Good news is the activists most likely not target PM. I managed to communicate with one of them, I asked him what is the situation with petro matad. his reply was.
"We do not include national companies"
Good research and work master, only WOS and you have contributed to this board and gratefully for your efforts , keep the faith mate, we have bad management but it's getting there slowly,
Landuse will be done as the locals support it, just admin time for something new maybe their dealing with, going for start of June for this to be sorted by
Great post again Master, is it worth sending the X link to the activist. I have asked PM to post the same link on X in Mongolian , would be easier for the Matad and Dornod locals to read and actually see what PM have done ref the environment.
I tried to get info out of the district officer. But unfortunately he wouldn't give anything away.
He said "I don't know you, ask Pietro Matt himself". Which is fair enough.
I'll keep trying slowly. I don't want him to block me
Okay Master, best try and keep him accessible.
This is my argument regarding the management. Why has it took 6 years to convince the activists that PM is a nation company.
Is it because shareholders in the UK are now following the activists and finding information which is held from us.
This issue can be resolved in matter of weeks.
Throw money where it matters..
£200k is a joke to make a deal on oil worth in hundreds of millions.
Master82, I vehemently disagree that we should throw more of OUR money into bribing/influencing anybody. We've paid plenty already, it's not worked to the point where we are still unable to produce oil today, and we would be just as bad as the corrupt people if we partake in such activities.
If no oil this year, then enough surely is enough and they'll have to go down the legal route.
If anything, it now should be "sign the papers and we will help with this or that ", no more assistance or help until papers are signed. Dangle a carrot to ensure they sign. No more to be given to them until the paperwork is signed.
Again listen to the AGm.. MB is not stupid...he does everything you guys suggests. And i think hé is on your line Doc.
But also clear government just wants to delay imho. Remember what hé said: all is clear but only thing departement are doing is asking governer in writing why hé objects... delay delay....first till after elections...then.....
Matd can be much more generous to locals and community but the locals should earn it.
When the land use is signed then they may deserve much more help.
Publicity/engaging with locals and activists is the key now.
100%of nothing is nothing.
Wonder why we haven't had the approval yet.
Mongols got nothing to loose. We on the other hand have. The power is in their hands.
Why pay useless team millions when they can not resolve a simple situation.
You can say what you want but money talks . This is crying out for money.
Did you not read the message from 2022 meeting.
They will oppose until it benefits them.
As a good business man you would come to some understanding with the locals. He has just wasted 10m on wages and counting .
Look from the other side. A foreign company is going to take the wealth away and locals get peanuts.
Just like some of you hate foreigners coming to the UK and making money, they hate foreigners stealing wealth.
This is a business deal nothing else.
Master82 - post AGM just a fortnight ago, you said this:
"Yes I think MB did answer well and I have lot more respect for the guy. He has answered my questions regarding it being personal and regarding the plan to hep the locals."
Has all that respect now disappeared?!
Having respect for answering my questions doesn't make him a good CEO.
He still hasn't managed to resolve the land access.
You can respect someone doesn't mean you have to agree with their ways.
He answered my questions so I respect him for that.
The question we all need to ask is what do the provincial government want. Why are they not giving access. Nothing to with land law.
Look at the paperwork posted by the activists. It clearly says they want to benefit from the oil and not get shafted just like PC has done with them.
All the hassle and no benefits.
Give them money and you will access with in 24 hrs
