Interesting stats indeed.
Re: the RR Rights issue of 10 for 3, this would have added costs to the original £1000 as the rights were not free.
From memory I thought they cost 32p each, so would add about £333 to the cost. The original 322 shares are down massively. Your comparison assumes the investor would have had funds avialable to take up the RI which is not always the case.
So by my way of thinking, LLOY is well ahead of RR on that comparison.
Sorry if I am confusing things but just my thoughts on subject.

A very basic comparison that does not include divi yield, IMO those still suggesting Lloy is 'the worst share ever' or a 'dire share' seriously need to examine their concept of investing.

All the suggested fantasy portfolio participants have all long gone.
Sadly uneducated gamblers that dumped Lloyd's Banking Group shares all but mostly lost all their money on chasing AIM rainbow stocks .
Moral of the story here is better the devil you know.
Ok Lloyd's Banking Group shares will not make us a millionaire but pay us a decent living.
I say keep it real and never be greedy in life happy with what you are given.

The cleverest thing i done was load up with NWG . Union Jack " aim " also clever , it's stuck at the mo but 100% profit . Got nowt else on the shopping list might just sit tight and observe.
