Too many unfunded speculations.
It is all traders scaring the weak hands to get their shares as cheap as possible.
WOS thanks for your informative posts.
Mr Pillsbury
This is NOT what Govt or Petro Matad say.
They all want production as soon as possible for domestic production, PSC revenue and to protect foreign currency reserve.
Fuel Crisis maybe show why.
BB speculation does not make sense when we look at more complete picture.
Hope this help 🦉

I don't think the MG will rely on Heron as there only (or even main) source of crude oil feedstock for their refinery.

If we PIs need to wait for the refinery to get operational and that is announced by PM's management:
We will all have to kiss any postive change to the SP goodbye - for a long time.
I hope this is not the avenue PM choose to take.

I also believe that we will have to wait until the refinery is fully operational. GLA
Four months ago Mike Buck gave an interview and mentioned that they were in the process of negotiating a contract
that would allow Petro China to process the Heron Oil whilst the refinery was being built. This is a key point and may well explain why there is no RNS or rush to bring Heron on stream. Mongolian Govt may well be insisting (behind closed doors) that Petro China have nothing to do with the Heron oil given the negative environmental impact Petro China has had in Mongolia. Politics often win over sound economic arguments and therefore the MG will only allow the Heron Oil out of the ground when refinery is fully operational. Mick Buck needs to clarify the situation in a separate RNS.
Maybe some unexpected access to WiFi wherever he’s gone on holiday?!
Investor 33. It has entered the zone but needs to sit for a couple of sessions in the 2.7-2.8 range to be boxed.
Like you say, at this rate that’ll be this week.
Maybe the locals might realise that they need energy independence and Give PM the long waited LP.
No fuel ,no electricity in winter. Might be danger to life for the old and vulnerable. I hope they stay safe.

Limit the load
about working
N
The main equipments of the "DPHS" SPC, such as furnaces and turbogenerators, are all in operation, with a total load of 36.8-37 MW.
On December 12, 2023, there was a fault in block 2 of the Galut Lake station in Russia, reducing the consumption of electricity for export to Mongolia by 200 MW, and the power system fell short by 1,200 MW, and switched to emergency mode.
Mongolia's energy system is going to follow the approved emergency mode of winter heavy load of 2023-2024. According to this regime, the Sukhbaatar Province's electricity consumption is provided by the "WEDHS" SPC.
As the total consumption of Sukhbaatar Province is 10 MW, there is an urgent need to limit all mines and mines.
Therefore, starting from December 13, 2023, the use of electricity in all districts will be cut off for an indefinite period between 16:00 and 22:00, so please prepare and coordinate during this period.
In the future, if the consumption of imported electricity in Mongolia increases, the consumption of electricity in all districts will be taken to a normal level.
CHIEF ENGINEER
I think Russia is punishing Mongolia. Now electricity problems..
So they've stopped exporting fuel to Mongolia and today they saying electricity will be limited.
Oh well good news for PM .
Complete waste of time occasionally checking in to see if anything worthwhile to read - same old, same old bickering! Truth is, none of us know what's going on! We will just have to wait for an official communication. Hold or sell up!
Short sorry but I'm not wasting my time if you do not get it.
You carry on with your investment .
Short tou should not be investing in any oil and gas companies if you do not know what a product sharing contract is.
Master - this isn’t going to court, at least not any time soon, so you might as well save your breath.
It all has an iffy feeling to it now and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised to see another year pass by with no news and a cash raise, but as SS says, all we can do is sell or hold on and hope.
Short sorry but you are not clever at all. I explained to you.MT has exploration side and fuel stations .
Nevermind ..pointless if you are not lever enough to read the pages I've posted then I'm wasting my time.
@Finwittrader - you wrote ;
"If no news this side of Christmas then the SP will definitely re-enter the trading box of 2.7 - 3.1 "
It has already hasn't it ?
Short are you kidding me..2010 is when they signed a Product sharing contract. They started exploring in 2019 when the land issue started.
Just like PM.
The court case in August was to do with 2019 land dispute. Nothing to do with 2010
"Magnai Trade" LLC, a major tycoon of the fuel market, began to explore for oil in the Eastern Province in 2018. Specifically, the 17th field in Bayantumen, covering 786,000 hectares of seven sums of the Eastern province, is going to be drilled, and it is still facing opposition from the local people.
In 2019, the governor of the province M. Badamsuren issued an order to vacate the land, considering that the company used unauthorized land in the Eastern region and placed a drilling tower, a large number of containers and equipment.
In this regard, "Magnai Trade LLC filed a complaint with the court of first instance of Sum Dund civil case in Dornod Province. Governor of the province M. Badamsuren claimed that the company suffered damage due to the failure of drilling and demanded 2.5 billion MNT.
In this regard, the Governor of Dornod province, M. Badamsuren, claimed that "Magnai Trade" Ltd. claimed that "damages were caused due to non-drilling in the area of Choibalsan Sum" and sued for 2.5 billion MNT.
In 2010, Bayantumen 17, which covers 7 sums of our province, the company signed an agreement to share oil products.
In 2019, the governor of the province issued an order to vacate the site, considering that the company used the land without permission and placed a drilling tower, a large number of containers and equipment.
The court case is about 2019 when the local governor revoked the land from MT .
Go and find out why the project was stopped. Same as PM.
I'll post it when I find it. So get a clearer picture.
we are ******* in the wind following mg blindly . they just do not have the authority to give special permit.
they wanted to build airport in dorno. it had to be bought to local government to be passed.
they have never dealt with this sort of case so the mg does not have a clue.
why would a 3 month process take 14months and counting .
get the legal team and the governor might change his tune as he has to pay £500k to mt and they are struggling as it is..
Header say it all.
( if you can't beat them, join them )
Short . I just gave you information on when the court case started. 2010 is to do with the gas station they own. Not the exploration side.
They have two sides to their business. Exploration and fuel stations . Just like petrovis
2 max 3 months. Both PM and MT cases too no more than 3 months.
I'm giving you information why don't you research on it.
