Hopefully tender results published soon

Great find and post Jimi. Hopefully will stop people thinking no RNS this morning means we haven't been awarded any new licences. Basically bids have been received, but no decision as yet by MRPAM
News anyway. Mpram did say 10th January for results
Looks like sticking to a schedule is a general problem in Mongolia.
I can't see many companies bidding for the blocks .
I think PM is the only western company for oil exploration in Mongolia.
I wonder how many of the 14 areas Matd applied for.
2022/23 Exploration Licencing Round
MRPAM has announced an Exploration Licencing round covering 14 blocks in the prospective fairways of the southern half of the country. These areas share the same stratigraphy and geological history as proven prolific oil basins of northern China. With its extensive data base, technical expertise and operational experience Petro Matad has a significant competitive advantage as the country's leading explorer and intends to participate in the licencing round with a view to signing some new production sharing contracts.
D1inger - only 5 of the 14 have been released for this first round of bidding but we'll soon see which ones they're gone for in this first batch
Thanks for that researchandhold. That’s good to know.
What else is good to know is that the “Country’s leading explorer”, is showing faith in itself and the potential oil discoveries waiting to be made in Mongolia, and Matd wants to be at the forefront of that or they would leave the other blocks for others to explore.
Little company, massive future…… If the Mongolian Government can get it’s act together, but the signs are there that things are taking a turn for the better.

Mms keeping this down to scare short term holders.
There's no reason for mpram not to award block to PM. PM has data for the block they are interested in.
No bad news is expected here.
This can only go up.
It can definitely not only go up!
It needs a good reason to go down. Just like it needs good reason to go up.
What could take this down besides delays.
PM have till March April to get permits
I thought we were told 3 months from October? That's what the market has priced in right now. So if January comes and goes with no LP, this will likely fall.
I think the market know what Mongolian time keeping is like.
Prime example was EL. And this mpram results ..
It's a be very slow moving country.
We were in the same position last year waiting for the land permit that never arrived . I hope this isn't a case of de ja vu We are hanging on the words of MB in the interview and some casual words that were exchanged between him and the Minister. With the minister stating he would get it moved along within the next 1 to 3 months from October . Nothing concrete by any stretch of the imagination and I for one don't expect an announcement within that 3 month period .
The 1-3 months is all but up already, isn’t it? What date in October was this said?
Why would the MG refuse to give PM the LP when at the same time they are putting 14 new blocks out for tender it wouldn't make sense and what message would that send out to other companies who are thinking of bidding and potentially spending millions on these new blocks. So for me it's on its way, hope I'm right

A specific date in October was not mentioned so even if you say 31st October we have until the end of the month.
As mentioned previously Imo this will be sorted before the end of the Autumn Parliamentary Session which last year was Jan 19th, so I would presume Jan 20th, so as said imo not long to wait.
I don't have a computer but can anyone find there way around this link my phone screen isn't big enough to load it all thanx in advance GLA

I think it will go up or maybe go down if not it will stay as it is
Jimi, it's saying active tenders start and end date. End date is this Friday
The tenders only relate to the areas, no mention of companies.
When I click on the three lines top right, a pop up takes me to three more links, licences and spacial areas, and then get stopped there I was just curious cheers, thumbs up emoji :+))
Jimi it's good to know that the tenders end this Friday so imo no RNS this week ref new licences, but most likely late next week after MRPAM have gone through and vetted them all.
