need to read the RNS in more detail.
" it may negate the need for the Company to do its own proof of concept work "
What this means is that if the MTA`s go to plan then the proof of concept work Nigel spoke of in his last interview would no longer be required, so a saving of time and resources.
PS. Spoke with Nigel earlier, a podcast explaining today`s news will follow shortly.
Agree with many of the below posts, i certainly thought it was a great update and have been glad to add more today :)
This is what all holders have been waiting for - for a 3rd party to be interested enough to take a chance and try Nuvec for themselves. Well, not just one, but two parties with others still in discussions....
If investors remember Delboys sharetalk interview of 8th April, Nigel discussed this phase in detail from 14-17 mins. He said that partners would need to try it for themselves to do some prelim work to see if their product binds to Nuvec etc. His words: 'It wouldn't take to long and isn't expensive. Once we've done this for 1 or 2 partners then we probably wont need to do it for the 3rd and 4th....'

I think good news will continue to trickle in & we build slowly from here, happy days :)))
Well I for one would have taken a spike.Any spike.
