I am pretty sure metal tiger has a long way to go, criteria 25 to 35p ,but I am up over 40% at the moment, so expect some profit-taking!
"Cop-per" load of this -
Copper (USD/Lbs) 4.2219 +0.0843 (+2.04%)
11.8, 14, and now 17.5 and still buying. Great sign that at least he's confident.
Just checking up on SFR, see they are only 1Q away from Motheo prod, and mb 18m from adding , up to 15MT pa. A4 alone est $6.4m pa to MTR, per Simon Thompson, on a £29m Mcap, ignoring the capped $2m on T3, potential at A (uncapped 2%), and Kalahari, and the remaining SFR shares net of borrowings. I exoect ST to do a sum of parts valuation shortly, musy come to much more than today's SP, as MM clearly knows.

Good to see Michael McNeilly continuing to buy and taking his holding to 1.5m.

Thank you for that update; let’s hope that CBE”s recent disclosures on CU reap the rewards.
Agreed TF1. However, having Sprott on your register can be a double edged sword. They are out to make money and would be quite happy to lend out their stock for a fee. The Commodity Discover Fund (Willem Middelkoop) are rumoured to have made a packet from lending out their Cobre (CBE.ASX) holding when the share price tanked a few months ago. The Commodity Discovery Fund and Sprott were on our register. Not sure if the Commodity Discovery Fund is still there but Sprott have reduced their holding considerably.

I wouldn’t be surprised if MTR had an SP of between 20-25p by then.
Two weeks is obviously into February and IMO we may be going from 1st gear into 2nd gear rapido.
I’ve bought just over 112,000 recently with more to come.
Hopefully my direct wording as to previous exercises by certain board members has been relayed back; harsh ? No ; Rude No ? Statement of facts ? Absolutely.
I am glad that SFR has rejoined the $6 club; underpins confidence and divi not far away. CBE may be about to disclose some exciting info; still staggered that MTR haven’t mentioned the $2M that Sprott chucked in for last fundraise.
Hey ho, what do I know but I finally feel confident we are onwards and upwards.
Strong buy … I think ST will include MTR, BVC, AVAP … I sold out BVC … but will buy back in!
Could Simon Thompson be including MTR in his Bargain Shares 2023? We'll find out in c 2 weeks time.
Looks like an another Director buy for 100k this morning!
Could sell 50000 at 16.5 at the moment but couldn't buy even 5000 on HL
Agreed. The Royalty will only increase in value as A4 comes into production followed by A1 and any other discovery.
I understand your position, but hopefully this will be well over 25p- 35p … looks like a winner to me
i hope so, ive been watching this space for years now and all its done is drop. it would be nice to at least break even at some point
Metal tiger is about to roar watch this space….
by the end of February this year; so hopefully we'll have a fairer (and higher) NAV per share
which is 18.7p as at 31 Dec 22 (on ASX website)
That’s my take as well JB.
Correct JB. HL’s compliance function felt that MTR should be categorised as a fund/investment trust and consequently an EMT (MIFID) template had to be completed! That was all resolved by MTR back in August I think. Unnecessary bureaucracy in my opinion!
hi Coltman
MTR will not charge you for holding their share.
This must be a number plucked from a key investor document summary (or equivalent) due to regulatory rules on disclosing costs
Is Metal Tiger not an ordinary share, I am being asked to pay an ongoing charge of £ 4.95 by Iweb to buy for £500of shares? I alreday have shares bought some time ago with Iweb which I am not paying a charge for.
Does anyone have any experience of this?
I think the trading via HL was blocked for a while for some administrative reason - so now liquidity will be better, and hopefully less wild swings in price.
