My concern is more around getting delisted before the transaction is due to complete, assuming it does, next July. Isn't the rule of the LSE that a company will be delisted if a suspension lasts longer than 6 months?
Given the market cap of R8 of circa £2.5m and the price of £50m suggested in the RNS.
The RNS also says the purchase will be a share capital swap I'd say it is impossible that we get between 10-20%, likely outcome is 5% after dilution.
A 20p re-entry would then value redwood at circa £450m, so no chance. I think if we're very luck we might see 5p but could even drop.
Crypto booming and i believe 2024 is going to be the year for +++++++++ in crypto
we have a crypto license
uk are making a crypto coin... wonder what bank with a crypto license will store them ...
Hi I was beginning to think I was on my own on here, this crypto license got to be worth some serious money if bit coin reaches 100,000 incorporated with the bank and especially what they specialize in got to be at least 20p on re-entry ?
How will that affect the share value we have in R8 ? if we get 20% value ?
I am thinking around 10-20% just a guess obviously would be rather gutted at less. anyone else want a guess? boring here otherwise
I would like to know that as well they will no that already I expect us investors will be the last to find out I expect,if they want to keep a happy ship right from the get go, they should inform us exactly what's going on so we can all get behind them
Wait.... would at least like to know the amount we are going to get in redwood then can start talking about redwood valuation etc
This could be shaping up to look very promising for the summer RTO. I don't think they are going to have any issues raising the capital (if things continue as they are), I just hope its doesn't dilute existing shareholders to nothing.

When time is a problem, Redwood has the solution.
While some projects require time, others require speed. Working with the team at (tag) Commercial Finance Partnership on this particular deal, time was of the essence
Long l9bg wait. Just forget and come back next summer to a nice wee hopeful decent size win. Be rather disappointed If it doesn't multi bag
Mr Redwood I would sure like to know which direction and your intentions are with the cryptocurrency license you hold, next July is a bloody long time to wait for us LTH investers please give us something to constamplate in the mean time
Redwood Bank’s partnership with @WarringtonRLFC is set to continue until 2024 after announcing its sponsorship earlier this year.
Really hope we are truly rewarded
If All goes to plan and meets all the new banking licenses and all the new banking regulations with cryptocurrency license incorporated I could see this opening up at least 20p plus on opening and going much higher through out the day, with his family ,rich mates his experience and circles of buisness people he associates with this could be a flyer.Downside is they say July but we already no the financial regulations hoops any financial institution has to climb through takes ages and we all want a good result at the end of it.The Redwood bank already flying and going from strength to strength so looking really positive roll on July
Demolition.... I doubt it as inevitably the SP would rise making it more expensive their end. Might we get a conclusion before July? Who knows but I'll see you back here if we do!
Investor_Bill do you think we will relist before July Before todays RNS buisness concludes ?
I'd assume that they get absolutely no benefit whatsoever by relisting early, so doubt that they will.
Not sure on this but can R8 capital still relist prior to July anyway ? Anyone know another positive for the redwood bank

It's been known for a while that Redwood Bank were looking to list on the main market so with all the financial intricacies that tie JR to both this and Redwood I can't see a reasonable reason from the information that's out there why this won't complete. Yes, it's not on a timescale any of us are pleased about (I was hoping January) but we're talking about complicated banking finance with all the associated rules and regs that go with them. Personally I see this mornings rns as a positive in as much as it still going ahead and we've got a date. So in echo to some other posters.... Happy Christmas etc. and see you in July!
Not really happy money tied up for 6 months but then again it could happen a lot quicker than that, thats probably a worst case senerio, possible they could put out another RNS saying events have moved along quicker than expected but also not 100% guaranteed to happen.Whats other people's views ?
So is this positive that its taking until July ? Garonne doesn't seem to think its positive ? what are the possibilities from here ?
Sorry, not Aim in this case but sure feels like it!
Ah well, at least i can now forget about this till next summer, good luck all and happy Christmas and Easter when it comes :P
